Great. Close. Can do month-to-month to test; Seems the best fit so far. Said he liked Sunrise in Goldenvalley, and Keystone used to be a Sunrise facility.

Very impressed with the Clare Bridge program and FP's location most ideal for visiting.

This place was Assisted Living and and Memory care and would cost over $10,000. They did have a fitness Center that he could go to and the Assisted Living place did activities in the Memory Care unit "clubhouse". There were 38 residents in the memory care and lots of levels of cognition. Nice courtyards and raised flower beds.

She thought this was great. The one drawback was the minimum short term stay is 60 days.

Seemed claustrophobic. Most of the rooms are pretty small, but the bathrooms have good access. Perfect location.

We had a good tour experience with Salida Woods. We actually knew the director and we sat and talked for a long time. The facility looked nice, but for us it came down to the pricing. They charge you a fee for the room and then they bill you for every 15 minutes of care with no maximum fee. Since we did not know how much care our loved one would need, this was going to make it too hard to budget and we figured it could get really expensive.

The care is good. It seems like a nice community. I don't always get the information back that I request. The billing statement is very confusing. There are credits that are on my loved one's statement, and I'm not sure where this has come from. I have called multiply times to follow up on asking for more details on the billing. I have yet to hear back on this. My loved one says the food has gotten better, and the community has a new cook. They have a lot of activities available for the residents to participate in. They even have physical therapy on site for the residents to use.

Great staff, clean modern facility, lots of activities. I would have given 5 stars but the food is often over or undercooked (dry pork, carrots that were hardly warm). With that said there are options other than whatever the nightly special is. It’s a really great place overall!

Be sure to get details if you are looking for independent living - you really need to understand what type of facility they are licensed to be and what they can and cannot do (they can't help you up if you fall, so they say, for example). The facility is beautiful, apartments are lovely, and most of the staff members are great - but administrators seem to have a lack of understanding of resident desires (listening only to a few "special" residents who do not speak for all). The follow up on resident concerns is generally "we will look into it" - with no follow-up. They use the HIPAA law as an excuse for many issues they don't want to address, and don't seem to really understand what that law covers. The food is so-so and the chef refuses to listen to concerns of the residents (to provide healthier, fresh alternative) - being told that the only diets of concern are for assisted living residents. There are also a lot of family relationships within the staff and administrators - so if you do have concerns about a staff member, the supervisor may be related to him/her and they protect one another.

I went on a tour here and everybody was nice and helpful. She answered all of my questions. The apartments looked nice and it was a newer building. Mom just didn't like the location of it. I recommend families tour many places before making a decision.

I toured New Perspective, and I thought that the community was very nice, and that the staff was very friendly. However, the community is large and pretty spread out, so I worried about my dad's maneuverability there. The community also felt sterol, and I was hoping for a more comfortable, homey feel. They also provided only one meal a day, and I wanted something more inclusive for my dad.

We toured New Perspective while looking for living options for my parents in law. The community is very nice. It’s open, airy, breezy, and full of light. There’s a little courtyard outside, and we really liked the director. My loved ones liked the community immediately, but it was out of our budget, so we did not move in. It’s definitely nice though, if you can afford it.

All seems to be good, although the one time my sister fell very early in the morning, it took too long for an aide to get to her. otherwise, the people and the facilities appear to be great.

Would like to have better security at night. Building locks up at 8pm and it is tough to get in after 8pm. Like the activities when I could do them, but health status is changing and participating is harder. The food is good and if there is something that I don't like they fix it or change it for something else. Came here to be close to my children.

Takes a while to get things fixed in the apartment. Only one maintenance person at the moment. Should be quick service. Nice and clean community. I get to volunteer and help out a lot.

It was hard for me to adjust to living in a community from living on the farm. We had great help getting things settled upon move in. I am happy living here. There are very friendly people here, staff and residents. They are available to me when I need help.
