I left my home and came here for security and help with activities that my body makes difficult. I like the friendship that is here. The food is very good, and is a variety. I have been here for 3 months

I've lived here almost 10 years and I feel like I'm in my home with great friends. In an emergency the staff responded quickly. It made me feel safe. I was there myself.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance and cleaning personal are great, front desk staff is great and always helpful.

I have lived here for 7 plus years. The staff is very hard working and try to help and please. Many things have changed since I first moved here. The vending machines where you could get some essentials is gone and the bank that used to visit so you could get change is also gone. There are trips to Pick & Save but sometimes its difficult to make the trip both for me, others and occasionally the van! The food seemed better 7 years ago but my taste buds were too. It's a little hard to make friends - here one day gone the next - but I'm sure it's the same all over. I really appreciate having Mass provided and [name removed] tries real hard.

I found Farmington Square when I needed a bit more than just assisted living for my friend. He had been in a different facility for almost 2 years, then he got sick and needed additional help once he recovered, but they were unable to provide it. So we searched other facilities and were pleased with what F S offered. They have different levels of care and separate buildings for each unit. The units are small with a a small amount of residents in them, which means more one on one care for each person there. In the beginning he needed more care and help but as his health progressed he was more independent. Altho mostly in a wheelchair he seems to get around fairly well. It’s clean , neat and inviting, food is good, Altho only one main meal choice, with substitutes mostly consisting of sandwiches. I like the place and would tell anyone to check it out and compare, then make your own choice. Cost varies above the room rent, depends on the amount of care and time they give the resident.

Staff are very friendly and are responsive to requests of needs. The smaller population is a much better fit for our mom. She is aware it is not her house but has adjusted very well. Mom has made a few friends there and does participate in some of the activities. As the residents there have different levels of dementia it is enlightening to see the interaction with staff and the residents. It is good that there are only 16 residents in the building, this allows more attention to the residents needs. My advise to family members, they need to keep in contact with the facility and your family member that way you are also aware of their needs and concerns. The staff need to know who family members are and that you are most concerned that your love one is getting the care they need. For our mom Farmington Square - Salem has been a very good choice.

Liked this facility but decided that it was more of a social facility than a medical one. We felt like we needed access to more medical assistance than this provides.

[Name removed] seems to be doing a great job. Chef [name removed] and his team always have a very nice Thanksgiving for the residents and families. Wish the happy hour was more of a social gathering BEFORE dinners, with specialty drinks. Wish my loved one would go on outings. The reception desk has great staff. The facility is nice and clean. Activity schedules lots of changes and what happened to popcorn in the theater?

The caregivers seem to truly care about the residents. Management and staff have been very receptive to any concerns we have in the care of my mother. We thank them for taking very good care of her.

They require six months of self-pay. The Medicaid Direct rooms have a waiting list.

I enjoyed my visit. The facility had a few different features than the others. I'm sure I will visit again with my brother when we make our final decision.

I really liked the facility. I feel it would be good fit for my mother in law. Probably my first Choice of what I have seen.

I thought this was a nice place. That wall colors were light with a earthy tone to it. They have projects for the residences to do and the room that I looked at didn't have any smell to it. I saw a few RN's there. Not sure if I want to put dad that far away from where he is used to,

Rittenhouse has been a great place for my mom. She gets good care. I feel like the workers truly love her. They care for her like she is their own family.

My mother's been thriving since moving here from another facility earlier this year. She has become more social and involved in activities here and her mood is much more upbeat. Our family is glad that we have found Rittenhouse as her home during her later years.
