My sister entered Linden Village for more security. She had dementia and liked to wander outside. The assistants in her cabin were very patient and took time to really get to know the residents. The activities director was creative with music, crafts and exercise.

I would recommend the facility. The move in process was good. The staff is friendly and the housekeeping is very tidy.

The facility is short staffed. The food is not great. Personal items are lost consistently. Sometimes interaction between patients and staff is curt and not sensitive. Activities are an afterthought. They due minimum without trying to engage for participation. No creative efforts. This is one of the better facilities. Staff needs a little TLC training on top of the tactical work

The model room we were shown bears little resemblance to the rooms we were offered upon move in. Dated wallpaper border, shop worn furniture, floor molding in bathroom broken and poorly patched. The floor was sticky and the room had an odd odor. Move in was during a management change which may account for a lack of specific scheduling info....the move in packet needs more info ___laundry day, shower days, that bathing products can be provided, meal times. The food preferences form? Specified regular coffee, only decaf provided. The info on when doctors and nurses visit is unclear. You must choose from a list or provide your own MD, but have found it difficult to actually CALL mom's doctor. Or PA. Weekend night staff...light

Everyone is friendly and I am happy that [name removed] has made a smooth adjustment. He is always with a group and not alone watching TV or sitting in his room which makes me happy. (The opportunity for stimulation was the main reason I moved him to Arden Courts.) I like the variety of activities listed on the calendar and still want to come and participate. I totally enjoy many of the other residents who are friendly and often smile!

I recently had the opportunity to witness some notable changes taking place at Arden Courts under the new leadership of Director [name removed]. My mother has been a resident here for the past seven years. The experience has been nothing short of transformative, both for the residents and their families. She has brought a fresh and innovative perspective to the facility, challenging the status quo in order to enhance the quality of life for those in her care. From the moment you step through the doors, it's evident that a positive and energizing shift is underway. She is intent on improving the overall well-being of the residents. While these changes have undoubtedly been positive, it's essential to acknowledge that transitions of this magnitude can be challenging for both residents and their families. She has navigated these challenges with grace and compassion. She has implemented open communication channels, actively seeking feedback and addressing concerns promptly.

Warm, kind community who lead with patience and empathy. I choose this community because they put memory care at the forefront. Creating an environment that best suited my mom.

It's great. Everyone is friendly and will help or find someone to help you. After reviewing all the options I weighed factors like cleanliness, best buck for your money, food and amenities for 4 different places. Lely kept being #1.

Inprocessing was easy, it took about 2 weeks for her to settle in . Since then, she's been pretty much at ease. Because she can't really talk, it's been difficult to care for, so I'm really reliant on the staff to identify her needs and then do something about them. So she has an up to date set of clothes. I've had no concerns about her personal cleanliness, as the staff seems to be prompt at changing her underwear. While she's unable to fully participate in activities, they seem successful at including her. Staff has been remarkably helpful in buying her clothing she needs. They have used their personal funds to buy her clothes. They have been prompt at notifying me when she's fallen, and have appropriately sent her to emergency rooms. She can't feed herself, so they've seemingly been good at keeping her nourished.

We picked this community because of the responses, cost, and it looked in better condition. I would recommend to others.

Staff from every department are willing to pitch in and help residents. They are always smiling and ready to step in and assist. I’ve witnessed the janitor stop to help someone when they looked like they needed assistance.

The best comment I can make is that the staff at Arden Courts of Largo are WONDERFUL! They are caring and loving and know everyone by name. They also keep loved ones as informed or uninformed as you wish to be. This facility is a bit older than the other one we visited, but that gives it a charm and warm homelike feeling; less corporate and institutional. Their procedures however are top-notch. The landscaping and garden areas are beautiful! And the Montessori interior spaces are very well appointed. They help residents and visitors understand where they are in the building.

They really try to keep residents engaged and active. It's a good place for keeping seniors active. The atmosphere is positive and the facility is very nice.

Our mother/resident appears to be comfortable and well-cared for. Of course, we don't have many other facilities to compare our current experience to. Arden Courts staff are friendly, well trained and treats all residents in a respectful professional manner. We are fortunate the facility is so convenient to both my sister and me so we can spend quality time with our mother.

I would tell a friend to keep looking. We picked this community because they were able to attend to the medical needs of my loved one.

They need to find a way to keep people from going uninvited into others' rooms. We picked this community because of they had space available, and it was welcoming.

My family member seems happy and well taken care of. We picked this community, because they specialize in Memory Care and came recommended by your service. Location was convenient as well.

I am unable to rate the meals and dining service since I never saw the meals and hubby could not rate them. Cannot rate with the activities since I did not see any. However, my daughter went the next day to pay them and saw a note on the door stating Respiratory Issues. Came down with severe cough and other symptoms that needed physician care and medication. Hubby had a cough, lost weight and was extremely weak. Had a hard time walking with a walker. He was there 10 days for Respite care.

My father has been at Arden Court since the end of February this year. His mental decline due to Alzheimers has been a long and very challenging journey. Prior to joining the Arden Court community my Dad was in a so called memory care facility that was not capable of handling his needs. The previous facilities did not understand or have the training to support the challenges that go with dementia confusion. Arden Court has been a bright spot in Dad's care. He joined the community in a weak physical state because of mismanagement in the other facility, with hospital, rehab and long term acute care facilities as well. Within a month, Dad was walking freely around the community. He is in a constant state of confusion, but the staff at Arden Court are trained to support him. The facility is bright, clean, the food is good and served at appropriate times and the staff is cheerful and supportive. Dad's life will never be perfect again but Arden Court is managing his confusion.

This seems to be a good place for someone with dementia but no serious health problems. For someone like my husband who needs extra care not so much. It was close to home. The facility is attractive and well kept with activities planned. They said they could take care of my husband's needs and help him with his daily needs.
