I am a long time resident. I have enjoyed many activities; from paint and sip, parties, educational lectures, card games such as hand and foot, We are a very welcoming friendly community. When you meet someone in passing there is always a smile and a hello. There are beautiful grounds including koi ponds, fountains, meditation garden and a labyrinth! There is a lovely swimming pool and whirlpool to enjoy. The fitness center has individual machines to work out, and the knowledgeable staff has many different classes to attend. Also available are massage chairs, putting green, pickleball court, on site beauty salon and much more! Come check us out!

We have two fine restaurants, a full-service bar and two other venues for faster food. Menu choices are amazing, and I rarely hear a food complaint. There were 400 activities per month in 2017, when I moved in and many more have been added since then. One bi-weekly activity is called Culinary Corner, where chefs listen to and discuss residents' suggestions. We are currently engaged in our annual Silver Games, a three-week series of 29 competitions for Olympic-style medals. About half the events are sedentary, but several require you to be lively! And one of the most popular contests is fishing, since we have a large, well-stocked pond in our 'front yard.'

I am new to Encore and thought I would try to experience new adventures and meet new people. Not knowing what I was getting into I attended Laff a minute. An improve experience, something I have never done . I have had many laugh and met some wonderful new people who made me feel very welcome. I now look forward to attending every session. Encore is very welcoming to new members

Encore Village has provided me with growth opportunities-physically, mentally, spiritualty-and fun-filled living. When I first arrived I wanted to sing in the choir and play bridge I did so within weeks. I was invited to attend Laff a Minute and it continues to be one of my favorite activities. We play games including improvisations and realize how creative people can be. I attend exercise programs in the Fitness Center, including line dancing and chair Tai Chi. I enjoy group discussions and keeping up to date on world events in Great Decisions and new inventions and ideas in Current Events. We have a full time Chaplain with worship, reflection, and Bible study opportunities as well as Shabbat for our Jewish residents. I enjoy the resident run group that seeks to enhance our understanding of the Christian faith. And, fun! I enjoy dining and wining with friends in our dining rooms and Bluestone Pub and listening to live entertainment in Assembly Hall. I enjoy life at Encore.

I have lived here NINE years. I lived in BRIDGEWATER [removed] for 8 years. I have lived in BRIDGEGATE [removed] for one year. I am ONE hallway and one flight from the main atrium. I love access to the store, the coffee shop, the bar, Friendship Hall, MOSAIC, library, and so many other amenities. I am centrally situated and I am enjoying each and every minute of my life here. Very friendly and [name removed] is very happy. The fact that a lot of the Senior Living rooms are on ground level is convenient. The front entrance has a shaded area, where the seniors enjoy sitting out and socializing. Neighbor sees great improvement in their friend due to socially connected residents.

Food is healthy and plentiful, Cleaning of apartments is every 2 wks. Maintenance staff is excellent and helpful. Lots to keep us entertained. Movies, games, cards, music, bingo, Wii bowling, sr Olympics, wonderful classes, physical and mental. Huge pools! Fitness center.

Encore Village (Friendship) has been my home for the last 16 years. To start with good, my life has been enriched by many new friends to be close to family, church and gardens does enrich my life. Plenty is the wide variety of extra activities. Meeting new people who like to play cards, fish, sing in the choir, play water volleyball and exercise makes my day! My life here is better physically, mentally and spiritually.

The apartment is roomy and modern a very comfortable place to live! The front desk & cleaning people & maintenance people look out for mom and are friendly! Love, love, love all the activities! So fun and cool! A welcoming place for mom and us!

Great staff and maintenance experience is very hands on and knowledgeable. Our request to maintenance was expedited quickly and seamless.

A few things I like most about the community - The friendliness of residents, very diverse activities, and the food is delicious.

The staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. They offer an excellent facility with lots of great activities.

This is a nice place and was very good for my mother even though it was short term. She loved the food there. I felt the kindness that the staff had in good and bad times. I like this place! Thank you to them all!

The staff is great. They encourage the residents to get involved with others and to participate in activities. Unfortunately because my mother has vascular dementia, she is more argumentative and doesn't want to participate. She is also wheelchair bound. The staff still will encourage her. They also have special occasions that family members can have dinner or lunch with the residents, such as Thanksgiving, Easter, Mother and Father's Day's. Just recently they had a BBQ for Memorial Day. So they try to make things special.

It's a beautiful facility! Apartment sizes are generous and lots of activities for all kinds of interests.

The rest of the list I don't have enough experience to rate. No complaints, though. Yes, we would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

We love Shipley Living. They've been very nice. People are really friendly, the food is great and the community is very clean.

I would recommend to others - it's a lovely facility. It's a beautiful facility that we felt good about having our mom in. Also great restaurant and food selections.

I moved to Encore Village almost exactly three years ago. I was the best decision I have ever made! The apartments are very nice; the food and food choices are excellent. As a matter of fact, "choices" pretty much describes the way of life here. Choices in dining, choices in fitness activities, choices in daily life. If you like choices. we have them. Swimming?
