It's a very good place to have a loved one. There is a sense of relief that I know someone is there, should she need anything. They 6 plus floors. They bring therapy animals in for the residents. They provide socials, crafts, bingo, exercise class, go for walks in the gardens, etc. Housekeeping comes once a week. They offer transportation to appointments or store if needed and sign up.

We toured with Tapestry Senior Living and the facility was absolutely beautiful. This was our second choice. The only downfall for us was it was very large so we were scared our loved one may get lost. We were looking for something a little smaller.

Met with [name removed], very friendly but was rushed at the time due to double booking of tour. She had her assistant take us on the tour and showed us 2 apartments, one a Studio and a one bedroom. I thought that the studio apt was too small for me and that the one bedroom was also too small, room only for bed, end tables, bureau and tv. Other room (kitchen) had enough room for small table and chairs and that is about all that you could fit in without over crowding the kitchen area. Otherwise, very quiet, the staff was very friendly and even the chef came out of the kitchen and introduced himself to us. Thought it was too quiet and did not see any activity rooms. If you are looking for a quiet place with no one bothering you, then this is the place. A $2500 one time fee is required, use for maintenance and upkeep of facility.

Diverse staff with many amenities. The consideration for veterans is greatly appreciated. The tour was informative and professional. Very nice common areas with lots of light. The facility was affordable after the discount for veterans and there were many options to consider.

This community is not organized. I know that it is hard right now due to the pandemic and I know that they are trying to make changes but it is not organized. They need more employees. We put my loved one here expecting more activities and they do not have many activities at all going on. The people that take care of them day in and day out they are great and take good care of my loved one. But its just one person doesn't know what the other is doing. they need more staff, they recently just hired a new activity director and a new food services person and they are getting settled in. This is a beautiful and clean community but we had some issues in the beginning and things are still trying to settle, things are getting better.

This refurbished hotel has an energetic vibe, very good food and a lively actvities program. However, the actual "assistance" part of this assisted living facility is a work in progress. You really have to stay on top of the staff and advocate for your lived one to get the support you are paying for. If you can do that, the support is fairly good.

Overall experience is good. They do have some issues with staffing sometimes and the aids from the agencies aren't the best. My mom doesn't like the food very much but what she does eat she seems to like. She wishes they would bring her meals to her with no charge. She has problems with her ears when she goes to the dining room. She doesn't participate in activities. The rent has been raised several times in the 2 years she's been there. I do believe it's a good facility but I feel there could be some small changes that would help everyone.

At the end, we started with hospice services at Tapestry. After issues with medications, we moved her to the Hospice House. I wish we had done that sooner. Rooms and common areas kept reasonably clean. The overall friendliness varied by staff. Staff at Hospice found a large pressure sore on her buttocks and commented on how dirty she was. Activities were limited. A lot of time was spent watching TV, which I doubt they comprehended

Our move in process was pitiful, I was highly disappointed. We felt ignored, poorly communicated to, and it was quite haphazard. I am referring to the actual day of move in, not the process leading up to move in. I have remained disappointed, to say the least. Communication went from little to none. I emailed and called regarding several instances I was co fused or disheartened with. The response given to those issues was mostly shifting the blame back to my mother or myself. Eventually I just gave up. The staff changes a lot. Weekend staff are often agency and unfortunately unhelpful for concerns, understandably so. I hesitate to recommend Tapestry to anyone. It would greatly depend on the individual and their ability to care for themselves.

The community table never clean, floor in apartment needs soap not just water, but when house keeping is called they do come. If the aids would go into the apartments and see what is needed the place would be cleaner. Some staff is nice some are sleeping in a chair somewhere in the common area. Employee turnover is the biggest problem. They never get to know anyone well enough. Staff needs to pay closer attention to our loved ones. Getting off their cell phones would help too. Food is not very good and Tennant's don't know enough to request other food than what is served. The activities that I've seen agave been pretty good but not frequent enough. I have nothing to compare Tapestry to when it comes to the value for cost

The friendliness of the staff is varied widely. Too hard to rate overall. Some were awful and some were all you could ask for. Things at Tapestry all depended upon who was working. Some sat and stared into their phone while ignoring the residents. Others were truly caring and conscientious. My mom had severe dementia so she couldn't participate in a lot of activities but the activities director found things that she could do.

It seems to be a converted embassy suites. Didn't get to see everything due to covid. Everyone was nice and the room was nice but the location was the main issue. Not close enough to family.

My loved one is currently a resident at Tapestry Senior Living Moon Township and we have had several issues at this facility. The cleanliness hasn't been good. We do the cleaning and until recently, the showering/grooming on most days. We change the bedding, clean the bathroom, and have to request other things to be done. As far as the friendliness, some of the staff are great and very nice to my loved one. Others try to get away with doing very little. We never see the upper level staff unless we initiate it. The Head Manager is not nice, which is also the same feeling expressed by others here, and has a low knowledge level with healthcare. For quality of care, it took over a year to have the correct care provided to our loved one. The food, our loved one has no complaints on, except that the portions aren't enough. We encourage our loved one to ask for more, but our loved one does not. My loved one doesn't participate in the activities. There is minimal value for the money at this facility. I would like to move my loved one, but do not because of my loved one's age and also do not want to change surroundings/add to my loved one's confusion. Instead, one of our family members goes to the facility EVERYDAY. My complaints about this facility are the norm, not the exception.

The sales pitch was amazing, but what they pitched was not provided at all. My dad was completely healthy and independent when he moved into this facility. When that changed and he needed help/assistance, it just didn't happen. The outdoor/garden area was very nice and dad loved being outside. When he was no longer able to go out on his own and needed assistance to do so, they never helped him go outside. They told us they would, but they did not. They just didn't have enough help here, period. Staff turnover was ridiculous, the staff didn't last. I can understand why, it's just terrible. It was hard to see him in this environment. He often wore the same clothes, sometimes stained with food, for days in a row. I'm not talking a spill from lunchtime earlier that day, it was obvious that his clothes weren't changed for days. There were NO activities. The activities were one of the main reasons we chose this place, but what was promised never happened. We didn't expect anything extraordinary, just what we were sold and told would be provided. But none of it happened. I called at least twice a week to discuss complaints and issues, but changes were never made. We asked for 2 things for dad: for him to be safe and for him to have activities. And they failed at both. Towards the end, we were looking at moving him to another facility or bringing him home with a full time caretaker, but he passed before we could do that. The hardest part was, being a Memory Care patient, he was content. He didn't realize all of these unacceptable things. Which means he wasn't able to communicate them to us, but it became evident over time that things weren't right or being done right. Which, part of me is glad that he didn't realize it. But it was hard to see and I feel like I failed him. To this day, if I drive by this place on my way to somewhere, I see it and I get a sick to my stomach feeling about the whole experience. Not only was our experience here horrible, but I spoke to so many other residents and families who felt the same way. I never actually heard anything good from anyone here. I would never recommend them to friends and family.

The Tapestry facility was an old hotel converted into a senior care facility. Their Memory Care unit had very narrow hallways. The only social gathering spaces in Memory Care were very small. It just felt too impersonal, and there was not enough space - it was too small. I was more impressed with the Assisted Living side. But I was not impressed with the Memory Care side at all.

I would tell others that the staff members on the front line that have the communication with the public such as marketing and sales are over and above. The people who are on the front line for care are either not trained well or have no heart, they were not attentive. We had many issues with the care that my father received here and ended up moving him out. I would not recommend.
