The Fellowship Family

My overall experience has been very good. As you know, the ownership has recently changed and the new executives have only been here a week. I personally haven't met any of them yet, but I will soon. However, the service people, who are mostly young women, are very pleasant and good at their jobs. The rooms are very nice - mine has a porch - and the entire place is clean. The new owners have done a terrific job in updating the foodservice. All the residents are provided with a weekly menu along with a daily menu with additional suggestions from which we are provided additional choices for each serving. It's really good. That's about it. And please realize that I'm 95 years old. I lived in a beautiful ranch home by myself for 3 years after my wife passed away and I had a personal chef come in once a week and prepare 5 meals for me.

Even though [name removed] was only with you for a week, we were both impressed with the kindness and concern of the staff. [name removed] was especially helpful answering questions and understanding our situation. After [name removed]'s passing, the financial end of things was taken care of in such what I considered a very generous and compassionate way.

This was the best service I've ever used. Everyone was professional, kind, and very helpful. I give A Place for Mom the highest recommendation possible!

I recently visited Fellowship Hillside in Lagrange Georgia- From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile. The atmosphere there is so pleasant and happy feeling. The building is absolutely beautiful and well cared for. I met the Director and she was so welcoming and took time to answer questions about my family member. I wish I could give 10 stars, what a nice place.

The entire Team and the residents in MC are a true family. They offer a ton of activities for the residents and Mom loves the food! Mom has a private suite - so a nice size living room and then separate doored bedroom with en-suite bathroom. She also has her own air conditioner/heater.

The only thing I didn't like was his clothes didn't return to him. He would end up with another's clothes, even though his name was on clothes. My husband had medical issues as well as dementia and was constantly taking bandages off. I was notified by the head nurse and was a part of the decision making for his help. Hospice was contacted and worked closely with head nurse and myself. Awesome care

Mom passed away in September but she really enjoyed her time there. I can't say enough good things about the staff and the facility! The staff and residents became like family to us. Everyone is so friendly and caring. I still go and visit for social hour at least once a month. I give them 5 out of 5 stars!!!!

My mother passed last summer. She really liked LaGrange Heritage. I was pleased with it also. At the time we were inquiring, they matched the rate of a lower priced facility. I would tell others that If you have any veterans benefits, use them.

My parents loved the place especially my dad who couldn’t say enough good things about the food and staff. Their room was amazing and had safety features in the bathroom . The hallway had grab bars that didn’t look like grab bars. There was a little shelf outside their door so they could make the entry way to their room unique to them.

My mom has friends , activities, PT, cocktail hour, a good social life and the nursing/care that she needs (if not available there, they will take her where needed.) As anywhere, there are some hiccups but overall we are very happy with her there.

[name removed] and the rest of the staff at Heritage made everything incredibly easy. Everyone was genuinely caring and, the facility was clean, up to date, and had every amenity we could want, plus the food was excellent! I can't say enough good things about Heritage and everyone who works there, and I feel blessed to have found such a great place for my dad so close to home.

I would recommend The Cove at Marsh Landing to anyone who is looking for affordable, high quality care. The overall impression of the facility is a 5 star hotel. The staff is professional. They are also kind and caring towards the residents. There are daily activities for everyone to enjoy. Transportation is available as well. My mom was well cared for and enjoyed the time that she was there.

I would say 5 for all. We wished she could have stayed longer but she needed different care. We chose Savannah Grand of Amelia Island because the location was best and our family lived close by. And cost for what you received was fair and reasonable. The attention and compassion from staff was noticed and appreciated. The compassion and treatment to me is key. Leaving them you want to know they will be respected, cared for in a safe and loving way.

[name removed] [name removed] and [name removed] come up with the most engaging, entertaining, and fun activities I have ever seen at ANY community I ever been too! They’re so creative and you can tell how much the residents enjoy these ladies just by the smiles on their faces when one of these ladies grace a room! Keep up the good work and well deserved achievement!

The Cove at Marsh Landing is going through some high turnover rate with their staff team, however the staff that are working there are great. They are so personable and they know exactly who I am and who my loved one is. The medication management and consistency could be a little bit better when it comes to filling the prescriptions. When you break it down, it really overall is a great place and our loved one is having a great time there. There are so many activities that half the time when I call he is not available because he is off doing something. They have social happy hours, they play bingo and he enjoys playing pool. They also have movie nights as well a trivia throughout the week. There is a bus that the residents can use for transportation back and forth from the local shopping center - however its been broken down for about a month. For the amount of money the residents are paying, it would be nice if they could use that transportation system.

The community is comfortable, pleasant, and I feel like my mom is safe and being well taken care of. The staff is very nice and is is an easy going environment. I would definitely recommend it so far (only been there one month.)

This facility is always clean and the meals are very good. They take care of all of my loved one's needs here. Her overall health and mental state have improved. They also have daily activities for the residents to be involved in.

I'm very happy and we've been happy. Knowing that nothing will ever be perfect, I'm still very pleased with The Cove at Marsh Landing and I always have been. Once in a while you might have a little hiccup, but other than it's great and I'm happy with where they're at.

Savannah Grand has the best food and service!
