Heritage Grove Senior Living

I am impressed by the caliber of staff that are at Heritage. Each one of them are kind and care for my sister deeply. Any questions I have are answered immediately. My sister came from her home in Homer city and had a difficult time transitioning at first. The team over there could not have been more compassionate and helpful throughout the move. Thank you!

Mom moved in last week and is very pleased so far. She likes her large and comfy room, the activities and nursing staff. The entire team was super helpful and accommodating throughout the transition. Happy she is safe and cared for in a nice environment.

Dad has been there now for almost a year and we are very pleased with his overall stay. staff are nice and accommodating. Its small so you cant get lost. Food is good and activities are engaging. I'm giving this place a 5 star overall.

Our dad move in around 2 weeks ago to heritage Grove At Arrowood, and we are very pleased with everything so far. dad seems very content and Happy. His room is clean and large. The staff are friendly and attentive. Food is good and portions are sizable. Overall very nice and clean assisted living with a good group of staff working there.

My dad has been in Memory Care for almost a year now, after caring for him at home for a while. What i appreciate most is the attentiveness and care of staff with [Name Removed] in specific. If there is an issue they notify me right away. The residents look well taken care of at all times. The daily activities are amazing and keep the residents stimulated. I am happy we chose Heritage Grove.

My names Mary Goode . I have been visiting my mom Anna Lunz since March. At Heritage Grove at Penn Hills .It is a very clean community. And not only the staff, but the residents also are very good to me and my mom. Donna In charge of activities, keeps us having fun with bingo and alot of other activities. It's not quiet here because of all the laughter!

My brother has been a resident in the memory care section for almost two years and we are very pleased with the facility and the staff. Any concerns I may have are always immediately addressed. The food is freshly prepared and delicious.

The staff was always ready to help, answered questions, and they always had a smile. My brother was comfortable and he was well taken care of. I had to stop in after my brother passed to pick up some of his things. The staff was more than helpful and they even found a phone charger for me so I could charge my phone. This went beyond the call of duty!

[name removed] the administrator is a Gem. The entire staff at Heritage Grove at Penn Hills deserve a medal. We have seen some nice enhancements since the change of ownership from Brookdale such as nice community events, and better food overall.

Staff Are very kind and friendly. They take good care of my mom and her needs. Activities are great and keep the residents very busy. Food is great on most days. I will say there is always plenty of food and its made fresh. Kitchen staff are nice as well. Overall I would highly recommend for someone who is looking for a cozy, clean, and friendly environment for a loved one.

5 for all - the staff was awesome! The price is great and the food and atmosphere is very family and home feeling.

We decided to placed our sister at Heritage Grove at Penn Hills due to the fact that its small and the staff really pay attention to details. The larger places you can get lost in shuffle. Everyone was exceptionally nice and friendly.

Best place for assisted living in the Pittsburgh and suburbs area. Mom has been there for almost a year and we are very happy overall. Activities does a great job keeping everyone stimulated. Aides are compassionate.

We toured last week and were impressed by the fresh scent throughout the building and warm environment. everyone that we met was very sweet and smiley. Will be making a decision for my sister early winter but i think Heritage grove will be the choice we choose.

Our mother has been at Heritage Grove at Indiana for about a month. Like most older people, our mother didn't want to leave her home. Everyone we have met has been very nice and welcoming. The nursing staff, activities staff and food service staff are very nice to work with. Our mother had a short stay in hospital and was telling people in the hospital, how nice Heritage Grove is and the staff is nice.

It was a difficult decision to place my mom in long term care. My family is so grateful for the care and compassion she is receiving at Heritage Grove at Penn Hills . The staff is very accommodating and understanding. Our questions and concerns are addressed immediately! A special shout out to [name removed]....she's the best!!!!

Heritage Grove excepted my Dad In the middle of [date removed] from Indiana Hospital. He was in and out of the hospital three times and it was obvious that he needed 24 hour care. Because of our Dad's health conditions, we were unable to give him the care that he needed. However, Heritage Grove gave him outstanding care. I mean they really took care of him! Even when my brother and I were unable to visit, we would receive phone calls from the staff with cares and updates. And we could call at anytime and speak to one of the care team members and they did their best to give us the answers to needed questions about his care. When we did visit our Dad he was always sitting up and looking as good as he could with his issues. Six months into his stay he passed peacefully with no pain. We are very thankful to Heritage Grove for the outstanding, yet very difficult time that they gave our Dad. Better care than I could have imagined in his circumstances.

Everyone has been very helpful answering questions. Talk with my mom. My mother seems happier being there. She been going to therapy and has improved with walking. She said she really liked the food and actually goes out to eat with everyone. Noticed the other residents there too are nice her room mate get along well others always friendly with a hello when I go in. Remember one nurse came on to check my moms sugar level and she was really friendly told my mom she been doing good with it. Seen my mom smile was really nice.

All the staff is friendly and helpful. I can visit anytime and as much as I want. The rooms are nice. Medications are given appropriately. And meals are presented in accordance to every patients dietary needs. I also like how the residents are brought out into a community room where there is a television and they can interact. There is a doctor on staff who rounds 2-3 times per week if the families choose him for their care.

My loved one Resides in the memory care part of this community. The staff are nice and attentive. They seem to be trained well in dealing with residents with dementia. Rooms are smaller but very well decorated and painted. [name removed] and [name removed] the directors are nice and communicative regarding any changes or updates. Overall nice place for the elderly.
