Five Star Senior Living

I would recommend this community, this will will be a good fit for most people. My loved one seems satisfied with everything. The staff checks on my loved one each day. The food is enjoyed by loved one. The communication with the staff is very good, and they keep us informed on what is going on.

It is a clean community.

We have been very pleased with our experience so far with Five Star Premier Residences. My dad said the staff members are nice and the food is great. It is a lot nicer than his previous facility, it is more home-like rather than institutional. I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking, he is happy here.

My experiences are based during the pandemic. Pauline and I have been able to have great interactions. She calls regularly about my mom. The community sends an email to the family with updates and a monthly calendar of activities.

Good tour. Nice large private studio rooms with enclosed patio's with doors from the rooms leading out to them. Large enclosed courtyard is between all the buildings. Common areas looked nice. Pricing is not all inclusive, so you need to add up the pieces.

We chose Summit Place at the time because they were ready to go, they had a doctor and all resources in place to get it all done quickly. It also seemed like an organized place where my mom would do well. I would recommend to others looking.

Mother did like this community. [name removed] was accommodating and answered all questions. After we view a few more properties we know that Palms of Lake Spivey is an option. For sure. You know you never get a 2nd chance to make a first impression. Well the receptionist was Mother's first impression. She did not greet Mother as she entered. Did not say one word. Not one. She checked temperatures of others. Not mother. So a rude unprofessional receptionist was our first impression. Yet beyond her... we were pleased.

The residents mostly have been dining in their rooms because of covid, and our loved one seems to be enjoying the meals. Our only negative we have to say is that we would like to see better communication regarding the health of our loved one.

From our understanding our loved one seems to be happy with the food, and the rooms and overall layout of the community would be a five out of five.

Extravagant looking and TOOOOO expensive.

The place was nice and clean. Older facility, but well maintained. Irene was very helpful. The pricing was in my range even with the service charge for care. Interested in this option, but waiting on more information from the doctors on what will be needed and how soon.

The facility works well with you, The caretakers are really friendly, and take extra time with the residence and help work through anxiety. The rooms are nice and you don't have to share rooms, My mom enjoys the food. The staff takes care of the insurance filings for my mom also. I would recommend this facility to others.

The activities are well planned out and they have a great variety of food. The cleanliness needs to be better but the staff is really friendly. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

We chose Legacy Heights Senior Living because of the location and also the way the hallways are set up. Each hallway has their own little dining room for the residents, it is very intimate, homey setting. The room sizes here are quite adequate and what is nice is they all have a mini fridge and microwave. I have eaten here and it is good, home cooked food It has gone downhill a little bit because of COVID, everyone is having to dine in their room and meals being delivered. They have had a lot of turnover with management and staff members due to the virus. Overall, I would recommend.

the community has a secure building and we feel like mom is protected there. It is clean, the staff and the other residence are very friendly and helpful. The room sizes are great, with a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and 2 bedrooms. I would recommend this community to others.

Anita is a gem! Very friendly and provided me and my sister with lots of valuable information that will help us on our search. However, we felt it was not the place for our Mom. Although the rooms were nice, we both felt is was not the ideal place for our Mom. HeartFields Assisted Living would be ideal for so many looking for a homey feel, great facility and friendly staff. We just felt it wasn’t the one for our mom’s needs at this time.

[name removed] was a gem! Very friendly and provided me and my sister with lots of valuable information that will help us on our search. However, we felt it was not the place for our Mom. Although the rooms were nice, we felt our mom would see this facility as more of an upscale nursing facility.

We chose this facility because my mother in law needed a hoyer lift and this facility provided that. I would want others to know that the activities were great. They did a lot of encouraging which is what she needed. The food could have used some improvement, but based on the money we were happy with where she was at the time. I gave the cleanliness a lower score because when we went to visit they left soiled clothes in the bathroom or soiled napkins or wipes around the room. There were often no trash bags in the trash cans. Overall, I would recommend the community.
