Green Acres is a very big improvement from our last facility! They are doing a great job! So happy she is there! I don't worry about anything now that my mom is at Green Acres. They are responsive and see my Mom several times every day! She is much happier here.

The tour was good and all of the staff went out of their way to be friendly. But this facility looked dated and I just felt claustrophobic. It was not the right fit.

Happy employees = Happy customers and family members. First hand have watched the staff go above and beyond for the people who live there. My Mom needed care and our neighbors highly recommended Green Acres. From the home visit with their nurse, the admission process with administrator, and the daily care I've witnessed; I wish we wouldve made this move sooner. Not all are the same. Go take a tour, you will see why Green Acres is our only recommendation.

I have been nothing but impressed with Green Acres. My loved one has lived here in the memory unit for over a year and in every aspect the staff is attentive and kind. The facility has always helped us understand and comply with HIPAA laws as they apply to my loved one, to help preserve her privacy and dignity. Communication between the facility and the guardians is superb. I really like the way the staff physician and nurses work with my loved one's outside doctor and psych nurse to provide complete care. My loved one is comfortable at Green Acres. The food is homemade and tasty and the rooms are quite spacious. The common area is inviting and warm, not at all clinical, which was a big plus in choosing a facility. I also really like how small and cozy this facility is. It feels like family here and meets all of our expectations for our loved one.

Our mother lived at Nottingham Place in Midland, MI during her final month of life. We regret not moving her here sooner. The care she received was wonderful, tailored specifically to her needs, and providing dignity. The entire staff also provided kind, caring support and education on dementia and end of life expectations for our family. We would recommend Nottingham Place to any family with a loved one experiencing dementia.

We visited this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This seemed like a very nice place, overall! The staff were friendly and caring, the facility was clean, and the food looked very good! Unfortunately it was also fairly expensive, and not in the price range we were looking for.

We're very pleased with how things have gone at Green Acres. It is a nice looking, clean facility, and the staff we've worked with have all been friendly and professional. We're completely satisfied so far.

Personnel were very friendly and answered all my questions. Took a tour of the facility, very clean, large hallways, apartments very homey. Pleased with my visit.

This is from my perspective...however since my 96 year old mother is checking herself out Friday...against my wishes...she would give a different point of view. She wanted to go home and took very little part of any activities, so it's hard to judge that. From what I observed from the calendar, there were plenty of opportunities to take part. I do have a complaint about the communication. The chestnut address is on all of their stationery...but that is not the address of my Mother's building. Getting a phone hooked up, paper delivered caused a delay because no one had the other address. I contacted the director of all the facilities, but he wasn't too sympathetic.

They will call me and let me know when things are going on, I was really impressed with that. The food is pretty good, she seems pretty pleased with it. They need a more parking. The cleanliness was top notch and I liked the overall look, it was like a little village.

It's very clean, it was virtually brand new. They do have activities going on but she doesn't participate much. She loves the food, the food is good. I can't think of anything to be improved. They are really good!

Green Acres in Mt Pleasant is a great fit for my mother. The manager is a very friendly caring person and the staff could not be nicer. The day my mother moved in they came and escorted her to her first meal and made sure she was introduced to everyone and made her feel very welcome. Whenever someone has gone to visit her Mom has a huge smile on her face and seems very happy and content. All of her wall hangings were hung promptly and where she wanted them. The move in process was very smooth and all of the paperwork was well organized and readily available and all was in order. It has been an awesome experience and we could not be happier than we are with this choice of facilities.

Absolutely loved this place. Took Mom in and she felt right at home. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. All were ready and willing to answer all questions.

We are really happy with Nottingham Place. They offer a more personal touch then other communities and our loved one is really happy here. It does not feel like an institution and really have a home like feeling. We would highly recommend Nottingham Place to anyone.

This place seem to have the most for what we were looking for.

My mother lived in the memory care unit here and we had a great overall experience with them. I was a little concerned with the level of attentiveness of the staff at times. For example, she needs someone to provide water/drinks for her and give her the initiative to drink it, otherwise she will go without. At times she was a bit dehydrated. Otherwise, the community is fabulous! It is very nice, open, and colorful with lots of windows -- a great atmosphere. It is not drab or hospital-like at all. It is a relatively new community, so they are still growing. I would say it would be a great place to go!

It's almost perfect, we're just waiting for a few things to get worked out, they have to get the medications to the patients quicker. They have a policy where it has to be within a certain time frame and they have some new systems in place now, they have a med cart where medications are bubble wrapped and scanned when they are given to the residents and some other systems that will make an improvement to that situation. They have an excellent policy where if there's any kind of argument or disagreement, management visits with the people involved and finds a means to resolve the issue. Elderly people are like little children, they raised us and now we're raising them. There are meetings with the residents and then meetings with the family, they have family get togethers and an excellent crafts person that directs them. Amber, the regional manager there does an excellent job, the onsite management lady, Carrie, is wonderful too but if she needs to, Amber comes back in and gets invovled.

This looked like a nice community when I visited. They seemed to offer some nice amenities and activities. This community was a little more expensive than what we were looking for.

This is a beautiful facility with a feel of home. The staff is wonderful. My parents are still acclimating to the change. The increase social aspect is a great change for my mother, as is the increased activity. I feel very fortunate to have found this "place for Mom ...and Dad!" The only issue I think could be improved is the menu.

I have been so grateful for Green Acres!!! It has taken a lot of pressure off from me knowing my mother is getting such great care! I wish there would have been more detail given verbally and in paper form regarding day to care, activities and procedures. We were told that the toilet paper was to be provided but it has not been done on a regular basis so we have resorted to buying our own. I also wonder how much my mother is being engaged in the activities they provide. Besides those couple of things I have been overall very happy to have found Green Acres and would highly recommend it to others.
