We brought my dad to this home from a very stressful situation and let’s just say he was not initially ecstatic about moving. He was initially somewhat depressed and struggling with sleep, among other things, but I could tell within the first fifteen minutes of him being there that he was calming down. After 6 months, he is thriving, eating & sleeping well, socializing and even joking with the staff and other residents!! We cannot thank the team here enough! My dad is so happy and well-taken care of and we are so grateful to all of the staff for their kindness and support throughout the last several months! They always keep us informed and we are so comforted knowing he is in good hands! Our visits are always great and they could not be more accommodating. We have had a great experience and are so grateful to have been connected with this team!

[name removed] and her team provided loving care to my mother-in-law. [name removed] is very knowledgeable medically as well and diagnosed and helped my mom-in-law recover from a serious infection. In addition, [name removed] and her team were always caring towards family members. We are so grateful and comforted and thank you for your care.

Valencia Home's current care team has really set the bar for other homes to achieve. My grandmother was a special woman and deserved the best. I know she was in the best hands with real care and dedication from the Manger, [name removed], herself to every caregiver. The home is lovely in itself but what's a home without the people that make it what it is daily. [names removed] much thanks for everything you do.

The love and selflessness of each of you showed to [name removed] and our family was incredible and unsurpassed. Your care definitely extended her life and gave her the best 90 plus days possible. I have worked with a number of homes in the Phoenix area in my work with a local hospice organization. I’ve been visiting The Valencia Home for some time to visit a couple of residents . The home itself is beautiful, the caretakers are warm and truly interested in making the residents feel cares for and special. I have seen resident engagement activities that are far and above what I have seen in other homes, both in terms of organized activities like music and in informal activities such as one on one caregiver interaction with individuals. I highly recommend this community to anyone who is considering placement for a loved one!

Because I live in a different state, it’s difficult for me to see my grandmother often. On top of that, I can’t just call her house phone anymore due to her age. What I appreciate most about The Valencia House is they truly go above and beyond with communication! All I need to do is reach out a day or so ahead (sometimes not even that) and I’m able to FaceTime with her! It’s truly so special because as she gets older and more forgetful, seeing my face helps her remember faster! Very thankful that [name removed] particularly goes the extra mile. The video time is priceless. Aside from that, when I was able to visit in person, they were very careful in regards to visitors due to COVID. I TRULY appreciated their safety measures and view that as a sign of respect to the sweet women living there!

My mother throughly enjoy her time at Valencia. The staff takes top notch care for her and shows concern and compassion. I'm forever grateful that she has caring and knowledge staff looking after her. They easy to get along with, always present and explain everything regarding my mother's care to me. I recommend Valencia for anyone that prefers an all women home. This feature makes me feel most comfortable. The benefit for this type of home in that it’s a smaller setting is the way they can accommodate and customize your stay better than other facilities. I happen to be a picky eater but I can always count on the caregivers to make me something I prefer and they now know my likes and dislikes so well I hardly Have to ask for the substitutions. This home has all levels of care and with my situation I want to do as much for myself as possible. The caregivers will help me but let me still live my life and do things for myself. That is important to me. The home is very clean and we all get to to know each other and the staff has been very good to me.

My has been at The Valencia House in February "21. It wasn't my choice, but recommended for safety. Mom is 88 with mobility issues. The staff there has been kind , caring and communicative with me. I've always found her clean and in fresh clothes and as engaged as she wished to be that day. It's a hard decision, but happy that mom is there! Thank you Valencia House staff!

My mother lives at The Valencia Home. She has been there for almost two years and is very well cared for. With a maximum of ten residents and two care givers on duty there is lots of personal attention. Having all women residents also works out very well. We highly recommend The Valencia Home!

When my mother had a fall while living at home she ended up in the hospital which led us to looking into a care home. Valencia is very clean and beautifully kept with caregivers that not only take excellent care of her but they go the extra mile. They take pride in their work and it shows. My mom gets exercise with the fun activities they do and we really appreciate that to help her with her strength. Valencia Home is recommended!

Valencia Care Home is the experience level and expectations I have for my moms care. I have high expectations for my moms care. She has a Alzheimer’s and needs one on one care and attention that many care homes and facilities do not provide. Mom was in a top notch resort type memory care and was the worst experience anyone should go through. Please take caution when looking for your loved ones care home. [name removed]is the best and has the best Caregiver Manager [name removed]. She is the key to my moms care. [name removed]is on top of mom’s medical needs, how to make mom feel special, be involved, and keeps me in the know of moms care. [name removed]is patient, kind and proactive. I know mom is safe, well taken care of. I’m grateful for her to manage Valencia.

The staff at Valencia House are top notch. They are very supportive, understanding and accessible. The house is clean, and I feel confident my Mom is being taken care of well.

During covid the activities were amazing. They planted raised gardens made birdhouses and did a lot of outside activities. They provided a family-like atmosphere, they were warm understanding, and very friendly I would absolutely recommend this community to others

The caregivers at North Scottsdale Retreat cared for our mother with kindness, compassion, professional expertise and thoughtfulness. They went above and beyond their "job" and treated her as one of their own. We are so grateful and appreciative of their work.

My mother just moved in to North Scottsdale Retreat, and we are very pleased with the staff's efforts to learn about her needs and preferences. The manager is responsive, and caregivers have been patiently assisting her - and her family - to adjust to this very new experience. I appreciate that caregivers encourage her to be out of her room and around others so she is not isolated. We look forward to the Retreat community becoming a part of our family.

Valencia Home has a beautiful home feel to it. Nice living room and dining area with lots of windows. Care givers have a good awareness of my Mom's needs. We have found the home to be accommodating to individual needs. They do a great job to work through any issues that may come up.
