Mercy House

Mercy House was the right fit for [Name removed]. He was happy there , and during the almost 8 months he was there, there was very little staff change, so he became very comfortable interacting with the same people. It's a very different place from most memory care facilities. Much more home-like. I almost felt like he was with relatives. I popped in at all different times, day and night, and never saw anything that worried me. The place could use a little bit of a facelift, but that didn't affect the experience for the residents at all. They are well taken care of. I actually recommended Mercy House to a friend and her Father is there now. I feel very blessed to have been guided there. Thank you!

For Mom's needs, Mercy House-Living Springs was a great fit. A caring staff and very good resident-to-staff ratio. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved ones.

My husband has had such great care. The entire staff is caring and the food is delicious. If up to it they have activities to participate in. All in all its just a wonderful place.

I have recently recommended The Mercy House in Waco, TX to a few friends of mine. The staff is friendly. I am always aware of how my dad is doing. He is able to go on outings with me when I want and can take him. He speaks highly of everyone there. He seems healthy and happy. He likes being able to talk to people his own age. He really likes all the extra people who come by with ice-cream and songs. His favorite is when he gets to visit the dog- :)

The staff is warm, caring, and patient, and they truly treat residents like family. The environment is clean, peaceful, and welcoming, and you can tell they put their heart into everything they do. I’m so grateful for the compassion and support they provide every single day. Highly recommend!

When searching for the right place for our loved one, we visited several communities-but the moment we stepped into Mercy House, both in Temple and Georgetown, we felt an overwhelming sense of peace. These homes are warm, inviting,& truly feel like a family environment. The smaller, intimate setting allows for more personalized care&genuine connections between staff, residents & their families. In Georgetown the set up is private studio-type apartments&private bathrooms; &in Temple, the set up is truly like any Middle-Class, American Home; so it's bedrooms with family style bathrooms in the hallway. Everyone we met from caregivers to administrators-have been compassionate, attentive,& seemed deeply committed to their residents' well being. We had the chance to witness first-hand the patience, love & dignity in how they care for their residents & understand why Mercy House a reputation of being one of the very best.

Mercy house is such a beautiful small assisted living & Memory Care that treats their residents with the compassion we’d all want for our loved ones. Staff is caring and loving. Smaller is sometimes better for those w/ Alzheimer’s, this place has it all. Watching the care givers was heart warming.

All at 5. One caveat: memory care really is there focus. While living independently in an apartment my mother-in-law had begun to exhibit occasional episodes of very poor judgment that put her at risk. Her memory was still fairly intact despite being 90. Once we moved her to Mercy House we came to the realization that the other residents were much more demented than she was and it distressed her. Mercy House didn't do anything wrong. During the intake interview they asked the appropriate questions about her memory status but we failed to communicate her higher level of mental function between the two episodes that were a serious threat to her safety.

Mercy House New Braunfels has been a true blessing for our family. The staff are incredibly compassionate, attentive, and treated my mother with the dignity and love she deserved. The environment is warm, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and the activities kept her engaged and happy. Our family Highly recommends MH to any family looking for quality memory care. What we like the most about Mercy House is the smallness of it. Get to know caregivers and patients. Dr. Comes to residents. Yes, we would most definitely recommend this community to other families.

They were small. Had private rooms, and able to manage insulin administration for diabetics. The experience is good.

My dad has gained up to a healthy weight. He's not as depressed as he was in other places he has stayed. His laundry and room are always clean. The kitchen is always open and busy. Meals smell and look great. All the staff make you feel like you are welcome to visit, conversate and ask questions. None of the staff have ever been rude to me. I'm always informed about what is going on with my Dad. I feel that I made the best decision in choosing the Mercy House for my father.

Mercy House Victoria is small, but the staff there are very attuned to the needs of the residents there and that is why I would rate them as a 5 for all the categories. Based on the experience we have had, we would definitely recommend this community to others.

Their staff is exceptionally kind and seem to love the residents like family.

I think they do a good job and residents seem peaceful there. I picked Mercy House because they gave insulin injection where the others did not. I would recommend others.

I highly recommend Mercy House to other families. I like the staff and the management there. They have gone above and beyond to take care of my husband.
