Our experience thus far with Deepwoods Estates would have to suggest that this is what heaven must be for retirees and folks who need help with daily living. We needed to find a residential community for a family member who was having some memory issues and recent hospitalization due to inadequate nutrition and supervision. We can't believe we were so lucky to find Deepwoods! (We were familiar with Holiday Retirement Communities in Charleston and other areas.. and knew folks who had been residents there for a long time.) The fact that they had an available apartment perfectly suited for him.. was truly a gift. The personnel are GREAT! The Deepwoods staff folks are caring and it is obvious they love their jobs.. with both of us being in health care professions.. we know when people are truly involved in their chosen fields. The food is absolutely wonderful. Presentation is amazing. The Assisting Hands agency on site has proved to be another gift. They have made his transition from a solitary rural setting to this group home so much easier. We had been waiting to see what his needs truly might be.. but advice now would be to enlist their help from day one! Everything is financially reasonable and the peace of mind they offer is invaluable. The icing on the cake has been the incredible décor during the holiday season.. Halloween was so cute.. but the Christmas décor looks like something out of a Marshall Field's Christmas movie. Their decoration budget must be enormous! Everywhere one looks here is holiday cheer. To say it is fantastic is an understatement. And the entertainment planned for the month is phenomenal. Our granddaughter was able to meet Abraham the Camel on a visit last week. No doubt on his way to Bethlehem! If you are looking for an independent/assisted living home for a loved one in the Columbia-Lexington area.. look no further. We doubt any place in the area could top Deepwoods on all counts. We are so grateful!!

My family toured the Regency House for my Dad. The Sales Leader, Assistant Manager and other staff were amazing, personable, professional and welcoming. The community spaces are nice, and comfortable with lots of light. The outdoor area was spacious and peaceful. The apartments were extremely large, clean and well appointed. I have toured other facilities and the square footage of the resident's apartments do no compare! Everyone that we met was extremely friendly and took the time to chat with us and learn about our loved one. After the tour the sales leader came out to visit my dad several times to bring him lunch from the facility and to check on him. He loved the meals and said they were delicious! Thank you very much! The Regency House is a special place with exceptional people. They have a great location in an upward developing area in Decatur It is close to the Atlanta VA clinic, Dekalb Medical, plenty of shopping, restaurants, and Decatur square. I would highly recommend the Regency House as a consideration for your loved one.

I made an appt. with the sales person there, and had my mom moving in within 2 weeks! This facility understands the different issues our elderly loved ones may have, and makes everything as easy as possible for the residents to life fulfilling lives while still in a caring enviorment. My mother has greatly improved by living in this community and has made a lot of friends. I visit her a least once a week and have gotten to know a lot of the staff, and everyone always says hello to me when I visit, and tell me how my mom is doing. The residents also look out for each other - which I love! Every time I go to take mom out for a while, they all tell me to make sure I bring her back. :) This facility is clean, has great food, and a lot of activities to participate in if someone wants to do so. They even have live music and holiday events on a regular basis. I am so thankful I found a place for my mother that I feel comfortable with and she is really happy as well

My mother has resided at The Regency House for 4 years. She loves the community. The staff are amazing and very loving. I recommend this community highly.

I have worked and lived at The Regency House and I can tell you first hand that it is a great place to live. Love, love, love the food.

Me and my wife visited the Regency House this week. We attended the Veteran's Celebration they had for veteran's. It was an amazing celebration. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony or patio. The community is in a quite neighborhood and the yard is beautiful with trees, a walking path, and gardens. Put this community on your must visit list!

We have been here over 6 months. We find the staff very helpful, friendly and willing to assist in any way we ask. The food is good although not southern cooking. The facilities are very nice and clean.

From my first visit to check out the Fairmont for my mother, i knew this was the place for her! The staff was very kind, informative, and attentive to all my questions. Since my mother has moved in, she has become so much happier than when she lived in her large single-family home. Everyone at The Fairmont is cheerful, Kind, and attentive to all the residents. Fresh flowers always greet anyone who walks in the door. Numerous brochures and announcements for upcoming events are posted in the foyer and elevator enticing residents to participate. There is always something going on! I would never have known about the Fairmont if it hadn’t been introduced to me from A Placr for Mom. Thank you!

My mother in law loves it. She is almost 90, and just moved here from tennessee. She has no roots here but she is nearer to my wife and me. She likes the staff, the residents, the activities, the food... We have spoken with the staff and are very impressed. They genuinely care about the residents and have substantive activities. Lectures, bus tour of richmond, meetings with congressional candidates, the bookmobile comes by each month... Her apartment is not large, but easily big enough. She had a full house to herself before, and used about the same amount of space she has here. She loves the balcony. VERY happy with the choice to move here.

Inside, the community is warm and welcoming. My mom enjoys each day with neighbors, play cards or checkers in the atrium, and eat chef-prepared meals with friends in the dining room. They have a big game room and media lounge where social activities like bridge, art classes, yoga are offered. Outside, lush green walking paths and a community garden provide space to soak up the sunshine. The Regency House is all inclusive and offers all levels of care. Look no further, tour this community.

Love this community. I have lived here for 8 years and find it a great place to live. This community cares for their residents very much!

Visited this community yesterday and was amazed how thoughtful, caring, and the attentive they were to me and my mother. After touring numerous other Independent communities we have finally found one my mom can call home. I highly recommend the Regency to all who want to be in a caring atmosphere.

Living at the Regency House has been a wonderful choice I made seven years ago. I enjoy the community atmosphere and the friendships I have made. They offer an array of activities all day. I highly recommend the Regency House to you or your loved one.

I have been a resident of the Regency House for 6 years. The community is welcoming and the staff is caring. We have activities through out the day 7 days a week. The food is amazing! I am a caregiver with a home health care provider and see residents at the Regency House. I have noticed in the past 3 years that the residents are really happy. The Regency House offers activities in the community and outside the community. The food is nutritious and delicious. The staff is amazing. I recommend this community highly.

I work for in the industry and highly recommend this community. The staff are welcoming and deeply care about their residents. From the time you walk in the door to the follow up correspondence the marketer is amazing. I highly enjoy the restaurant style dinning was a great touch, but the food was top notch. I would recommend this community to anyone who wants their loved one to have a great experience.

I am a new resident at the Regency House. I made my decision due to the quality of the food, great staff, and friendly residents. It is wonderful to feel welcomed and cared for by others in a community like this. I visited numerous communities in the area, but none of them compared to the Regency House. I recommend you visit this community. You will love it!

Me and my mother toured the Regency House yesterday. It was warming and the staff were friendly. This was the 4th tour we had and my mother fell in love with everyone. The residents are welcoming, which made my mom comfortable. She moves in on Monday. I highly recommend visiting.

I toured the Regency House on 10/4/18. I was so surprised how wonderful I was welcomed. The sales leader [name removed] is an amazing young lady who really cares for senior's. She showed me around the community and ate lunch with me. Sandy got to know me as a person, not me as a potential resident. Everyone from the residents to the staff was very nice. Now this is my home.
