This place is fantastic. My 92 year old mother relocated from Rapid City to this community. The food is great but the staff is even better. [name removed] was able to make the transition a smooth and flawless occasion. Today my mother made a Thanksgiving centerpiece and made a friend also (the friend has a dog). Tomorrow they are meeting for coffee, what a sweet place. My mother loves this place.

After touring other facilities we would find them ok but had lingering doubts. With Encore in South Barrington there was no doubt. Once inside we were greeted and toured the residence and felt that this is the perfect place to care for our family member. I cannot say enough how kind and caring the team at Encore has been. This is a team that works together to ensure the safety and comfort of the residents. I highly recommend Encore when you need to make this very difficult decision.

Encore South Barrington has been a welcoming environment in every regard. The building is modern, cheery and reminiscent of a hotel. The staff is friendly and treated her like family. It is such a relief knowing she has excellent medical care onsite. After visiting a number of Memory Care units, Encore provided the best value and a wonderful first impression.

We picked this community, because due to recommendations by A Place for Mom, and the smaller size of the facility. We have been very impressed by the staff, [names removed] have been extremely helpful in making my loved one and ourselves comfortable. We really are happy with our loved one here.

The staff at Encore at Crystal Lake are very caring and very professional. They want to do what's best for whoever they're taking care of. They keep in very good contact with you. If there are any difficulties or they need anything, they get right to you. They always had activities available. It's a very well run organization, and I would recommend it to anyone. I like the fact that it was a small group - they had a maximum of 38 residents in memory care, so all the staff knew everybody.

We were very happy with their care and attention. Unfortunately for us was mom was in a physical and mental place that didn't fit with their capabilities. Mom was more than assisted living could provide. Waterford Senior Living is a great place!

It's a very nice facility along with awesome staff. Just needs to be a little bit more established. Which with time will come.

The newness and cleanliness of this facility stood out to us here. It's bright and friendly.

The commons area are always very clean. They are very friendly. The staff are just so pleasant. My loved one is well taken care of. The interaction with the staff is terriffic. If they don't have an answer they will get one for you.. The food looks good. It's a nice variety, and the portions are fine. The keep the residents, very engaged all day with activites. They have an arts/crafts room, and a large library. It's strictly a memory care facility. It's wonderful. They also have, a physical and occupational therapist, that comes in and there is also two doctors on staff. In additon, they have a beauty/barber sho.

I love Encore and the staff. The facility is clean and a great value for the money. I am so happy I found Encore for mom!

The staff, all the way from the top down, is approachable. Everybody is kind and caring. When I visit, they seek me out and talk to me about what my mother has been up to and how she's feeling, positive and negative. They call me often to discuss her health and care plan. They have excellent communication, not just in their friendliness but also the frequency and quality of their communication. I feel safe and secure having my mother there. They take very good care of her.

We have had a great experience at Encore at South Barrington. They are very good with my mom and providing care that we could not at home. They keep the residents busy with a regimented activities schedule which is very good for her. The staff are excellent and I like that I see a lot of the same staff so it is consistent rather than having new faces every day. I would definitely recommend this facility to others looking

What sticks out most about Randall Residence of Auburn Hills is the staff and their willingness to help out. They took great care of my mother. They helped not only her, but our family as well. I would recommend this facility to other families.

I toured with Encore at Maplewood and loved it. The price was less, the rooms were beautiful, it just looked like a great facility. When we told them our loved ones needs, they just did not seem as equipped or willing to take on the needs that she had.

Very friendly staff. They personally met with my mother to evaluate her case and she was admitted very quickly. The place is very clean and they seem to have a lot of activities available for the residents. They have been very responsive to my requests for paperwork, etc.

We are so pleased overall with this place! The staff is wonderful!

I toured Hickory Park Senior Living and I liked it. It was a good tour, but it wasn't a good fit for us. My husband is in mild dementia and because of that, they felt they couldn't take him.

I attended an open house looking to place a family member. I was welcomed immediately by both staff and residents. The residents and staff were equally as excited to show me their home. As anyone can imagine, transitioning a parent is an extremely difficult process. After spending a great deal of time answering all of my questions, the staff and residents left me excited for my family members future instead of the aprehension that comes with placement. Bless you for your beautiful facility that feels like home.

There are a lot of activities. The staff is friendly. They're very easy to communicate with, and they're willing to talk to the family members about any situation. The care is good overall. They check on my loved one every couple of hours and throughout the night. It's a small facility, so it's very cozy and comfortable.

I give all categories a 5. My dad really likes it there. The only thing he complains about is the van/bus they use to take trips. It's super old and has no shocks so the old folks are tossed around and could possibly get hurt. Dad won't ride it anymore because it hurts his back too much to bounce around like that. My dad is hard to please so if he likes it, it must be nice!
