This is a wonderful facility. Very clean and safe place. Staff is very nice! Good size room. My mom likes the bingo and the movies. Cannot say enough good things about the staff of Elan!

The facility was clean and the staff was kind and cheerful. Mother was in a studio. She did not take part in activities as she was not steady on her feet. Later she was bed bound.

The activities director could do a lot more with the residents. They could do better about getting the residents to the few activities they do have. Really like the apartment layout. Works well.

We really like that the GoodLife Senior Living community has a homey feel to it and is welcoming. It does not give off that cold nursing home feel at all. We also really like that family and friends can come visit at any point whether is early in the morning or late at night - no appointments or scheduling needed. Families can also come to the community and cook and invite however many people they want - the community is very open like that. The friendliness of the staff was great when our loved one first moved in but with the turnover and new staffing coming and going sometimes it just depends. The meals and dining services seem to be okay. We do think the staff could improve on their documentation and communication to the families - when a loved one falls sometimes it does not get reported or communicated back to the families.

The interaction with the staff was great. The value for the money was good. It was a plesant experience, and they were very helpful. I picked this place because of the friendliness, amentities, food, and size of the apartments.

The employees that work in assisted living are super friendly - memory care employees were not as friendly. I would tell others to make sure you provide them a 30 day written notice if you are going to be moving your loved one out. I reached out to Brookdale for information I needed to help find a new home for my relative and no one ever responded.

When we pulled up to Brookdale it definitely looked more nursing home-like. We walked in and the inside looked better, but first impressions are everything. It was a nice tour and the staff were great. The assisted living was just a room and we were looking for a more apartment type style living. It was just not the right fit for my loved one.

My parent has been a resident of Inspired Living since early 2021. They were great at the beginning, but we have seen a decline over the last few months. They have had a large turnover of upper management, cleaning staff, wait staff, etc. I suppose it is what everyone is going through around here. The kitchen staff is less than stellar as the food is not cooked with care or any level of spice so is very bland. The food is burned, or undercooked and some food items are "out" when they could run across the street to Tom Thumb and stock up. Nursing staff is new, seem over-burdened.

Our family had an in person tour and at the time we were looking for independent living and Brookdale only offers assisted living and memory care. The managers and sales lady were just super and have continued to stay in touch with me. Whenever our loved one needs more assistance we will come back to check out Brookdale.

It is hard to get the meals on time. Most of the people in memory care get cold food because of the wait time. I would suggest really hard that when you come and inspect that you ask about meals and on time meals. Especially if your loved one is going into memory care. I think that there also needs to be better training among the teams. It is a good place to stay if you are in the assisted living part of the community. The hospice personnel are great and amazing.

I would tell others that this is a nice place. The staff are very nice. They don't have any activities currently, and it would be nice to have them available for the residents. It feels more like a nursing home than assisted living. Some of the residents are wearing their masks in the wrong fashion.

The cleanliness is not very consistent especially in our loved ones room, they have to be reminded very often. The staff seems to be friendly for the most part as we are coming and going, but they do not give you much information regarding any updates. The meals are starchy, sometimes healthy but no salads and the portion sizes are off. When it comes to the activities there is little stimulation and interaction, it is a lot of sitting down. Whether that is doing puzzles, listening to music, watching TV or reading.

Very nice facility. Seems to be understaffed. Has a brand new manager. Very interested if they plan to hire more workers. Previous employees have complained of being overworked and too many hours.

This community does change help quite often, especially the managers and even the care givers. From our understanding the care services are good, unfortunately this community does not have any activities. However, the rooms are good, they would be a five out of five, but the food would be a three out of five.

They are still under construction so after talking to a construction worker I was directed to the trailer on the corner of 3040 and Ace. The temporary drive is a gravel road and you turn in on Ace where the sandbag has been placed to mark the spot. There's nothing to tour yet, but I got the floor plans and prices. It's the perfect location for my mom but may be too expensive. It was only my third place to look into and I'll go tour it when they are ready in a few weeks.

When I toured this community I didn't get that great vibe feeling it was to much like a traditional nursing home. Not lively at all. It needed updating it was kind of bland. It was nice and clean. The staff answered all my questions. What I observed was it needed more staff and they were lacking activities.

For the most part, things are going well. We have had some trouble with the billing, the financial lady that was there before is no longer there. Also, the medication has not always been correct but we are hoping all of that will be fixed soon. The meals are a little bland, they have options but they are not always very good. The place is clean and everyone is very friendly, but they have some improvements to make.

The community was really good, I am just not sure if this location understood what respite care was suppose to be. The room was not particularly ready for a respite stay. I had to move things in to make my mom feel comfortable. It seemed like they threw something together. They had what we liked, one level, small with a courtyard. They were kind and good to my mom. The food was good. She did some activities but prefers more intellectual activities, No one could play bridge with her. They had simple activities like bingo and bible study. She really enjoyed that. The doctor suggested physical therapy and a podiatrist would be good for her. We sent paper work to get started in a timely matter but nothing happened while she was there. They are caring staff and nothing was wrong with the care she got. I was looking for a furnished room, they are geared toward long term care. I don't think they should advertise respite if they do not understand how it works.

Meals are nutritious, the taste is okay they are a bit blend. One of things that i didn't really like was that the caring staff was not taking care of my loved one's hygiene needs. The staff does invite them to play bingo and participate in bible study. On the weekends they are really understaffed it gets really hectic when the staff have to help serve meals. They have to take time from the other residents needing help in the rooms.

My dad had his phone stolen by a staff member here and from what it looks like they are going through staff changes. We are still working on this issues and I also did not like being told that someone will take my dad to an appointment but actually do not have a staff member to accompany him. I think the care was okay.

I toured here when I was looking around, as well as a few other Brookdale communities. I did choose a Brookdale, though not this one. This was was a little bit on the depressing side to me.

I had actually visited this facility on Friday and had inadvertently made an appointment on Saturday however I did show up on Saturday but I'm pretty sure nobody was expecting me. I did get to visit with the nutrition director on Saturday and she gave me a quick walk-through again. It is a very nice facility in the staff are very kind however it is got some years on it and you can tell that from the scratches on the walls. The dining room is acceptable but not a focal place....in fact it really doesn't have a focal place the entranceway and reception areas rather small. I would give it a 5 1/2 on my scale ten.
