This is a fantastic community that I would recommend to anyone whose mom or dad needs some extra care. Their response times are faster than anything I had seen before and we are very happy with this community.

Best care! Best food! Best staff! We love this community and are so grateful to them for taking care of our dad.

When our grandmother could no longer live safely on her own, we searched high and low for an assisted living facility that would meet all of her needs as far as care, safety and activities were concerned. My grandmother loves being active and she was scared she wouldn't have the sense of community she has had her entire life. We wanted to make sure she was happy, that was our #1 goal for her. She arrived and the friendly staff made her feel right at home and filled us with confidence that this was going to be a wonderful home for her. The 24 hour care is 1st rate and she loves the new friends she has made. The facility is kept clean and she is healthy and happy!

There are not enough great things I can say about this community. Over the holidays, my family realized that it was no longer safe for our mother to live in her home. She was forgetting to take her daily pills, she had fallen twice and was wasting away doing nothing most of the time. We were recommended to try touring this community and I was very hesitant because my mother has always been so fiercely independent. We toured there as well as a couple other places but knew in my heart where she belonged. The staff was so welcoming to my mother when she arrived and the Nurse spent so much time getting to know her. I didn't expect that at all but she really made the transition easy for mom. Their Director, [name removed], is another reason we chose this facility. She gave me her cell phone number and told me I could call any time. I did have to call her once because I thought I had forgotten something and she was so responsive to my needs. I can't say enough good things about it. My mom still has her independence but she also gets help when she needs it. She is also exercising! My mom hadn't done that in years! Thank you to this wonderful team!

Anthology of Plano is one of the most loved felt communities we have ever been in. We are so grateful for all they do. It is not just a assisted living facility it is a true family. They truly care about the resident and families. As we have not been able to see our in his apartment- [name removed]( the director) made sure we had a porch visit! This was priceless for us. The care team is taking such good care of him and words cannot express how grateful we are. Through all this they keep smiling and that helps our Dad. He is still getting a lot of virtual hugs from [name removed]!! ( which he talks about a lot!) Thank you guys so much! We hope to see you all soon.

My family and I have been so impressed with the staff and leadership over the past several months. Our mother has lived there for over a year after we did extensive research in the surrounding Assisted Living communities. The Anthology of Plano ( still known to us as Mapleshade) has provided her the security and have taken care of her relentlessly. When COVID started- the Executive Director ( [name removed]) came and spoke with her personally as she knew she was nervous about what may or may not be happening. The staff have continued to smile and show such a positive attitude ( I heard them when they delivered her lunch one day) She has told us many times over the past months how lucky she is that we found this place for her. Everyone- I mean everyone from the marketing gals to executive director, resident care director, "[name removed]", [name removed] and so many more have truly shown such compassion. They love on her and we cannot say how appreciative we are for all they are doing! Great job Anthology of Plano! We Love you!!

We brought my Grandma to see this facility and was very impressed with what we saw. My grandma needs help with daily living activities like getting dressed and in/out of the shower which they were able to provide, not to mention there is a nurse on property 24 hours a day. They even had a movie theater, exercise classes, and a happy hour! The residents and staff were all friendly and looked to be enjoying themselves. This would be a great facility for someone who needs a little extra help but is looking to still live an active and fulfilled life.

I am so grateful that I found Anthology of Plano. I have been searching for a warm, nurturing facility for my father. He requires care in his day to day activities, and to make sure he takes his necessary medications. The community has welcomed him, and cared for him. My mom, sisters, and I are comforted by the quality of care he receives, and the knowledge that there is 24 hour medical care. I have seen him thrive, and he has returned to some of his favorite social activities. I highly recommend Anthology for anybody needing some help in caring for a loved one.

The staff here truly care about the happiness and well-being of the residents they serve, and it's evident from their caregivers up to their Executive Director! No one there is afraid to jump in and help, including their marketing team. They are the living definition of team work.

My mom has lived at Anthology 3 years and absolutely LOVES everything about the community. The staff is very professional and warm and the residents are friendly and engaging. They allow my mom to strike the perfect balance by keeping to herself when she needs her space and remaining as social as she needs. Mom loves that the staff respects her privacy and allows her independence.

When my mother started showing signs of aging, I had a hard time realizing it was time for a change. I was always worrying about her getting in and out of the shower and whether or not she was eating every day. My work schedule is quite hectic and, because of this, I don't get to see her more than a few times a month. At the recommendation of a friend, I went to Anthology of Plano to see what they could offer my mom. I was so blown away by my time there and the people that I met that I made the decision to move my mother there. It turned out to be the best decision I've made in a long time - both for my mother and myself. Since moving in, my mother has literally blossomed. Instead of sitting in front of her TV, she plays card games and goes to flower-arranging classes! She hadn't done fun activities like those for years. Once COVID hit, I knew she was safe in her assisted living. The staff is extremely diligent about who comes in the building and I still get to see mom as we sit on the front porch and catch up. I couldn't be happier to have found a home for mom that gives me peace of mind while I am away that she is being cared for. Thank you to the Anthology of Plano team! You have truly become our family!

Beautiful community, caring staff and clean! I have seen many assisted living communities and this one is far superior. The care staff is extremely attentive and I have often seen the Executive Director interact with residents as if they are her actual family. I can't say enough about Anthology of Plano.

This community is so much better than anything I expected. I was new to the world of senior housing and had heard horror stories but the staff at Anthology of Plano has proved them all wrong. I have a loved one here who is so happy. She gets much better meals than she did at home, she had made friends and I'm always astonished at the fact that everyone there knows her name. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you to the entire staff at Anthology of Plano; I will recommend to anyone who asks for a great assisted living community. Congratulations on a job well done!

My mother has lived here for three years and every day I am reminded why I chose to move her to this community. We looked at so many but just had the feeling that mom would be happiest and most at home here. Through the ups and downs of her health, my mom has had such a wonderful experience at Mapleshade, which is now Anthology of Plano. I would say that every staff member knows her and has become an extension of our family. I am grateful to the care my mom has received and the fact that she has remained safe and healthy during this turbulent time in society gives me the ultimate peace of mind. As an extended family member of a current resident, and volunteer to the community, THIS STAFF IS AWESOME! At the initial news of the coronavirus, the executive director implemented a plan to keep our loved one, the residents and her staff safe. She has kept us informed of all changes and updates to the ever-changing protocols that are being implemented daily. Amidst the craziness of the shelter in place, and not being able to have personal visits or directly volunteer, I've felt everyone's best interests are being taken care of. No one anywhere and in any industry had any idea of how things were going to go with this pandemic. This team has worked through every detail to ensure the residents receive their meals delivered to their apartment doors hot and fresh. Even having precautions in place to ensure that outside contact was eliminated or limited. Of course, everyone misses seeing their loved one and emotions have run high with the fear of the unknown, but with God's grace and the teamwork this community has exhibited, we couldn't be happier with the continuous good news coming from the executive director that everyone is doing well. All staff have gone beyond their normal duties to help and assist the residents with things like video calls, so we can see our family member, and requesting my volunteer group to mail drawings, letters and cards to keep the residents in good spirits. Staff have even helped order groceries online and have personally picked up and delivered. The staff's smiles and positive spirits behind their masks are truly felt. My family and I understand this situation isn't easy on any of us, including the staff, and just want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the executive director and her team for doing what you do every day to take care of our family member, all of the other residents and their families through this pandemic. We hope to be able to give you all a hug soon, but until then, THANK YOU and God bless!!!!

I visited this community after hearing about it from a friend who was looking for her mother. What a beautiful place and the people working there are so genuine. It's rare to find a senior living establishment with the class this one has. Top notch. The Executive Director and nurse were so helpful to me. Nowhere else to look for my parents.

We appreciate everything they do. They have been so nice to us ever since we moved in and are being very careful to observe the precautions that need to be taken to keep us healthy and safe from the virus. They are bringing us a special little gift to keep our spirits up and giving us things like mental activities to do. They are so thoughtful and so kind. We would like to name the ones who have been especially helpful, but that would be all of them!

I made Anthology my home 2 years ago. It is a wonderful community and environment. The staff and other residents feel like family. I recommend living here....all fun and none of the maintenance of owning a home. LL

[Date removed]: Back in December 2019, I inspected four Assisted Living and four Independent Living communities for my 81 year old mother.My mother whom was adamant she did NOT want to move. Anthology Senior Solutions Independent Living turned out to be the best solution for my mother. The reason Anthology was the best is because there was no comparison. Not a single other senior community even came close. The level of attention, warmth, hospitality, professionalism, and most important their level of CARING, was simply unmatched by any other Caregiving solution in the Galleria area of Houston. It was truly a TEAM effort, from the maintenance gentlemen, to the activities coordinator, the receptionists, the managers, the general manager, and even all the way up to the President. The entire team and organization are dedicated to caring for each and every resident of the Anthology community. Oh, I should mention the other residents also seemed to be a class above. I was fortunate to have moved Mum into Anthology just before the COVID-19 pandemic really hit the Houston area. And over the last 45 days my mother has been living at Anthology, the team has continued their unrelenting CARE and attention to details insuring the safety of the residents and the Team.
