Abode Care of Monroeville is an excellent and very welcoming facility. The staff is kind, professional, and creates a comfortable environment for everyone. I highly recommend this facility.

Excellent customer service! I was looking for home health care for my mom, and the staff took the time to explain the services they offer. They were very helpful, informative, and made the process much easier. I truly appreciate their kindness and professionalism.

When my brother entered Abode, he was withdrawn, didn't want to get dressed or get up, and slept most of the day, depressed. He is now up the first thing in the morning, dressed and ready. He's made 3 friends. He engages in the activities and says he loves it there and doesn't want to move. The staff are always willing to help, answer any questions or concerns. The facility is very clean and well maintained.

My Mother [Name removed] came to Abode at age 98 after living in her home for 68 years and was extremely difficult and depressed. When it came to the point where she could not be safely left alone she became a resident of Abode, and the last two years of her life were the happiest I had seen her in 20 years. She loved the staff, food and the other residents who she called her home. It is a very difficult for a loved to have to go to a Personal Care Home, which for years[Name Removed] resisted. But I can assure her going to Abode, not only as I said was the happiest I saw her in years ,but also I was assured that she was safe. It wasn't the things they had to do that makes Abode special, but the things they don't have to do that makes them special, i.e. they gave my Mom a wonderful 100th Birthday party, the Christmas Parties and the genuine care and concern that the staff shows their residents. I researched many facilities, and it is my highest recommendation for providers of real caring, concern.

My mom loves living here! They have scheduled activities throughout the day and they also host events for the outside community. Caretakers have been there for a really long time and they know the residents by name. The food is amazing!! I frequently eat dinner with my mom and love it. They are given two options for every meal and also get snacks. This is a great place for your loved one to live if you want to be treated like family and have a lot of things to do.

I toured Abode, not only is it a beautiful facility for your loved ones but the care is just as great! The staff truly goes above n beyond for the residents. You will not be disappointed.

The staff is very helpful and on top of things. There are plenty of activities everyday and holiday parties. There is a beautiful courtyard to sit in and it is pet friendly! They are in the process of remodeling the facility.

The atmosphere at this facility is so warm and welcoming, and the management staff, nurses, and aides are very attentive and compassionate. i can not say enough about the atrium…my mom has been living there for a year in memory lane…the facility is beautiful and feels like home…the rooms are spacious…it’s very clean…my mom loves the food!!! the staff, which feels like family, is amazing!! but my big shout out goes to director of activities. i honestly can’t thank anyone enough there for their hard work and dedication to the residents, i don’t know how they do it! love you all so much!

Looking at places for my Mom and decided to stop by Abode Care. I was greeted by a friendly face which was nice. I then asked for the Director and meet the Executive Director who put all my fears to rest. I would only trust my Mom to stay at Abode Care of Allentown because of this compassionate human!
