Merion Gardens Assisted Living

The entire staff is accessible and very friendly. Everyone is willing to help. The facility is excellent. They did a great job making it look like a home. The fireplace is a nice touch.

Thank you A Place for Mom for helping us find this facility! My mother in law is thriving here! The staff is attentive, the meals vary and have options, there are activities several times a day, and they have PT and related services on site.

I would highly recommend it, my Dad was treated with kindness and dignity.

The staff at Mullica Gardens Assisted Living is very good and they all treat the residents with kindness and respect. Mom says the food is delicious and she enjoys the time socializing with all of the other residents in the dining room. The place is always very clean. The move in process was great, thanks to [name removed], the Marketing Manager. He was so helpful and available to answer any questions that we had. We looked at some places that were bigger and liked the way Mullica Gardens is set up. It is easy to get around and Mom felt comfortable right away. Before we were even in her door the first day she had residents introducing themselves and welcoming her. Mom says it feels like a big family living together. She loves it there! My family definitely recommends Mullica Gardens and I have already told many people what a great place it is.

We toured with Mullica Gardens and had a great experience, the tour was handled very well. From everything we saw it looked very nice, but unfortunately the location was just too far away from family.

My mom has been here for six years. Although the original plan was to age in her home, multiple mobility and health issues arose. Her apartment fits her perfectly! Due to healthier eating, she has not been hospitalized. I believe that more social interaction is also positive.

I really thought they were great. I had no regrets ever putting my loved one here. They' couldn't help Covid came along. It was difficult on the residents being more isolated. But they did the best they could. Everybody I came into contact with was great. I have absolutely no negatives to say. My loved one was happy here.

I would definitely go for it again. There were about 10 other communities between New Jersey and Delaware, my siblings and I went to all the different communities we ranked this community number one. The friendless, the cleanliness and the care for my loved one is amazing. They have a shuttle only available roughly once a week. The place is only approx four years old. My loved one didn't want to go originally, but she started to call it home soon after moving in.

We chose this community because of location and the size of the facility, it was smaller so you get better 1 on 1 care. We also appreciated the appearance and cleanliness. The room sizes are very ample, they are larger than most. My mom says the food is good, they have a good variety and it is healthy. Communication has been a little hard, but it has been addressed. My concerns are always heard and valued. My favorite part about this community would be the small size of the facility. The residents know each other and the staff know the residents. It is more like family. I would recommend Mullica Gardens Assisted Living.

[Name removed] was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and pleasant. The facility was well maintained. Residents and staff seemed to be very comfortable. I liked the fact that there was an activity room for the residents to enjoy artwork/crafts. Also, at the time of my visit, the residents were listening to a live soloist on the piano. My opinions are all positive about Mullica Gardens, but I just don't think it's the right fit for my mom. Will keep looking. Thanks you [name removed] and [name removed].

Mullica Gardens is a lovely facility. The staff is very caring and supportive. The food is excellent and you are welcome to join your loved one for meals.

My Dad has just passed away but the LOVE and care provided to him by the staff in the Special Care Unit was outstanding! They treated him with kindness, dignity and respect. They kept him as safe as possible, got him anything he needed and recommend things to improve his final days. From Housekeeping to kitchen staff to the Care staff and Administration, everyone cared for not just my Dad but my family

The place is beautiful and [Removed] was extremely helpful. We are going to let them care for my father as we believe they will take care of him as if he were one of their own.

I am pleased with facility and all they do for my cousin. It has been a difficult transition for her but they are accommodating her. They have been great and help her. They are kind to her and bending over backwards to help with the transition. They have been very reasonable with us. I would recommend them to family and friends if needed.

My family feels so lucky that we found this place for our mother. Mullica Gardens is owned by physicians who truly understand how to care for the elderly. The suites in the memory care are spacious, FOX therapy is excellent, and the aides/nurses are compassionate and caring. My mother is receiving the highest level of care in the less restrictive environment. This is not a chain of facilities but a uniquely different assisted living place. [Removed] has provided tremendous support in helping my mother make a successful transition to her new home. We are so grateful to have found Mullica Gardens!

My mom is doing very well, she participates in some of the activities they offer. The food is good, it is very clean. The staff is also very nice. I would recommend this community to friends and family.

I know most places like this are understaffed. There's a constant flow of new trainees which made consistent communication difficult. There were people there who really were great at their jobs and you could tell they cared. That made the experience more positive.

My loved one was previously a resident at Mullica Gardens Assisted Living and the overall experience was good. I knew that my loved one was safe and that was very important to me. Overall, the staff was good. Some were poor and some were great. The food was good. The activities were great, though I do wish that there were more. As for the value for cost, I'm not sure since I don't have anything to compare it to.

We picked this community because, they had a smaller number of residents. They need to maybe add more activities, they seem to them repeat weekly. They can improve by, adding some new activities.

They made the process of getting our famly member in very easy. It's a lovely facility and looks like a home. I like that everything is all on one floor and that it's a very secure facility. Everybody I've come into contact with has been lovely. One are for improvement is I would like to see them take the residents outside more often on nicer days. They have a very nice courtyard outside that I wish the residents got to enjoy more.
