I picked this community because of the location and price. I would recommend to other families.

I am slowly adjusting-big change!! Beautiful surroundings-lots of trees, rolling hills, wildlife. The room is light and airy and comfortable. Nice, helpful staff. Generally good feeling about facility. It is also a pet friendly community!

What we like the most about the Truewood by Merrill community is the staff members, their floor plan as well as the common area set up. We also like that they lock the front door at night. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families with caveats.

What we like the most about the community is the activities like playing bingo and socializing with the other residents at the community. Based on the experience we have had so far with Truewood by Merrill, Glen Riddle we would recommend this community to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

The cleanliness and friendly atmosphere is great. I have great respect for the people who manage Sunshine Villa. Sunshine Villa may be a very good option for many but they could not meet my loved ones needs.

They have good services for the residents: hair and nail salon, activities, try to create a fun environment. I would definitely recommend to others. It's a good community- extremely friendly staff.Very willing to help and make safe for family member. Food could be a bit better- mom complains a little about that.

Truewood by Merrill, Roseville is a friendly place to live with plenty of activities and daily meals. The rooms are reasonably priced. The building and grounds are kept clean.. The staff are friendly and perform in a professional manner. The are free laundry rooms, complete with iron and ironing board, at each wing of the building which are conveniently located. There is a bus service provide to residents for those of us who cannot drive. I have recommended Truewood By Merrill, Roseville to my friends and family.

I am very happy to have a home here at "Truewood" I have always found all the staff to be responsive and helpful and attentive. The residents are friendly and I truly cannot find anything about which to complain. I enjoy my meals. All is well! Thank you!

I have lived here since the end of September, 2022. The building is at least 20 years old and needs some updating, but the staff does their best to make it a pleasant, clean place to live. There are several floor plans to choose and the Sales Manager is very pleasant and loves to show them! There are several amenities included in the rent (ie cable TV) which add to the benefits.

Main considerations for our family was the price and the location. Tenants doors are open when they are home. Others and staff peak in often to say hi. They feel safe around staff. The staff seems to mingle with tenants letting them know who they are and that they are there for them. I like that all are friendly and helpful.

The staff is very caring and supportive of the residents as well as family members. I would say that the family members do need to be proactive though! The main reason we chose this facility came down to the price. I was surprised that Merrill gardens was actually about $[removed]/month less than the closest comparable facility. I would absolutely recommend this community to others looking for memory care.

In reality it had the only assisted living opening. But after going to others it seemed well organized and was well maintained. [name removed] said that the staff was friendly and energized to help. Would definitely recommend.

When it comes to the value for cost they charge [fee removed] . Month to park in their garage, which is unacceptable. They increased rent 10% which means I will probably need to move next year. No mercy. Based on my experience, especially based on the quality of food and unreasonable fees, I would not recommend Merrill Gardens. However, if you are wealthy, you will be able to buy your groceries or eat out, and unreasonable fees will be affordable for you. The best thing is that MG is located next to a beautiful library, hair salons, and good stores

The staff was amazing. Sometimes they sent me photos of her or helped her with her iPhone so she could FaceTime and see me and talk to me. When she went on hospice they were all advising me on what I needed to do and what extras to request for my moms comfort. This was my first time having to go thru this and they were all a big help. The GM was excellent and always made sure my concerns were addressed immediately but having to pay that much money, I expect the room the be cleaned right the first time. As for the food, my mom did not like it. While she was there there had been issues with cooks being out sick or on leave etc. hopefully they have found someone who is committed and good.

We toured Merrill Gardens at Carolina Park during our search for an Independent Living facility for our loved one. This facility was nice. It was clean and everyone was friendly. The food was good, also. However, they didn't have an indoor pool like we were hoping for.

I chose this facility because it had good ratings, the staff was friendly, there was a room available near the dining room, and there seemed to be many activities. My mother is not as involved as I thought she would be. Another thing that influenced my choice of True wood is that is that they were running a special of a nominal community fee. We had tried two other facilities in the previous 6-8 months and had had to pay two community fees. I have to stay on top of them to do everything for my mother that they are supposed to do. Several times they have failed to do her laundry on the assigned day. When I discover the pile of laundry and point it out, a staff member does it right away. Staff is supposed to make sure she is wearing her hearing aids every morning. That doesn't always happen. Senior leadership does always immediately address my concerns when I speak to them. I think the meal quality could be better.

It's a great place for your parents to live. They have been excellent with getting things repaired that broke. An area for improvement is the billing for rent. My parents have been overcharged and are still currently trying to get that worked out.

Our only hesitation with Merrill Gardens at Barkley Place is the dining room - it is under staffed so therefore it leads to some long wait times for a table and/or meals. However what we like most about this community is the security, the brightness, the morning check-ins and the roominess.

It is in a 'hot ' area of Downtown...The Bull Street District. The biggest complaint is about the food being cold and/or too fancy .... everyone complains. But on the plus side the menu offers many options and one can eat anytime from 11 to 7. Continental breakfast in the morning. Washer and dryer in room, 2 burner stove and microwave. Staff is very patient and kind, listening to residents ask the same questions over and over. Studio through 2 bedroom available. Rent goes up every year. Free cleaning once a week but very 'light'. Utilities and meals included in rent as well as transportation to Dr. Appointments. Good security. Nicer than any other places I've seen.

My mother is currently a resident at Merrill Gardens at Renton Centre. Overall, our experience with this facility has been good. The cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness are great. The housekeeping is good. The communication with the family is good. The meals are also good and pretty good quality. The staff is good. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.
