Our mother has been here for almost two years and have no complaints. The facility is very clean and the staff is very caring to their residents. My mom is always clean and extremely happy. Price is very very reasonable compared to other facilities. This is my mother fourth facility and by far the best. If you are looking for yourself or your loved one look no farther!!

My Mom has been a resident for 8 years at the Oasis. I visit almost every day because Mom has dementia and I think it really helps...most days anyway. The staff goes out if their way to learn about the residents likes..dislikes..favorite snacks..aches and pains.... if you've been taking care of your loved one you get it. The Oasis isn't a stuffy chandelier muti level type of place..it's a cozy place they can navigate and feel they are in a homey environment. Our kitchen does a fabulous job getting our picky eaters to eat. As families we talk..share stories and care about each other. No one chooses this leg of their journey but we're all in this together and you will find support with other families..staff..and of course our resident manager.. [name removed] simply the best.

They are very friendly. Very helpful and patient. My mother has been there for over a year. She is enjoying the activities. She has been going down hill mentally. They are very good with her. I can't be there all the time, I trust them with all my heart. The director there is a dream. She will listen to anyone about anything. The girls are just as helpful. I dont know how I could have helped any better. My mother was at [facility removed]. They were so impersonal. And charged double what I'm paying. The help was so not helpful. I even asked them to remind her to do her exercise for her wrist (she broke it there) I felt very angry that I moved her to Oasis. What a relief I felt. I had a neighbor in there also that's how I found this place. This place was highly recommend. The daughter told me how great the place was. Thank you for your interest. This place is a god send. The have a very lovely staff. Not sure what i would have done without them.

Oasis has wonderful happy workers. The director and assistants have helped me so much with deals with my mom.The home is real clean and upbeat. The workers are very loving and attentive towards all the residents Food is great. My Mom feels at home and loves this place.

All the aides are very kind and helpful. My loved one is not an easy person to deal with at times but they are still very patient and kind with her even when she isn’t. I’m still working with her to say “thank you” it goes a long way Even the cook has been patient with her when she’s trying to tell him what she can’t eat! Lol I would recommend this facility!

The staff treat the residents like family. The director,[name removed] is true to her word, she does an amazing job with making things run smoothly and efficiently. The meals are phenomenal, they make everything from scratch. I would highly recommend the Oasis of Clarkston.

My mom has been a resident of The Oasis of Clarkston's assisted living facility for more than a year, and I am very pleased with the care that she is receiving. She is thriving with the social interaction and activities that are available, and has even made a couple close friends. The Director is diligent with communication to the families, which we appreciate, and she ensures that the staff is focused on resident safety. I'm impressed with how kindly and cheerfully the aides interact with my mom and other residents - I have never heard an impatient tone or raised voice from any staff member. I'm also grateful that I am able to visit whatever day or time I want, and I'm always welcomed. The facility recognizes and decorates for all holidays, which my mom loves, and the families are always invited to participate in the holiday meals and parties at no cost. The vibe of the facility is homey and comfortable, and it is the perfect fit that my mom needed.

My mom has been very happy there for over two years now. The staff is outstanding, compassionate and engaging. The activities are well planned from crafts, games, movies and intellectual exercises. The facility is well maintained and filled with natural light. The public areas are comfortable and nicely appointed. The courtyard is nicely landscaped with gazebos and places to sit. The food….. delicious! I’ve had several meals there and they were very good. My mom has liked most everything. My mom loves it there and she said she feels safe there. That is what allows me to sleep at night. I do not worry about the care she gets there.

The care that is given to the residents is very good. They make the residents feel like they are part of a family. My mother likes the social activities that are offered. She likes the Bingo and looks forward to playing it daily. She feels safe and secure living there. She stated to me that the food that is served is delicious and she enjoys it, I have had a meal or two there and it is very good. I highly recommend this facility.

I find the aids very friendly, competent and hands on with residents. The management is wonderful and very helpful. If you’re looking for a place for loved one. I would definitely recommend Oasis of Clarkston.

Thought the staff were very friendly and engaging. The place didn't smell bad like other places when you walked in. It smelled good. Very decorative for holiday. Everything seemed clean and organized. The smell that did catch me was amazing smells from the food being cooked. Wow smelled awesome. Overall this little facility seemed to be an absolute amazing place!! Care seems to be spot on! They really seem to care.

I cannot say enough good about The Oasis Of Clarkston. It's clean, bright, and airy. The food is phenomenal. The staff are attentive and caring. The pricing is reasonable! You get a lot of bang for buck!!! My Dad lived there from Dec to June. He was entertained daily. Kept clean. Fed well. Always had a smile on his face. And when his time came, he was tenderly cared for, surrounded by love, and he went peacefully. Stop by this hidden jewel. Talk to the staff. Look around. Reach out to me. I'll meet you there.

This place is wonderful, the staff are caring and dedicated. The Executive Director puts the residents needs and care above all else. This facility is small, but the impact they create is truly amazing. I have been in so many places, this one is clean and does not have that smell when you walk in or spend time in there. It has a good smell. The staff are friendly and have a good heart. Chef [name removed] makes amazing food, and spends great time with residents. [name removed]the activity girl, has such a pure heart and does such rewarding activities for everyone. [name removed]is a true gem always looking out for everyone. I wish I could mention everyone as this place just really has an amazing atmosphere. This facility is a great place........not by name, not by company..........BUT BEACUASE OF THE STAFF AND THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR!!

The staff members and the care services they provided would be a five plus, they are excellent and they are bringing back the activities. The pricing was our #1 thing and this was huge for us here because the value for cost works great for us. We love The Pines, it has just an overall great atmosphere. The rooms are really nice, they are similar to a studio apartment which was wonderful for our loved one.

The staff is very bubbly and friendly. The rooms are very nice, the patio has gazebos and grills. The staff will even put bird feeders outside the resident's rooms. There is a movie theater and small cafe. The residents look well cared for. Codes are needed to open outside doors. The Pines is a very nice community.

The staff and facility are exceptional. Friendly, personalized care makes the transition from home to assisted-living so much easier.

My mom has been here for two years and all of the staff that works with her are very caring and have become friends. We used to call it assisted living, but now it’s home for my mom. They help her with all her daily needs.

I liked that they are one level and only up to 20 residents. The senior staff are great and friendly but unfortunately they have a high turn over of newer staff. I like that residents pets can visit, that seems to cheer everyone up.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Pines of Clarkston Assisted Living and things have been good so far. The staff is friendly, the food is good, the facility is clean. The courtyard is very nice, too. We chose this facility over a different one that we also toured because this one is closer to our house.

My loved one is receiving very good care here. The people are really devoted, but the food the management serves isn’t great. The cook does her very best but she can only cook within the budget the management gives her so I certainly would never fault her for what’s served. The towels and linens that the facility gives the residents are all mismatched and paper thin almost. I don’t know if they shop at Salvation Army, but nothing matches and it doesn’t look uniform at all. None of the towels are white, you can tell they’re used, and the linens are the same way. It seems that everything is bare bones and it feels like whoever owns this property is cutting corners wherever they can. But the staff is wonderful and I think they go way out of their way in extending themselves for what the management doesn’t provide. The housekeeping staff cleans the individual rooms once a week and then the management will bring in special education kids from the local school during the week to help clean the facility. There was an issue with bugs at one point and I don’t think the situation was ever taken care of. However, my loved one is happy here BECAUSE of the staff and how wonderful they are.
