Benton House is an awesome home away from home! Our Mom was there for a week to visit while we had some time with our Grandchildren. Mom was nervous about the change to her routine but the Team at Benton House made her welcome and helped her to fit in to the "family". The whole management staff made the transition much easier than we had even hoped and when Mom is ready for a permanent move Benton House would be our FIRST CHOICE!!! Thank you for all you do!

Benton does their best for the transition to be made for the resident and the family. We carefully weighed our options as there were several factors we had to consider however this was the best option. Found the staff to be helpful, informative and accommodating. Found the residents seem to be content there and were friendly as well.

The community offers a full calendar of daily and nightly events. My Mother in law will be going there for the day program. I have not tried the food but we passed by the dining hall and it looked good I think I would eat it. The staff are very friendly, helpful and open to questions. The community is very clean and well maintained.

Benton House is a nice place. There are a lot of activities but my Father does not participate. He thinks the food is just fine.

Everyone at the Benton House of Sugar Hill has been so good with my mother. I can leave her for the day and know that she is happy and taken care of.

A Place for Mom was a very efficient referral service. The first place I was referred to was the place we settled mom. It was clean, professional, offerred appropriated personnel at appropriate pricing. It was a very wonderful process to go through. Even after Mom was placed, we received several calls from other locations to see if we were still in need. I would refer anyone looking for assisted living services to A Place for Mom.

This is a wonderful place. I couldn't have found a better home for my mom. The staff have gone above and beyond to make her comfortable . Mom has made great friends in a very short time

The staff at the Benton House of Newnan have been great. Anything you ask they do their best to help you. Love the Staff

I would put right up there. Going in there, it was all very nice and clean and the people were very friendly. The main reason my mother went to a different place is that one of our relatives was going to live accross the hall from where her room would be at the other place and she knew a couple of other people there too, although she might not really remember them. If it weren't for that we would have gone with Garden House. It was a close second.

What we like the most about the community is the friendliness of the staff...improve on the consistency of the food. Yes, we would recommend Benton House to other families based on the experience.

The director when I was there [name removed] was my lifeline and savior to communicate with my Long Term Care insurance to learn the correct terms to describe our needs. Great and compassionate personal staff

Facility and staff are very attentive and good with my dad. Cleanliness and staff is what stuck out over other places.

Staff very friendly and attentive. Clean and sanitary. They Check in on my dad every 2 hours. Meals are decent. It's small and not much "common" area but my dad not interested in all the bells and whistles so works out fine. Cheaper than most. He says he likes it there. Kind of feels like family. Far cheaper than any others I toured but you get what you pay for. It's smaller and not as many amenities as the larger more expensive ones. But perfect for my dad who does not participate in anything so it depends what you're looking for.

Benton House has a very helpful and caring staff. Get to know/familiarize with each member. Benton House has a day program that my mom attended a few of times each week for a couple of months. This allowed Mom to make friends and become comfortable. Made the move to Benton much easier for her.

It has been overall mostly a positive experience. It is cleaner than most I believe. The staff has been great.. When it comes to the care services it gets a 4 because we are new to this type of facility. The meals are ok, and our loved ones does not take advantage of the activities. It's very expensive for us, I know it's in line with other facilities. From looking around at other places, one of the best things in my opinion is the size. It's smaller than most places we looked into. I would recommend it.

Staff were very helpful with a few exceptions. Meals were often late and cold. Yes, I would recommend Benton House to other families

The people are very friendly and the facility is clean. They have a great executive director which helps tremendously. I would definitely recommend Benton House of Staley Hills to anyone.

The facility is of a smaller size than many in the area which was attractive as it makes it easier for the resident to navigate and less chance of being confused. I think like most facilities they are understaffed but they make every effort to be responsive. I think anybody that needs to place a loved one in an assisted living facility needs to have a clear understanding of what that means and be willing to be actively involved in the care by either being able to have family members visit on a regular basis or to have an aide, as we do, visit several times a week.

The experience was pretty good. [name removed] had really good care most of the time while he was there. The staff became like family to us, and were always willing to help me when I would have a bad day while visiting, or helped me as he needed more care. They did have a few problems with the unit that he was in. I and numerous others resident family members were irritated that they had a beautiful outdoor courtyard, but no potted plants or weeding/upkeep was done until several of us brought it to their attention. I believe this was a landscaping issue, but instead of dealing with them, plants bought at Lowes were brought in, then. Not watered so they died. I know everyone has issues with staffing, but you can't have residents who have wheelchairs, walkers, or need other assistance, left alone for long periods of time. On numerous occasions I had to step in to help another resident because there was no one on staff to help. This was told to the director on numerous occasions by myself. When my husband was declining, hospice was brought in and a wheelchair for him. He fell 6 times in 9 days. I was called each time, as was hospice. I know that other residents who were fall risks were kept out in the common area most of the day so they could be watched. Almost all of my husband's falls were in his room , alone, and staff just happened to find him. Not okay!
