I would not place someone I hated there. It's horrible. Dinner is two slices of white bread, a slice of lunch meat, jello and potato chips every day. There are people up at all hours of the day screaming. The staff takes forever to assist if help is needed. The rooms aren't cleaned weekly as promised. Laundry has to be requested over and over to get picked up ( the lady who does it does a great job), prescriptions are supposed to be filled at breakfast - often they are not and my mom had to ask over and over, and people go to eat at the allotted times and sometimes need to sit there and wait for over an hour to get their food. The halls smell like grime and feces. My mother made a friend who said she lost 45 lbs over the months she has been there. My mother also lost considerable weight - we have been bringing her food and snacks weekly. And you get one small coffee at breakfast with no refill. Staff also congregates in the halls laughing and loudly talking at all hours of the night. They also go into people's rooms while folks are dining or at odd hours of the night. If the resident makes a sound they sneak away. You can't even lock your own door unless you are in the room. And they still sneak in. We are actually discussing calling the health department as people are mistreated there. We saw a half naked lady screaming for help in the hall. My wife is a nurse - she reported it to a staff member - they were in no hurry to assist.

My brother was a resident here for 22 years. When new owners took over, profit became the motive, not the care of residents. Staffing was inadequate—in fact, on the weekends the managers would be cooking and cleaning up. Any unused money I sent for him was placed in a trust fund. They never explained that to me. When I finally got him out of there, they would not return $[removed].

My brother was a resident for 23 years. It was wonderful in the beginning, but slowly the staff/patient ratio was inadequate, and the residents just mill around outside the back door. No cook stayed very long, causing the managers to often do the cooking and cleaning up. One day, the only staff member in attendance was asleep on the couch. I had to rely on the laundress and a housekeeper to keep an eye on my brother. In addition, any unspent funds sent to care for my brother were put in a Trust Fund which was not refunded when he left.

I'd rate them barely a 1 in all categories. The food was awful and my loved one didn't want to eat it. It's poorly run: nobody at the front desk, can't call and reach anyone in the evenings, extremely short staffed. The handicap door didn't even work.

Not a good place to put your love one if you truly care about them they don't take care of them like they say they're going to I know my husband wasn't there I had to remove him because every time something happened they would ship them off to the hospital they would not keep them clean his room was always filthy his bed was hardly ever made. I definitely would not recommend this facility for anyone

Beware. This place is not what it is represented to be. Do not believe the brochure, Doctor comes in ONE time a month. Transportation that they make you believe is abundently available is not. Half broken down van only moves on Thursday morning to go to Walmart for exactly 45 minutes. There is one grocery trip a week. Many people there should be in a nursing home. PS has NO Life Saving Equipment. [removed] The food is horrible. The home made soup they talk about is water,grease and flavoring(i was in the food business). The portions are ridicoulusly small. 90% of the time, on Sunday night dinner is ONE SLICE of low cost iunch meat between 2 pieces of bread with maybe canned beets. Yet the staff walks around with huge plates of food . The staff is under paid, UNDER STAFFED and with the exception of a very few simply do not care. I had more medication mixups I could write forever about P.S. The only thing important is filling the next room. P.S. leadership will look you in the eye and tell you this is one big happy family

The community does not provide documents and or invoices in a timely manner. The staff can seem frustrated with our loved ones. Memory care is not what we expected and they seem to not be able to be patient enough to take care of our loved ones. I would not recommend this community to anyone.

The food is terrible,most of staff not qualified to perform in their capacity. Difficult to obtain medications sometimes. The staff on the night shift may as well stay at home to watch their tv shows. Simply, I personally would not place anyone in MY family within its walls.

I couldn't say enough bad things about them. She would get sick on their food. When they say you get a cup of soup, it's a half a teacup and half full of grease. The food is not good. It was not clean, their cleaning was a duster, and take out the garbage. The room was very small with only enough room for a bed, a chair, and a dresser. I wouldn't let a mouse stay there. The visiting doctor will charge just to walk in the door even when there is no need to see the resident.
