My mom and dad both live at Carriage Crossing Arcola. From the moment they have been there, they have loved it they both live together on the assisted-living side of the community. I couldn’t be more happy with a care and the love they have shown both of them. Our dad suffers from dementia, but they get to live together. They have been married almost 65 years and to see the love that they still share and get to be with. Each other, means the world to the rest of our family..

Overall, the facility is great. There are sometimes when there are few workers staffed, but normally that isn't an issue. My mother reports that the food is good, not great, but that is to be expected. I do wish that they had more activities and more of a variety of activities.

The location was a part of the decision. Along with staff, building, food, transportation and all of the great activities! My parents can be busy or just relax. Like being on a cruise. Safe clean environment. Friendly caring staff. Better than their private home.Food, laundry, cleaning, and medication is taken care of. Lots less work and worry for the family.

All the staff in which I've interacted with have been extremely friendly, inviting, and willing to help in anyway they can. The building is well maintained & provides a warm environment to visit loved ones. The staff seems like they go out of their way to know all the residents and their family. They are all quick to ask if anything is needed. The staff have a lot of responsibilities each day but they have a smile on their faces and ready to lend a hand I would definitely recommend Lacey Creek to others.

Everyone was extremely friendly. With the activities - non applicable. Mom did not participate because of her eyesight. Based on other places, Heritage Woods was more cost effective for us. We would not have been able to afford the other places. We would recommend this community to other families.
