[Name removed], activities director, is amazing! She does such a great job of engaging her residents! Everyone always has a great time! Everyone that works in this community is incredibly dedicated to the care and life enrichment of their residents!

[name removed] their activities Director is one amazing human. This little woman has so much to give to this facility. I preform there and I see how much energy she brings to those residents. This woman can throw a party. They have one angel there. Canterfield is very lucky to have someone so dedicated to their job. Thank you [name removed] for always going above and beyond for the elderly community.

My wife chose to continue staying there for the duration of her therapy. That speaks for itself. She feels safe in their friendly environment. She has quite enjoyed the activities that [name removed] has created. And the concierge desk is run by dedicated folks.

She said some staff members are better than others but you get that everywhere. She noted some are absolutely wonderful and have become good friends that she's gotten close to, but didn't name names

Very clean and beautiful! I enjoyed my visit and tour of the facility. Everyone is so kind and thoughtful towards the residents. Activity calendar is full of different choices and the meal I had was delicious!

I have to say the staff of Canterfield are very friendly, very observant of mom's needs and communicate with me frequently. We visit quite often it is always extremely clean with cheerful staff all around. According to our loved one the meals and dining and activities is great which is why those receive 5 stars. Based on our experience we would absolutely recommend Canterfield of Fort Myers to other families looking for a community for their loved ones.

They are excellent. The staff are friendly, they are warm, they go the extra mile to help you in anything that you might need. We chose this facility because of the value for the money and also when I met the ladies here, they were all so helpful and accommodating, I really appreciate them. They have been doing wonderful with my loved one and I would definitely recommend this facility to others looking.

My aunt lived at Canterfield when her dementia progressed so she could no longer live alone. I very much appreciate the care she received until she passed. I never worried about the care she received. Thank you for taking care of her and making it easier for both of us going through this difficult journey!

My mom moved into Assisted Living in October 2019. She loved it! She kept her independence and loved all of the socializing provided at Canterfield, In July 2021 she was moved to Memory Care Unit, The staff was incredible! I never had to worry about her. If anything occurred, no matter how small,, I was notified. When I would visit, I would often find one of the caregivers hugging her or just spending time with her. The staff, from the facility director down to janitorial crew were always so kind and accommodating. If there was ever an issue, it was handled quickly. My mom passed away on New Years Eve 2022 and during her last few days, she was visited by numerous staff members and some of those staff members came to visit on their day off. The love that the Canterfield staff gave my mother and I will never be forgotten. Obviously I highly recommend Canterfield of Kennesaw.

Our experience with Canterfield of Fort Myers has been so far so good. We really like the newness of the community, it is really clean and we like the location of it. That is something that really stood out to us and the staff members are very friendly. We have not heard of any complaints with the meals and even though we have not had a first-hand experience with the activities we do think they are good. The value is pretty good as well.

I only wish we could have convinced my mother to go here earlier. She was only here for 2.5 months before she passed away. I think she would have had such a better quality of life doing the activities and meeting the other residents. I do think they could have done a better job encouraging the residents to participate in the things that they had going on. The staff were great, she fell a few times while here and they called right away. The sales director [name removed] was with my mom when she passed away. She was so sweet and very comforting to my mother while she passed and to us after she passed away. We feel blessed to have had found this facility.

It's very easy to deal with the facility. They helped a lot getting our family member moved in quickly and have been very accommodating to him. Even though he's wheelchair bound, he's mentally with it. We appreciate that they encourage his wood carving hobby. The staff are good, although sometimes we wish their response time was a little quicker. But he loves the meals. And they have quite a few activities. It's a big deal to us that he's happy here.

I’ve been at Canterfield for a little while now and I had a great experience here. From the helpful front desk team, the administrative/office team, care staff, and wonderful kitchen staff, I have nothing but amazing things to say. The front desk lady always answers my questions as best as she can and is wonderful company. The administration staff always checks up on me to make sure I’m enjoying my stay at Canterfield. The caregivers are very hard working and go above and beyond to make sure I’m safe. The kitchen staff is by far the best part of Canterfield. The evening shift servers are especially exceptional. They engage with me and other residents when taking orders and make sure we are aware of the meals we have available for us for that evening. After our food is delivered, they make sure that we are satisfied with the quality of the meal. I also appreciate the chefs, especially a certain morning shift chef. She took time out to hand craft a special dish for me. Wonderful place!

Very caring staff, friendly, clean environment. Always call to update me on my aunt! I think it's the perfect place so I don't have any advice for improving anything.

MY WIFE HAD A BLOOD CLOT ON HER LUNG SO WE MOVED INTO ASSISTED LIVING WHERE SHE GOT GREAT SERVICE. THE CLOT DISAPPEARED SO WE MOVED INTO AN INDEPENDENT VILLA WHERE WE HAVE LIVED FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS. I WOULD RECCOMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE NEEDING A SENIOR LIVING HOME. INDEPENDENT LIVING DINING IS SIT DOWN AND ORDER FROM A MENU WITH FOUR OR FIVE ENTREES AND APPITIZERS. PLUS THERE'S ALWAYS FOUR OR FIVE DESSERTS TO CHOOSE FROM THE OPTIONS.

I am a current resident who has resided in Canterfield's Independent Living residence areas for over one year. I have been surprised at how quickly Canterfield has become my home. The food is excellent, with menues that change weekly. The wait staff are professionals who have become extended family. We not only have a full service gym and saline pool, but in-house nurse practitioner and physical/occupational/ speech therapists are available. I would not hesitate to recommend Canterfield to my friends and family.

[name removed] , [name removed] and [name removed] have made my transition so smooth. The food here is great! We have plenty of options. Aides and nurses are wonderful and answer call buttons promptly. I love it here!

The caregivers and staff are angels! They respect and are trustworthy and show love for all their residence. They show tolerance for all the types of behaviors. How they do this is magic. I know I couldn’t do it. What a wonderful group of people.

In the beginning I was hesitant to leave my mom in someone else’s care. We’ve had a few minor incidents in the past but they were quickly taken care of. I am happy with the care and love my mom receives daily and more importantly my mom is happy and has made many friends with the residents and staff. I feel very confident that she is being well taken care of.

The food served in the independent dining room is extremely good with an excellent variety. They serve soup, salads, appetizer and a choice of 5 entrees and dessert. The menu changes weekly. Sunday buffet is full of hot and cold choices.
