You can't compare this facility with others that offer meals and dining - as well as care. None of that is offered here. My overall experience at Sage is good. There are lots of activities, but many of them are resident generated and sponsored. Cost probably in line with other places that don't offer meals. You need to be active and take care of yourself to live here. Many things are out of the community manager's control. The Amberlin is truly independent living-there are no meals or transportation service. They do promote community by hosting some events, and there are exercise classes. It's a better for for those which still drive or have someone who will provide transportation, and who still shop for their own groceries and other essentials. It's not a good fit for those who need extra assistance unless the resident has made arrangements of their own for that care. The community feels secure, with gated parking, front doors locked after 5 pm, and all mother doors only accessible with a resident key fob. The amenities are nice and well maintained.

The meals receive a 1 because there are no meals Now that I have experienced apartment living and I know what I need/expect. I enjoy the people but I ideally would like 24 hour staff so medical people can be let into the facility and expect staff to do a Wellness check when asked and know homeless people take refuge by our outdoor mailboxes. My complaints would be that management doesn't follow through on complaints. And, the new grandchild swimming pool rules. For example -mon-fri/11-1pm only. No Sat. Sun, 1-5. The pool is not over used at any time so many grandparents who were promised open swimming are disappointed. Since I plan to live at the Amberlin for a while, i prefer my name not be published

We chose Sage Highland Creek because it was very clean, the facility is in a good area, the apartment is spacious and it is all for a good price. They are in and out of the office a lot. Sometimes hard to get ahold of on the phone.

Cleanliness is a 4 only because the windows on the upper floors are dirty by elevators and it looks bad. They also need some devote there. The entrance is pristine. Quality of care - 1. they have a ramp into the pool for handicap. But it's still extremely difficult to get out of the pool for handicap people they should have a lift., 2. Talking to Management over a week ago we asked for something to be put on the bars going down the ramp because they are so hot. They're burning your hands if you're trying to get in the pool while you're handicapped. We were assured that Maintenance would be contacted right away because they do have coverings to put on the bars, but as of yesterday over a week later, there was still nothing covering the bars. 3. The elevator on the second building is constantly breaking down. Since the move-in [date removed], the elevator has been closed and unusable three times. 4. I think a survey should be sent out to the residence to ask them. What the best times would be to have events. It seems as if there are a lot of different times where people are not able to attend. 5. If you are wheelchair bound, and if you have an Amazon box come in, often it's put in the top lockers where it's unreachable for somebody who is handicapped.) Food: I am unable to write food because they don't really have food there unless there is a potluck or something so I'm not able to write Activities- it seems like there are a lot of nice activities, but the times are not always workable and that's why I suggested a survey for the residence to fill out on times. Suggestion, however, a lot of residents don't seem to want to get together because a lot of the events include alcohol or it seems like the event is revolving around alcohol, so it would be better if the event of revolved around something else but then alcohol is available people can bring their own. I feel the value for the one bedroom is good, especially with all of the amenities. However, getting into the larger units I feel it's a little bit overpriced for an apartment.

I love the people here. I would only move if the price got too high or I could no longer drive necessitating a move to independent living at that point.They were better when I moved in but the number of activities for our community fee keeps dwindling.

Everyone I have met have been very helpful and welcoming to the community. There are a variety of social activities for all and being among others and staying active helps with your mental and physical wellbeing. Solei is located in a great location with restaurants and shopping nearby. Also medical offices and hospitals nearby, important entities when you age. I am 74 and glad I decided to make this move. This is not a place for sedentary lifestyle, this is a Place for living.

What our family likes the most about the community is the staff. The staff treats us like we matter. Everyone is one big family. There is always something going on to do. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

With the care services - there is no care given, this is true independent living, there is also food provided. Amenities are great, beautiful outdoor area. It's a new community so they are still establishing programming, but it's been fun for my mom and she loves the outdoor area. There's no concierge or front desk to call if you have problems, so it's not for those who may need occasional assistance.

It's cean, friendly and active. However, the significant rent increase after the first year's lease drove me and several other previous residents away. I picked this community, because of the staff, safety, new, cleanliness, location, and special move-in incentives. Storage limitations and parking are significant drawbacks for Luxe at Cedar Hill. Also, all resident parking spaces should include assigned covered parking spaces.

It's been fantastic. Overall, the people are nice. You feel like you're living in a hotel. It's a new apartment, and it fits the needs that I have. Overall, I would recommend to others.

1. Good 2. Exceptional 3. Good 4. This is independent living so there is no care to rate. 5. There is no food. These are independent apartments. The one complaint I do have is that there is not enough parking for guests. I go see my mom 3 times a week and there is no parking. 6. They have plenty of great activities. 7. It is definitely on the expensive side but the protection in place is great. Sadly you can't get deliveries because it is a fortress. Just know that there is limited guest parking and none of the delivery drivers can find the place. Good luck order a pizza because they can not get it. The security rocks though, no one can get in without a fob.

Our experience with The Lakes at Grand Prairie was wonderful. [Name removed] was so helpful and patient. My loved one loves it here. The staff is great to work with. They don't serve meals here though.

I would certainly tell a friend. The community is in A very safe area, super clean neighborhood , good central location to necessity like pharmacy, groceries, restaurants and gas stations. The community itself is the same. Super Clean, modern updated units. Nice people and staff beautiful common areas like the pool, club house area and other activities like the library and movie room. As far as improvements from a seniors perspective: some form of free shuttle transportation to close by stores for necessary things like food and pharmacy needs. The other improvement I notice is the payment portal to pay rent and other fees. Portal on community computer charges a high transaction fee ($50) to pay rent. Don't think most residents use that portal.

It has been a pretty good experience. My loved one is in an exterior apartment, and the walk outside can be challenging because of her age and also because the yard doesn't have a sidewalk. But that's really our only complaint. The community itself is great. The amenities are great. And the staff is very good.

This community was okay and it was a nice place but it was not the same amenities as another community that I found but it was around the same price. They also did not have a lot of activities and I wanted to make sure that my loved one had a lot to do.

It's ok. I picked this community because of the location, price, activities. Personnel, and the look of the area.

My parents moved from there because there was too much crime. People's cars were getting broken into all the time. They also felt like the building wasn't made great. They could hear all the above Neighbors footsteps. They also said that they let people live there who weren't of age, and one of them had a drug lab in the apartment that got busted.
