Synergy Home Health Care

My loved one really likes the Synergy staff! They are very nice and do their best to cater to my loved one's needs. If anything, they could do a better job at communicating and catering to family requests, but this is overall a great service!

We met with [Removed] whom gave us a good description of the services rendered. He also said that he would find the care giver that would match best our requirements and personality. The first day, he showed up with the caregiver and introductions were made and he discretely left. We have been very pleased with the service provided to us and would recommend Synergy and also the caregiver we now have.

Synergy made setting up the home care service easy and explained everything up front. Their pricing is very simple. The caregivers that come out to the house to help my mother in law with some housework are on time and friendly. I would recommend this service.

We only needed a caregiver for my dad, who was post open heart surgery, for a week. Synergy was outstanding. They really took the worry off my shoulders. They assisted him in daily activities and showering, but I think the biggest benefit was having them there as a safety precaution. My dad really enjoyed the company of Anna and Bah. They were very attentive to his needs and helped me immensely. Also, the response time from Mark and Rose was greatly appreciated.

Since I broke my leg I have had the opportunity to be cared for by three different individuals. One was a last minute substitute for the day. She was the reason I didn't give Synergy five stars. I like that, when I first contacted them, they sent a nurse to my home to ascertain what my needs would be and give me some ideas on how to manage my mobility. Of the two caregivers who came regularly, both are very attentive to my needs and preferences. They leave me alone when I need privacy, but are never more than a shout away. They have helped me with showering, dressing, grocery shopping, a trip to the vet, a trip to the mall, laundry and meal preparation among other things. They always arrive at the appointed time and act professionally while maintaining a sense of humor. They seem to genuinely enjoy their work. When we hit a glitch, the owner himself jumped in and worked it out to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Synergy to anyone looking for a home health caregiver.

We are doing very well with this home care. The care givers that come and help are very kind and respectful. Everything is working out very good. They come and help with the cooking and cleaning. They are very good at what they do. This is a home care agency I would recommend.

I contacted "A Place for Mom" for some information on assisted living facilities. My father-in-law suffered a stroke in Jan. 2015. Along with others, Synergy Homecare was on the short list. I was told they specialize in home care for people with dementia (which was part of his diagnosis prior to the stroke). After 3 long months of the hospital and rehab facility, he was able to return home. Syngery was contacted and they were there bright and early the following business day. My mother-in-law speaks highly of her "helper". Debbie did everything she was asked and then some. Unfortunately, my father-in-law passed away just 5 days after he returned home. Debbie came to the wake with flowers in her hand! She stayed and talked with my mother-in-law for a long time. It's so nice to know that she cared for both of them. Great job Synergy Homecare and A Place for Mom!!

While the personalities of the home health aids were as individual as each could be, the care they gave was consistent, prompt and cheerfully given. Taking care of my sister involved hard and sometimes dirty work. All of it was undertaken without complaint and completed efficiently. They usually anticipated what was needed, but if something had to be requested, the response was willing and prompt. Thank you, Synergy.

I have been very satisfied with the care my mom has received through Synergy Home Care of Du Page. The staff is very caring and flexible. I have great piece of mind while at work that my mom is being cared for in a respectful and thorough manner.

Great experience ....Responsible and caring. Always there when I needed anything. Unfortunately, my Mom passed away but their home attendants, for the most part, were caring and knowledgeable.

We've had a good experience working with Synergy so far. The owner has always been very responsive, and gets right on any issue that you let him know about. The only issue we've ever had is when we told them we needed someone able to lift a 200lb person the first caregiver they sent was a little small.

Mark is the person who runs Synergy and he was able to make my mother feel comfortable and answered any question we had with confidence. The way he presents him self with control and confidence really makes a difference. He has a fantastic chef that works for him that is able to prepare diabetic and healthy meals as well.

The experience has been excellent. We picked them because of their timely response. I would recommend to others.

They're very flexible. My loved one doesn't need the same schedule for services every week. She lets the caregiver carry out a few light duties and then lets her go for the day. So she's usually there for 1-2 hours. I just need to check in with them and make sure the caregiver has the whole scheduled time slot committed to my loved one's care and doesn't make other outside commitments. A couple of times there have been some scheduling updates, and we found out about them through the caregiver and not the agency. I feel it's more professional if that communication comes from their office, and it was my understanding that our contract was set up that way. But in the end, we received the updates without issue, so all worked out okay. I really like our caregiver, and my loved one likes her as well. So she's been perfect for us, and we've been very happy.

I use this agency to come in my parents home to help them out. They will cook for them and do some light housekeeping. They come every day for 5 hours a day one caregiver is 3 days a week the other 4 days a week. They seem to be always on time. The communication by text is nice for any updates. They will drive them to the store if they need to go. I would recommend this agency.

Overall, I feel that Synergy has been very good. We have had a couple of miscommunications where people from the company call asking for another client. However, the people are great, and they always arrive on time. We've mostly been using Synergy for doctors appointments, and it's been working really well for us so far. We're certainly happy enough.

The office of the care service was in a convenient location for me since it is nearby where I live. My loved one receives care once a week from the staff members and they are great. They are friendly, capable, communicative, knowledgeable, and nice people. They would occasionally cook for her when needed. They would make my loved one an egg for breakfast or a sandwich for lunch. Once in a while they would take her to Mcdonald’s too. Every week, they would take my loved one to her hair appointment which was nice. The staff team is very flexible. I would recommend this scare service to others; however one drawback at the home is trying to get in touch with the director. They were in the process of changing locations for their office so it has been really shaky trying to get ahold of them. However, other than that the care service that they provide to my love one has been great.

My wife and I really like this agency. They have several caretakers come out and help my wife. They have all been very professional they come prepared and do what is asked and needed of them. They are friendly and patient. Not at any time has an appointment been missed or has had to be rescheduled. We would recommend them

The help has been really good. They have been over a few times to help my parents. The initial meeting they talked about needs and what kind of schedule works for their needs. The agency was willing to work with us. This has been a great service for our family especially since we are out of town.
