Very informative tour, facility clean, everyone very friendly and the units were lovely - all in excellent condition.

My dad has been a resident at Riviera for 2 years. One year in Independent living and one year in Assisted Living. The staff is incredible and truly a blessing for us. They take pride in the cleanliness and care of the facility. The food is amazing and dining room is beautiful. My dad loves his apartment and he is truly happy here! They treat him with respect and kindness. They listen and work with me if I have any concerns or special needs. I trust them to take care of one of the most special people in my life.

At 88 yrs old, it was time for my mom to leave her rancher and not have to worry about home repairs anymore. She was the original owner since 1966, so it wasn't so easy to convince her it was time to move. I made an appointment and we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we were shown 5 available apartments. We all liked one in particular, so we put a deposit to hold it. A few days later we went forward with giving the move in fee and first month's rent. I quickly scheduled movers and packed up her house, so before you knew it, she had moved in. Everyone is super friendly, all the staff, and the other renters. The meals are really good, you get a menu and can choose off the rotating meals, plus the salad bar is always available. My mom is settling in nicely, she already knew a few people but is meeting more every day. As she does more activities I know she will feel even more at home. Her apartment is large, sunny and very comfortable. I feel so relieved she is around other people and in such a caring environment.

My mom has been at Morningside for a little over 2 months. She is a very shy person. However, since she has been at Morningside she has flourished. She is in contact with other residents throughout the day. She absolutely loves sitting in the rockers on the front porch area. She has a great apartment and seems to be better, emotionally and physically, in this short period of time. I have met the staff and would recommend them to anyone. These people love what they do and pet these residents as if they were all their mother or daddy. I am so thankful that my mom is here. Should I come to the point of needing this type living situation, I will certainly join her there!! Here is a shout out to all the staff, nurses, cooks, everyone......THANK YOU for sharing your love and care with my mom!

The Haven & The Laurels in Stoneoak is awesome. The facility is always clean and the people are very courteous. The employees work very hard to take care of our elderly people. My husband & I are so impressed with care that is given. Every one in the facility takes time to help the elderly and give them hope & encouragement. The RN takes care of the meds and the aides pay very close attention to what they are doing. The chef cooks great meals and you have many options. The facilities has many activities for them. Exercise& crafts. Walmart and movies. This facility really gets 5 stars for our family. Best place ever!

The Gardens is also an option for Dad. Currently, there is availability for a 1 bedroom at $3K per mo. If Dad needed the highest level of care (level 4) in assisted living the cost would be an additional $2700 per mo. The apartments are unfurnished. It's required to bring a bed, chair & nightstand but all other furniture is optional. They provide a microwave and fridge. Basic cable is included as well as laundry, housekeeping and food. The dining hall is open all day from 7am to 6pm which is a lovely option. Residents can eat when they want to vs being called to meal time. She said many residents thrive with this option. Wednesday nights Communion is delivered to Catholic Residents as well as Rosary services. The Gardens is a "for profit" residence. It does offer rehab services but medicare would only pay for his PT, OT nursing services. The apartment and add-ons would still be out of pocket.

The Gables is great! Mom has settled in well and has made good friends. There are many social activities to choose from and the food is excellent. Our family is very pleased that we chose The Gables.

As my dad's oldest son who helped him choose and move into Morningside of Sterling, I was very pleased and impressed with the competitive pricing, the modern look and overall cleanliness of the facility, the resident oriented amenities, the helpful and friendly staff, and the well structured daily activities that are geared to ensure everyone is provided many diverse activities to lead a full normal life. There were several assisted living facilities in the area but this immediately attracted my dad's attention of a possible new home where he would be happy and comfortable. I loved and was very impressed in how the dining facility is operated like a first class restaurant. Residents come in, sit down, order meals, eat, and get up to leave, the dining facility does everything else. I had an opportunity to sit down with my dad and have a lunchtime meal with several residents who were also WWII Veterans like my dad and thought the food to be tasty, appealling, and filling. The well equipped 24/7 Bistro that was always filled with hot/cold drinks, sandwiches, yogurts, jello, fruit cocktail, cookies, fresh fruit, and ice cream for the enjoyment and comfort of its residents. I feel like this is a true Five Star Facility.

New Seasons at New Britain was beautiful. The staff was friendly and informative. The rooms are spacious. I even got to speak to some of the residence, who all said they enjoyed living there.

excellent -- [name removed] was very good about explaining the community. We like the fact that it is a CCRS community. Forwood was clean with many places to sit alone or with people when you want too. Staff seems to intermingle with tenants. Room outside to sit and enjoy the nice weather. Walking path nearby. Very impressed with site.

Peace of Mind! That's what comes to mind when I think of the love and care mom is receiving at Morningside. After touring several area Assisted Living facilities, interacting with staff, and observing their interaction with residents, I knew Morningside of Concord was by far our best choice. We have not been disappointed! Such a loving, caring group!

We were very impressed with this facility and the information we received. Not ready yet but will probably pick this assisted living center when ready.

My mother is very happy with her new home. The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. The facility is very clean and has no odor to it. My mom's bathroom could use more attention but I think that is my mother's fault not Somerford's. Her room is spacious and comfortable, decorated with all her personal things to make her feel like it is truly a home. Most all the staff addresses my mom by name and are readily accessible to family members. My mom, who can be picky, enjoys the food. She also participates in the many daily activities. You can go outside in nice weather and they have at least 1 outing a week. Somerford went out of their way to make my mom feel welcome, include her in activities and introduce her to fellow residents. They even sent her flowers! Overall we would recommend this place if you are considering assisted living.

I liked the all one level living and outdoor patio. I liked the large community room with a nod to looking like a real home. I like the separate entrance to the unit.

Nice apartment units. Located near hospital. Not all units have nice views. Courtyard views are higher. Food by known chef. Assisted living through home health care. Not in facility.

Having gone to [removed] first, the “look” of HeartFields was, admittedly, not as crisp. However, mom currently resides right across the street! So it wouldn’t be a far move for mom. Oh but then we met [name removed] who was engaging with a resident and they were cutting up and laughing. Little did we know [name removed] would be giving my brother and I each two hugs during our short tour. We met the chef who boasted of his meals and then, when the residents all came back from lunch, we met [name removed] who gave me her card. [Name removed] who was with us the whole time barely got to tell us her “stuff” because the staff and residents truly did it for her. It might sound corny, but that place truly has “heart”. We haven’t made our decision yet, because both of my visits were at great places. But I was pleasantly surprised at HeartFields. Never judge a book by its cover!

Ashwood Place has been such a blessing to our family. Everyone working there goes above and beyond to make everyday special for the residents. We are especially thankful to know that mom is eating well, resting well and is in a safe environment.

5 stars based on tour only. The facility is being updated so apartments are fresh and modern. The tour guide knew everyone we passed, talking to them. When asking how they were, none complained, all said they were ok or better. There were many residents actively playing Bingo in the main room. In the memory care common room, all were there watching tv. Smelled clean. There is an outdoor patio for the memory care residents as well as a path around the outside for those in assisted living. It's not a garden, but the lawns are relatively well groomed and there are benches every so often to rest.
