Our only complaint is with the care services, and we are not sure if it is the staff themselves or our loved one being difficult but sometimes we are unsure how much our loved one is getting bather. However the staff are bringing back the activities and encouraging the residents to get involved again.

The staff seem to really take ownership over what they are doing and the different care levels for the residents they are caring or. We have had previous experiences at many different communities and it is the complete opposite. We would recommend Walnut Creek community to anybody in the country, put this place first on your list if you live in this area or around the area. We do not believe there would be one person dissatisfied, this place stands so for above it is almost to good to be true

It is a great place but it is expensive. They do have nursing fees that are separate from the apartment/room fees. It was higher than expected.

Our family had an in person tour and it had a really nice upbeat feel to it, it seemed like a really active environment we saw a lot of staff and residents engaging with each other. It is also more fancy then other communities we checked out.

We had a good experience overall. It was a nice and friendly place. The admissions process was easy. They were able to take us on short notice, and everything went smoothly. They were not always as attentive to incontinence issues as I would have liked, but the care was still really good.

I toured Oak Hill Terrace and used to have clients here, I really like it! there's always lots of things going on. I chose another community because I'm younger than their average resident age, we didn't think it would be a good fit for me.

This is a wonderful community for you or your loved one. My loved one was at two communities prior and she should have been here. This community was outstanding for her. The staff here were great and excellent everything at this community was perfect. I really wish we would have found it sooner for my loved one.

The staff are extremely helpful and very accommodating to all of our needs. The room is big and it was very clean and prior to moving in they made sure that everything was all set and that my loved one was comfortable. They were very informative on the tour and I felt very comfortable speaking with them. They provided all that I needed during the tour.

My loved one loves it here and loves the activities provided. It has been a rough transition due to the new ownership. Overall it is good and I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. My loved one thinks the food is good. Some of the activities enjoyed by loved one include exercise group, drives around town, baking, and more.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The caring nature of the staff, the community being bright and clean all stand out to me. The activities are excellent that they have available for the residents. My loved one is enjoying the food.

It has been really great overall. The staff is wonderful. The only problem we've had is our loved one started out in a furnished room and then moved to an unfurnished room. And in that new room, they've had problems getting her phone hooked up. But they're working on it. And everything else has been great. She loves doing the crafts and exercises. She's eating and looking better. It was not easy to get her moved in there - she was VERY resistant. At times she still wishes she was home, but she know she needs to be there. And it has meant a lot that she can have her cat there with her.

[Name removed] was very professional and a wonderful Community Resource Director! She worked very closely with us to get our mother into the Pines. She was always so pleasant and so sweet!! She even came in on a Sunday so [name removed] was able to see the room, since he lives in Minnesota. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about [name removed]! Moving one's mom into an assisted living home is a very emotional thing but [name removed] helped us to feel loved, listened to, and knowing that we were leaving our mom in wonderful hands. Thank you [name removed]!!!

This community was okay. My mom likes to walk and be outside a lot so the location is important when it comes to the community. The community also did not have the right feeling that I was looking for. It kind of felt like a nursing home. They gave us lots of information on the tours , it was a great tour but it was just not the right place for my loved one.

Dad seems to like it there. He does activities every day. Other than complaining about the food not having any seasoning, he's made a lot of friends up there, and he says everybody is really nice. And as long as he's happy, we're happy!

So far the experience has been great and we are very happy with them. It is a great value for the money and the staff really worked with us in the beginning. I would highly recommend Lorain Estates to other families.

We chose Willow Fork because of the price point for the level of care that was provided. The memory care units seem to have a lot of different levels of care, they do a great job tailoring and understanding each different level. I have not been able to visit much due to covid, but the times I have been there they do a great job redirecting people who are having issues. The ones who do not have any issues, they do a really good job engaging with them. The care is very personalized based on your needs.

This was a great place, I wish that I had found it sooner for my loved one. I would recommend Floral Creek to anyone that is able to afford outside care. The chef here has pheromonal food to provide for the residents. They do participate with Veteran's assistance.

I am in the real estate business working with senior communities as my clients are mostly older adults who would move into these same communities. My father passed away, and my mother was now alone after her 63 year marriage to my dad. She was shy and quiet and worried about settling into senior living coming from their condominium. She lived their almost 5 years, and was always received the care she deserved, Her apartment was so nice, and offered all of the amenities she desired. As her health deteriorated, she move to assisted living, and never had to leave her apartment. That meant everything to us. She lived a great life, almost 96 years, and was the last of her generation in our family. Thank you to all at Laurel Oaks who gave my mother the kindness and treatment she so deserved. Thank you for all you did to make our family comfortable knowing that mom was in good hands, Most thankfully, Bruce Nemovitz

Our family likes the facility for our loved one. It has more of a home-like feeling and doesn't feel as institutional as some places. The person we've talked to that helped us get her moved in was very helpful. We haven't really had any negatives so far.

I was very impressed with Broadway Creek. We showed up for our tour at 9AM and I was shocked by the amount of residents that were up and dressed and they all looked very clean. I liked that if you are here for a couple of years and run out of money, you are able to stay. The person giving the tour was very honest and thorough. The facility itself was smaller and when you walk in it smells great.
