Merion Gardens Assisted Living

The Nursing staff is forthcoming in all matters and takes prompt action to needs, real or perceived, of my mother in law. The expanded studio apartment is large enough to move around in with a rollator including into the bathroom/shower/toilet. Heat is readily available (hot!), there are many activities for housebound people to enjoy if they choose to participate. Food is reasonably tasty considering that the kitchen produces everything in bulk fashion. The cleaning people, quite joyful usually, arrive regularly and the laundry is washed twice a week;

My dad's experience at MG's has been fantastic, beyond what we could imagine. First of all, the facility is very clean second, they have a ton of activities throughout the week that residents can participate in. Third, in my experience, every single person there does an outstanding job with the residence. They know each resident by name and it's sort of like a little family. We could not be happier with the decision we made.

It is an excellent place, people nice attentive and homey. Medicine / services and food no complaints. The staff meet the challenge, but as in all health related facilities , administration tries to get by with the least frontline help as possible, I am nurse of 45 years and understand and can see it. A peave of mine of course!!!

The staff are very friendly and accommodating in general. My family member is in the memory care unit which has to be the most challenging environment in elder care. They are always very nice to the residents trying to put smiles on their faces. I think there are times when it seems the care givers are stretched thin. I can't really speak much about the meals but have not heard any complaints from our family member . They have special meals, events, activities and entertainment. We are satisfied with the facility. Glad we chose it. [name removed] was our angel when we didn't know how to proceed when things got beyond our control. So thankful for A Place for Mom and all of the people who do such good work there.

Great staff - clean and spacious living quarters - great food - wonderful activities and great follow up with families. I definitely recommend to other families. The staff there truly cares and pays attention to your loved ones. They offer frequent and timely feedback and information to the families of residents. The place is lovely and clean and well maintained. The food, activities, and overall tone and environment are welcoming, loving, and again, the staff is excellent and truly care about the residents.

The things I like most are that the staff is very responsive whenever I have a question or problem (which is rare). Everyone is very kind and friendly. My mother gets along with everyone, staff and residents alike, and has nothing but good things to say about everyone. I know my mother is in good hands with everyone at Mullica Gardens. If there was one thing I could change, it would be the opportunity for my mom to go on more outings. Currently, the residents leave the building once a week to go to either Walmart, a retail pharmacy, or a supermarket. The inside courtyard is small and the grounds around the building are limited. So no one gets to go outside and walk around much.

The entire staff, especially [name removed], were wonderful. Answering our questions, taking is on two tours, generally helping us during a very difficult time. In the end excepting our loved ones into the community, knowing it would likely be a short stay.

The entire staff is accessible and very friendly. Everyone is willing to help. The facility is excellent. They did a great job making it look like a home. The fireplace is a nice touch.

Thank you A Place for Mom for helping us find this facility! My mother in law is thriving here! The staff is attentive, the meals vary and have options, there are activities several times a day, and they have PT and related services on site.

I would highly recommend it, my Dad was treated with kindness and dignity.

The staff at Mullica Gardens Assisted Living is very good and they all treat the residents with kindness and respect. Mom says the food is delicious and she enjoys the time socializing with all of the other residents in the dining room. The place is always very clean. The move in process was great, thanks to [name removed], the Marketing Manager. He was so helpful and available to answer any questions that we had. We looked at some places that were bigger and liked the way Mullica Gardens is set up. It is easy to get around and Mom felt comfortable right away. Before we were even in her door the first day she had residents introducing themselves and welcoming her. Mom says it feels like a big family living together. She loves it there! My family definitely recommends Mullica Gardens and I have already told many people what a great place it is.

We toured with Mullica Gardens and had a great experience, the tour was handled very well. From everything we saw it looked very nice, but unfortunately the location was just too far away from family.

My mom has been here for six years. Although the original plan was to age in her home, multiple mobility and health issues arose. Her apartment fits her perfectly! Due to healthier eating, she has not been hospitalized. I believe that more social interaction is also positive.

I really thought they were great. I had no regrets ever putting my loved one here. They' couldn't help Covid came along. It was difficult on the residents being more isolated. But they did the best they could. Everybody I came into contact with was great. I have absolutely no negatives to say. My loved one was happy here.

I would definitely go for it again. There were about 10 other communities between New Jersey and Delaware, my siblings and I went to all the different communities we ranked this community number one. The friendless, the cleanliness and the care for my loved one is amazing. They have a shuttle only available roughly once a week. The place is only approx four years old. My loved one didn't want to go originally, but she started to call it home soon after moving in.

We chose this community because of location and the size of the facility, it was smaller so you get better 1 on 1 care. We also appreciated the appearance and cleanliness. The room sizes are very ample, they are larger than most. My mom says the food is good, they have a good variety and it is healthy. Communication has been a little hard, but it has been addressed. My concerns are always heard and valued. My favorite part about this community would be the small size of the facility. The residents know each other and the staff know the residents. It is more like family. I would recommend Mullica Gardens Assisted Living.

[Name removed] was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and pleasant. The facility was well maintained. Residents and staff seemed to be very comfortable. I liked the fact that there was an activity room for the residents to enjoy artwork/crafts. Also, at the time of my visit, the residents were listening to a live soloist on the piano. My opinions are all positive about Mullica Gardens, but I just don't think it's the right fit for my mom. Will keep looking. Thanks you [name removed] and [name removed].

Mullica Gardens is a lovely facility. The staff is very caring and supportive. The food is excellent and you are welcome to join your loved one for meals.

My Dad has just passed away but the LOVE and care provided to him by the staff in the Special Care Unit was outstanding! They treated him with kindness, dignity and respect. They kept him as safe as possible, got him anything he needed and recommend things to improve his final days. From Housekeeping to kitchen staff to the Care staff and Administration, everyone cared for not just my Dad but my family

The place is beautiful and [Removed] was extremely helpful. We are going to let them care for my father as we believe they will take care of him as if he were one of their own.
