I am happy to be in a place that has a Parkinson's support group. I am happy to have access to information and people that I can relate to.

I've been performing music for the residence at Encore Ellicott City for a number of years, and the activities and administrative staff are extremely friendly and passionately hard working. You can tell they love their job and the smiles on the residents faces reflect this!

There was one issue regarding cleanliness of my loved one's bathroom, but they immediately addressed it after I complained. No further issues since then. My loved one seems to be well taken care of, neat and clean. Her hair is done. Her bed is always made up. The staff are always working when I visit. Sometimes they are sitting with the patients in the community space, keeping them company. My loved one does complain about the food sometimes, but she can be hard to please.

What we really like about Lorien Harmony Hall is that I feel she is well cared for, and she is comfortable and safe. Harmony Hall isn't the newest or most modern of the facilities I toured, but ultimately I chose it because of the staff. They are incredibly friendly and caring. They all love my mother, and take the time to get to know her, and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

Very nice tour. Not a bad place but they probably have very little help as well. It is not as new & shiny as [facility name removed] but that doesn't mean anything!

My friend's mother resided at Lorien Harmony Hall for over three years. The care she received there was top-notch! Staffers [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed]deserve special mention for their kindness and skill.

As the friend of someone whose Mom was a resident in assisted living and hospice, I can attest to the excellent care that Lorien caregivers and staff provided. Caregivers and staff were attentive and treated their patients like family. I would recommend this facility highly.

My mom is there and she is extremely happy; she gets the best care. The socialization and all the activities they provide for residents is wonderful. The meals are outstanding, I'm quite jealous actually. I would highly recommend Lorien Bel Air for anyone looking for assisted living for a parent.

They basically deliver what they claim they would deliver. I think they are pretty up-front with everything. There are no hidden fees or costs that I was unprepared for. As reflected with the ratings I gave, their services have exceeded my expectations. The whole experience has been very pleasant.

We toured this facility during the height of covid and they were very flexible and let us come look at the apartment my mother would move to before we made a decision. their marketing coordinator was wonderful. We chose Lorien Taneytown because it is the closest facility to us and it is in a very small town with a country community so it is a more intimate experience. It seems like there is a higher staff to resident ratio as well. The staff were excellent at helping my mom work through some issues she had from her previous facility and she is doing great now. The value does seem to be more reasonable. The décor is beautiful and updated and it smells great as well. They have a nursing home attached so you can Segway into nursing care from assisted living if needed. I would highly recommend them to others looking.

Lorien was wonderful for my mother. The caring staff and activities and beautiful facility made us feel at home. I recommend Lorien Bel Air. 5 stars.

Lovely facility with very large units. All units include kitchenettes. Walls seem well insulated without much sound travel. Nice dining room with menu choices. Lots of activities and entertainment options.

My grandmother is a resident at Encore. She has been there throughout the pandemic and we could not be happier with how they have handled everything. They have kept her safe, healthy and happy over the last year. The staff is caring and attentive and responsive any time I have a question. We are very thankful that our loved one is there!

My mom was at this facility and they provided the best care for her. All the staff was extremely knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Although her stay was during the covid pandemic we did not get to enjoy all the amenities associated with the facility. But the facility was always maintained and very clean. The staff did a tremendous job of adhering to all the regulations and policies associated with dealing with the covid requirements. A top-notch facility.

We chose this community because of the convenience, it was very close to my residence and plus my dad had been here so it was familiar. The room sizes are good, very spacious. She had a one bedroom so you have a separate living area from the bedroom which is nice. My favorite part about this community would be the overall friendliness of the staff members. I would recommend Encore at Turf Valley.

The staff at the Lorien of Bel Air was very helpful with assisting my family with all the procedures and preparations required for getting my father ready for his entry into Assisted Living at their facility. This was no easy feat during a pandemic, but their professionalism made it as painless as possible. They were patient and thorough with answering all our many questions and concerns while making this difficult decision for our loved one. I feel confident that we have chosen the right facility for our Dad to ensure he receives the best care and will have the best quality of life possible.

The outstanding professional, compassionate care my family and I are receiving from The Lorien Bel Air rehab and now assisted living should be recognized. My aunt's health has been declining as she moved from rehab to assisted living. It has been extremely challenging during the COVID-19 epidemic. Also, my aunt has been very resistant to the changes. [Name removed] and staff have gone above and beyond to move her to her current room and routine. She continues to provide my aunt and me support and guidance. I would also like to recognize the work of rehab lead, [name removed], and her staff, the doctor, nurses, activities staff, and dieticians. I thank you all. God bless!

If you want a second family that will truly care about your loved one, research no further- Harmony Hall is the right choice! I did EXTENSIVE research before transferring my mom from rehab to Harmony Hall, and I couldn't be happier. I was impressed with the staff before the pandemic, but now I am honestly just blown away by the level of commitment by the entire staff - not only to my mom's heath and safety, but to her happiness and desire to stay socially engaged. The amount of communication with the families during this quarantine has been simply remarkable and appreciated more than I can express. The staff has gone above and beyond to keep my mom connected to her family through video calls and now even an in--person visit by my sister and nieces from a safe distance. I look forward to being able to fly back to Maryland and see my mom and thank the staff. Harmony Hall is an absolutely beautiful facility with an incredibly caring staff. I was extremely worried when COVID-19 first hit and was scared for my mom and the entire elderly population across the country, but it all changed when one of her nurses told me on the phone that she loves my mom "as if she were her mom."

My mother and father both resided there. My father is still in assisted living my mother was there for hospice (she passed [date removed]). The staff at this facility is amazing, I must thank [name removed] for her ability to make anything happen. She moved my folks together so they could at least be together in my mom's last months. She has been as I have said lucky rabbit food. The whole group their, nurses, aides, maintenance, dining services, and any all I've forgotten have been more than great. I can't say enough about this facility and staff.

The facility is very clean and well run. My mom is getting good care and she loves the therapists for P.T. and O.T. The recreation team has done a fabulous job of entertaining the residents. [Name removed] has been a great help to me from the time we decided to move mom in. [Name removed] is always ready to help me with any issues. I love her energy and friendliness. Lorien has done a great job during this pandemic. I am grateful for all of the precautions they have taken to keep my loved one safe.
