I really thought they were great. I had no regrets ever putting my loved one here. They' couldn't help Covid came along. It was difficult on the residents being more isolated. But they did the best they...

From our understanding when it came to the care givers some were great, and some were not. We think they should do a better job weeding out the poor performers. The rooms were typical and what we expected, they were a little on the small side but well equipped. It definitely seemed like the community wanted the residents to be out and about rather than sit in their rooms

We chose Marion Gardens because it fit in with close proximity to our house. When we toured, we just go a good feeling about the place, so we felt it would be a good fit for us. The place is pleasant, roomy, quiet and clean. We also love that it gave my loved one back her independence.

My father is doing pretty well since moving into Mullica Gardens. This is a newer community and one of the things I noticed is that there is not a lot of activities for the residents to participate in. The food is good and the staff are friendly and attentive to the residents. The community and the grounds are well maintained. I would recommend this community to family and friends.

My mom is staying at this community and so far it is getting better. I feel they are trying hard to improve their ways in the activities available and handling residents with dementia. They are open to my feedback and trying to resolve the issue.

So far everything is working out very well with my mothers move to this community. She is safe, and in good hands. The staff is very kind, and very helpful. The meals decent, but they do a plenty of activities available for the residents to participate in. They do a very good job with the cleanliness of the community. This is a very nice community, and I would recommend it.

The meals are served at inconvenient hours for the residents. The community has lacked an activities director and no activities were offered for over 8 weeks. There is a lack of communication from the director, nurses, salon staff, and kitchen staff. They don't work well together and miscommunication is common affecting my mother's health and overall charges.

Mom was there 3 months. She fell twice and no one told me even though I questioned her bruises. Head administrator brought in COVID-19 - and it spread to 14 residents - 4 of which died - INCLUDING my Mom. When I went in this administrator was not even wearing a mask just coming back from quarantine. One positive - I got to wear full PPE and be with Mom when she died one week after getting the virus.

Our loved one moved in at the beginning of October, and just three months after one of the administrators brought in the virus. Our loved one contracted the virus and passed away within a week later. We did not see people wearing masks nearly enough, and we think they could of followed the safety protocols a little better. Our loved one did not receive the care we were expecting, they did not give her her medicine properly, charge her hearing aids, or give her the compression socks she needed to be wearing. Our loved ones clothes went missing as well as other belongs. One good thing they did, was the last three days before she passed they allowed us into the community, all suited up and masked up to be with her, however I would not recommend the Merion Gardens.
