We are very happy with HeartHbomes at Bay Ridge. She seems to be very happy. We had placed her in a facility that she wasn't happy with previously. She says the staff here are so nice to her. Every time we go and visit she is very engaged. There were workers and residents sitting on the front one time when I dropped her off after taking her out. They were very personal and asked how her visit was. So far so good at this facility.

Great value, home-like setting, all of the staff were good and several were awesome and developed special relationships with my dad. They were excellent at communicating with me about my dad's needs. I am so grateful I found a wonderful place for my dad at an affordable price - highly recommend. Overall we have been very pleased with HeartHomes, right when we came to visit this community we felt very comfortable. It may not be the newest community with the biggest amenities but it feels very comfortable, it feels like a home. We like that it has a small amount of residents so all the staff know them all. The location is really good and they have two really nice front porches that our loved one likes to sit outside at. They get to plant vegetables in the spring, and they have bingo. Our loved one is really well taken care of and we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

We had a good tour at HeartHomes at Piney Orchard. It was just too expensive for our family.

We like that it is a smaller community, and the care takers are attentive. They also at times do seem short staffed, and they are not able to offer services because of the pandemic. It is frustrating because they are not able to bring doctors in regularly give the residents hair cuts or get them to their dentist appointments

There have been a few problems that were immediately addressed, some on my sister's part, some on the staff. The staff all love my sister, which isn't always easy. They are very caring even when she gives them her annoyance. They keep me in touch or call with any questions. I go there at least once a week unannounced to check on my sister. Its in a beautiful setting with a lake behind to take walks around. There are numerous places to eat which my sister loves to get out and go when she is feeling up to it. It is very convenient for visits from family and her friend still in the area. We use the doctor they have that comes on sight once a month and the pharmacy that delivers to the facility. I do wish the pharmacy would do 90 day supplies instead of 30 day supplies so that is costing more than we were paying before she became a resident there. I was told it was because she was in a Maryland facility. Don't know if this is true but didn't know before signing. There is also a charge for someone to pick up the tests (UTI, etc.) from HeartHomes that are done at Hearthomes which I was not aware of til it happened the first time. This may be true of all places; that I don't know but I don't like that.

I really liked that the facility feels like a home. It fits my Mom really well. Her room is nice and bright with it's own bathroom. It is a pretty small room, but the overall place makes up for size of room. Staff seems very nice and caring. The patient population of just 16 and the layout is nice as it's not intimidating and is easy to get around. I have not been there and seen any activities so can't really rate. And my Mom regularly says the food is good and she likes the staff. I feel like my Mom is in the right place for her.

We considered moving to Hearthomes, it is a beautiful community. My mom thought it was too far away from me and she wanted a larger community.

I think the place is very nice, its clean and my mother has a nice room to herself and her own bath. I would like to see more activities, someone days they don't have much going on but my mother does not mind, she's okay with it. The meals are good, my mother said they feed her too much so I tell her to just finish what she can.

I never got the opportunity to tour this facility but they were very pleasant on the phone. Unfortunately, the rate was higher than my mother could afford.

The staff seem to be very caring and compassionate toward the residents. Some weekends they have been understaffed. I think they need a cook that doesn't also need to aide the residents. Just got a new manager that doesn't seem to engage the family members as well as former manager.

We are still kind of new and in the adjustment period, but they have been great with trying to help me along and get my loved one to understand that she needs to be there. I would like to see more engagement between the staff and the residents, like with the activities. Overall it has been pretty good.

We are good with them. She likes the people there. They take good care of her. We liked the overall feel of the place, it was nice, and had a positive, happy atmosphere. They have done a pretty good job so far.

Overall we have had a very positive experience with HeartHomes at Pasadenaand would highly recommend them. My mother is doing well there and has no complaints. The only area I have noticed where they could improve would be to have a few more activities. Other than that everything has been great.

I give the overall rating of this property 4 stars. I rate the Cleanliness 4 stars, I rate the Friendliness 5 stars since they were really friendly, I rate the value 4 stars, I rate the Care Services 4 stars. I can't rate the activities because I have not witnessed the activities, I don't know much about it. This is a nice small assisted living facility. My first impression was that I liked that it only had one level. There were no stairs or elevators.

We've had a very good experience with HeartHomes at Piney Orchard so far! The facility itself is well kept and clean, and has a warm comfortable atmosphere. The staff are all very caring and friendly, and the residents seem happy.

The staff at HeartHomes was very helpful. Ilka met with me quickly and gave me a comprehensive tour and overview of the facility. The staff worked with me to get Mother moved very quickly into the facility. The facility is very "homey" and the staff has been friendly and helpful. It has been a difficult transition for Mother and the staff has been supportive of both Mother and me. I like that the facility is small, it is close to me and there is a doctor available if needed.

The home I picked for my Mom is a great "fit" for her. The other residents are very nice, Mom because friends with a lady that was also a nurse many many years ago. The staff are very considerate and helpful. All the way from the owner I had met when Mom first entered, to Ilka, Vicky, Angela and the others. They are also very nice to my Mom and the other residents.
