We tried 2 other places but were dissatisfied. We found Sedona Winds, which has turned out to be the best facility we could want. My wife has dementia and has received very good care. Love this place.

My mother in law was given excellent care in her final 2 weeks of life. Wish she could have been there sooner.

Good-Except for housekeeping crew walking halls. Cleaning carts left in halls for hours. Poor services.

Ventana Winds is awesome, and I love being here. All the nurses are the best, and the caregivers are really nice. They care!

Canyon Winds is truly one of a kind. My mom has been a resident for 4 years now. We couldn't be happier. The staff feels like family. They keep her busy with fun activities. The facility feels more like a luxury hotel.

My father used to live in independent living for three months with his dog before finally transferring at [removed]. I simply cannot say enough good things about this location. It's a sophisticated, lovely location with exquisitely tasteful apartments. The entire team is outstanding! The chef is excellent. The locals have all embraced my father and made him feel incredibly welcome. It is wonderful to have people around him who are aware of his speech difficulties and make an effort to include and converse with him. The staff and residents are greatly appreciated!

My Aunt is living in Desert winds assisted living, [name removed] takes such wonderful care of her, always listens to what she has to say, she is so patient with her, she cares to all of her needs, and is all around such an amazing quality person and her work should not be left unseen. She works so hard at her job and my Aunt has told me the management staff is lacking. I hope everyone gets the chance to meet [name removed] and how wonderful she is to the community.

This is not your average review. I'm now in an assisted living community and honestly, I LOVE IT! Instead of waiting for a disaster to strike, I decided to pick my future home while I was still able to pack my old one. I wanted to design my own future. In ding so, I had to downsize (unload a lot of stuff) hold garage sales, sell the car, cancel my homeowner's insurance after splurging on a big "Going Away" party. Yes, change is scary, yet it can be better than whatever you're struggling with now. What I mean is; here all the meals are cooked, rooms cleaned, laundry done for me, while I'm taking my time strolling through the Garden which is appropriately named the Garden of Dreams. (G.O.D.) Once I got settled, it didn't take time getting to know my neighbors. Each day I choose to join in some activities, or rest and head in the quiet of my room. Along with freedom I enjoy a strong sense of security living here because we truly have a caring staff (24/7).

it was very hard to leave my husband with stranger at first, but it took no time for me to see that Canyon Winds is a caring and safe environment for him. Everyone there goes the extra mile to care for their residents

It's been a wonderful transition for Mom into Assisted Living. Everyone has welcomed her with open arms! She is constantly telling us how much she likes being there and she truly raves about how much they care for her

Caregivers-kind of slow has a bad personality. Med techs are good. Kitchen-ok, entrée not always good entrée.

My stay here has been pleasant and my overall care is good.

This is a loving, caring, ethical asset to our community. I wish there were clones of CWAL everywhere in this country. I have never seen a place with such a concentration of people who care about older people in the most beautiful way.

After much research in NX PHX AZ area we found Chaparral Winds in Surprise AZ. Well managed and staffed, gourmet chef food, excellent chorus, choice of planned activities (optional) a staff who care about you. Come and see for yourself
