We chose MorningStar because I liked the attitude of the staff members, it is a newer facility, and it is also convenient to my home. The staff are very friendly and they do try really hard. I would recommend to others who are looking.

My parents live at MorningStar of Fountain Hills. I can't say enough about this community and the staff. They are polite, loving, and attentive. My mom can be difficult at times, but she loves living there and the staff treat her like a queen. Mom loves the activities, even through Covid, and dad just loves to be along side her. Thank you to everyone at MorningStar.

With everything COVID related, I think Morningstar Arrowhead has done a fabulous job with assisting my parents - one in Assisted Living and the other in Memory Care. I have found the administration to be very good at communicating and the same with the staff. I have been very pleased at the level of care my parents are receiving.

The staff is professional and caring. Their follow up on my Dad’s situation, before moving into the facility, was excellent along with the communication and organization of all the details. Although my Dad’s medical situation changed, so he did not ultimately move into MorningStar, they continued to genuinely care about his condition and how they could help me get the best solution for his needs. I would highly recommend them to care for your loved one.

My family moved my Dad in here at the end of 2019. He was having memory issues and has early dementia. He is doing great. Everyone one at Morning Star seems to really care for him and make him feel at home. The facility is small and compared to all the others we looked at feels more like a nice hotel then a assisted living facility. During this covid 19 they really step up to help fill in for all the stuff we as his family can’t do. The place is very friendly and super clean. This transition is hard but I think this was the best choice we could have.

Morningstar has been such a tremendous blessing and encouragement to our family because of the extraordinary care they are taking of our father. Unfortunately we had tried other facilities in the area before we found Morning Star, but it has given us that much more of an appreciation for what a difference a staff and environment can make. My fathers first six months with dementia was extremely discouraging. Not only because of his disease but because of the lack of compassion and level of engagement that he was getting at another assisted living facility. When we met with the staff of Morning Star, we immediately could tell that something very special was happening there. since our father was relocated to their facility I have seen a complete turnaround as far as my father’s level of joy and contentment. They can’t cure the disease, but the staffs use of such love and compassion, mixed with specific training and gifting‘s makes it where they are able to make the most of a horrible situation. We never wanted our dad to have to live in a facility but at the same time we are so grateful that there is such a place here in Idaho Falls where we feel our dad is being loved extremely well.

My mom was sad when I moved her from her home of 40 years to live at MorningStar at Golden Ridge. She had always wanted to stay in her home until the end of her life but diminishing strength and increasing fall risk made that too unsafe for her. She has lived at MorningStar for six months now. I knew the decision to move her to AL and the choice of GoldenStar were the right decision because in the first few days of living there she made friendships among other residents as well as staff. She went from sitting on the couch in her PJ's all day at home to putting on her pretty clothes, make-up, and jewelry as she started each morning in her new home. Mom rarely misses any of the planned activities and enjoys the variety of activities offered. Her appetite has improved because she now has friends to sit and visit with at meals. The staff at MorningStar work hard to provide the best experiences and services for the residents. Staff at all levels in Golden Ridge take time to say hi when they see mom and to ask how she is doing. They also often check in with me to see how I am doing! My experience has been that all staff have a genuine love for working with elderly persons and understand how far a kind word and smile can go to bring happiness to the lives of those they care for. As with all things in life, not everything goes without a glitch here and there. At Golden Ridge those glitches have been few and far between. When problems do arise they are addressed quickly. Management always has the time to talk to residents or their families about concerns. They address the issues they can and if some matter or request can't be honored they will explain why and work for other appropriate solutions. Really, the only "problems" I have seen seem to be due to the difficulty of managing a balance of when to bring on additional staff with anticipated resident growth. My mom is happy. She is well cared for. She is safe. She has new friends to look forward to seeing daily. MorningStar is giving her the quality of life she deserves.

Very pleased with the care and facilities. Especially impressed with Brandy Wood, the community relations director. She goes so far above and beyond to help. She was an immense help in getting my mother out of acute care rehab center and established comfortably in Morningstar.

My family and i have been so pleased with the care my dad is recieving in Memory Care at Morning Star. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgable, kind and helpful. It is such a blessing to know he is safe and well cared for!

Beautiful, saline indoor swim pool, large exercise recreation area, very close to nature and mountains! Perfect for me!

The staff was very kind. The rooms and the dining area were very clean. I really enjoyed my time there.

We have been a part of several communities in our area, but the sense of family, the access to the staff and the stellar care Dad has received is unparalleled with our MorningStar experience. They were very caring and equipped to take care of individuals with Alzheimer's and Dementia. I felt like I was being taken care of too because they were very communicative and thoughtful. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely choose them again and would recommend them to my friends and family.

We have been very impressed with Parker Senior Living and are happy we decided to trust Morningstar with our parents care. Our parents move in a little over a month ago and are enjoying their new home. Everything has been quality from our first phone call to the overall building itself. The tour experience was educational and made us understand the importance of quality care. I look forward to seeing my parents flourish in this new environment.

I believe that overall, everyone does a good job - I wold appreciate if the new staff would make themselves known to the families - Perhaps an email with the changes, etc.

I want to thank all of the employee's and staff at Applewood Place for the love, effort, thoughtfulness they displayed in hosting my father's ([name removed]) 100th birthday celebration on Dec. 20th. I can't say enough about this place. Wonderful staff, wonderful place. Highly recommend it.

This has been a good move for my father, the community and the staff is very friendly and caring. My dad likes his room and we have got his furniture arranged so that it feels more like home for him. I have had some trouble getting my dad set up for the resident doctor program and I am hoping that will be put in place soon. Dad is starting to take part in the different activies and special events they offer here as well as making new friends and he enjoys going to the dining room and he says the good is also good. I would definitely recommend setting up a tour and coming to see this community and all they have to offer.

My dad is doing really well here, the staff is very friendly and attentive to the residents. The community is very nice, clean and has a lot for him to do. My dad's favorite time of the day is meal time he really likes the food they serve here. Dad is also making friends and I am happy with how well he is doing.
