Everything and everyone in this small community is helpful and informative about any issues you may have. Anything of concern is answered right away and my room is exactly perfect. My bedroom is for one or you can put two people. with bed, dishwasher, and stove. Washer and dryer is on site and just around the corner of my room. Three meals a day and portion meals to my dietary needs. Also included is physical therapy and a workout instructor that I use, as well.

My mom lives with us but when I was traveling outside the US, I needed respite care for 3 weeks. New Haven was a great fit for us and mom was well taken care of. We would definitely use New Haven again in the future if needed arises.

5 on ALL of them, they are great! Can't believe such a place exists that is so caring! However, what we like the most about the community is the longevity of staff over a period of YEARS. Director, [name removed]. She is very responsible and responsive to issues.

[name removed] is great to work with and will go out of her way to be helpful. I would recommend to others. From the little I saw, it looked like a very nice place to be, no matter what your living situation is.

The staff is very attentive to my mom. They also are very attentive and friendly to family members and visitors to the home. I've only had positive experiences with the staff.

They were 5 stars for all categories in our book. The facility and people were amazing. So friendly and helpful for everything we needed. They are a treasure

The everyday staff was very kind and helpful, and took time to get to know the residents. On the downside, no one told us much of anything when my mother moved in. All we were told about was meal times; nothing was said about housekeeping or laundry. I think they figured that would all be done by Hospice; however, Hospice did nothing until I asked the Hospice RN (on day 12) who was as supposed to be assisting my mom, and she discovered she hadn't assigned anyone yet! Another thing that bothered us in as the lack of any alternative for meals. My mom couldn't eat baked beans/pinto beans because they constipated her. All they offered instead was a can of soup. This happened for an evening meal and lunch the next day, which was not acceptable.

Everyone at New Haven was helpful and kind to my Mother. The aides checked in regularly to see if she wanted or needed anything. Someone always popped in to let her know when activities or games were to begin. She really liked that the aides washed and folded her laundry and put her clothes away. All of the aides in contact with my mom were kind and compassionate and very attentive to my mom's wants/needs. The only thing we didn't like was the lack of a suitable substitute when she couldn't eat something (specifically beans.) All they had to offer was canned chicken soup, not even a sandwich. On those occasions (2 days in a row),she ended up eating snacks she had won at Bingo. It would be great to have a more suitable alternative for times when residents cannot eat the main course. Overall, my mom had a good experience at New Haven Assisted Living.

New Haven is a small facility with both assisted living and memory care facilities. When I walked in to tour the facility, it felt like home. Placing a loved one in memory care is a hard decision but the staff there made it a bit easier. They’re not perfect, but they care and you can see it, as they interact with your loved one. The facility is clean and homey, the food is great and they have fun activities to keep your loved one engaged and busy. We have been extremely happy with the quality of care provided to our loved one.

I would rate all of the categories a 5. We are extremely happy with the quality of care our Mom has been given at New Haven! New Haven is just beautiful. It's clean, comfortable, and really feels like home. The staff is friendly, extremely attentive, and professional, all the while putting your loved ones' well-being above everything else. [name removed], the director, treats the residents like they are family. She and all the staff are a godsend, giving families the reassurance & peace of mind that they need. It's great knowing that your loved ones are being taken care of so well.

Beautiful, clean facilities with patient qualified staff to maintain it make New Haven in Floresville the perfect place for our mother.

Food and cleanliness are a top priority. The age are outstanding and continuously try to better themselves by schooling. My wife is there and is treated like a queen I can't complain about anything at this time.

My mom was only there two months and then passed away from cancer at 91. We eventually had hospice come in and they were fantastic. The facility had good food, was very clean and the staff was very respectful and responsive whenever my mom needed something which at times seemed like she needed a lot. We as family always were welcomed as we stayed with her day and night for about the last month.

My mom went unwilling and unhappily to assisted living. She is happy and understands why we needed her to be there….. New Haven is everything and more. We are happy she stays here. This is a great place.

What we like the most about New Haven is the friendliness. They are able to keep key staff for long several years, ability to communicate with the director when needs arise, their coordination with patient's doctor for appointments, food is very good. When I have expressed a need it is acted on quickly. My client is happy there!

What we like the most about the community is the friendliness of the staff members and we would recommend New Haven community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The staff was always concerned about Mom's safety, comfort, and well-being. I always felt comfortable with the staff, and knew that they appreciated our family. I highly recommend New Haven to others looking.

When we visited your facility everyone was helpful and knowledgeable about placing our father in an assisted living environment. We wanted a safe comfortable place where our father would feel welcomed and safe. Your staff was so friendly and answered all our questions. They showed dad around and made him feel at ease! We are so very happy with placing our father at your facility. We are thankful to all the wonderful staff that care for him..,

I was previously a resident at New Forest Haven Assisted Living. There have been 9 of us move out because of a resident who moved in November of 2023. He has physically assaulted one person, threatened another and the police have been called numerous times by fellow residents. Management will not make him move, but have threatened.
