It was a nice tour and the manager was nice. It was a great and beautiful community. I was not offered any of the meals. They did have activities that are offered. I would recommend this community

This community is nice, but we had a good recommendation from a family friend of another community. We were happy with the staff here and the community was very nice. This just was not what we were looking for at this time.

The staff are caring & thoughtful. The surroundings are beautiful.

Nice staff, very caring & attentive. Appreciate the dining room & open dinning times. Nice menu. Good food for the most part. Good Friday entertainment. Would like to see more varied activities for the different cognitive levels.

My mother's experience was wonderful. Mom could not stop talking about her stay. Mom loved the food (which is rare). Mom thought the meal choices were incredible. Mom was very impressed how friendly the residents and staff were to her. Rest assured if mom needs another short term stay you will be hearing from us. Many thanks to all of you for taking such good care of my mother.

My husband had a pleasant stay at this community. He was satisfied with the treatment and care. The people and staff were great at this community. I would recommend a respite at this community.

I have no complaints about this community, my loved one seems to be really enjoying his stay. The meals are good and the facility is kept clean. The staff is excellent on reaching out and keeping the family informed when there is a problem or update.

I liked seeing this community on my tour. I thought the facility was a little too big. My tour guide was on time and she was able to answer all my questions. It was a quick tour however she was very friendly.

The staff at Sunrise help my husband with his exercises. He is currently working with hospice and they are nice to work with. He likes the food, however I think he could use more green foods and protein. This community is kept clean and I would recommend this community.

Sunrise of Walnut Creek provided a great tour. The staff that i got to meet during the tour were very friendly. The community was well organized and updated. Activities are offered to the residents on site. The guide also explained the amenities that are offered and their complimentary services.

A good variety of activities for the residents. A previous facility offered mostly shopping as an activity, which my sister who's a resident at Sunrise absolutely hates. She loves the special off-site excursions like the one to Half Moon Bay that she recently went on.

Make sure you understand what care level you are going to be getting. There's a level of unresponsiveness with some of their departments. I think the community is very, very cool. I love it! The responsiveness is the biggest concern.

I went on a tour of this community. They have nurses available. The community is pet friendly. There were a lot of nice activities offered to the residents. They also offer meals. I would recommend for a love one or friend.

We have had good interactions with the staff at this community. There is good communication between us and the staff. They are encouraging my mom to walk. She likes to participate in some of the outings, exercise class and other activities. The food is not very good. They keep the community clean.

A family should certainly consider this community for their loved one if they are thinking in terms of the Bay Area choices. We had very few days to plan between my Mom's anticipated exit from skilled nursing and a needed move to assisted living. The staff at Casa Sandoval really helped make it happen on time and as smooth as possible. My Mom is happy there and getting her medications on time which is a huge relief. The activities and food portions are appropriate for the residents.

This was one of my top choices for my mother to move to. It is a beautiful community, everything is very nice and clean. The staff was sweet and informative. My issues with this community were the rates. It was a wonderful tour, I really liked this community.

We are using this community for a respite stay and they have been very good at making my dad feel comfortable. The staff are really good and do their best. I like that they are open to input and the communication is prompt. My dad is eating very well and at times it may be too much for him but they accommodate with a light meal. I would recommend this place but it is a little pricey.

My dad is slowly adjusting to living at this community. He has not yet started participating in any of the activities offered. This is a newer community and it is well maintained. The staff are nice, friendly and willing to help when needed.

The person that took us on a tour of this community was nice and the food was good. This is more of a plush environment than the community we chose.

The care here is the best that it could be. I see the community is clean and kept well-maintained. Most of the staff are pretty good, there is an overnight staff who is really great and I have no worries when she is there. The food is sometimes not too great, it don't taste good and is not properly cooked. I probably would recommend this place to others.
