Lots of nice people and activities. It is definitely SR Living vs an 'old folks home'. Yes ,we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

My mom was there for respite care. The admin staff was very helpful in getting it set up... easy process. The facility staff was also helpful in moving her in. The accommodations were top notch. Unfortunately my mother had a medical emergency on the first morning after her first night. The medical staff were very responsive and my mother was well cared for until emergency personnel took over. She wasn't able to complete her scheduled stay. Courtyard was very accommodating in a refund and coordinating return of her belongings.

With the cleanliness, I need to qualify this. The facility is clean and attractive. My parents both have significant incontinence issues, and their room is cleaned once a week. Between the cleaning day the bathroom in particular suffers and although care givers do some cleaning it is not always thoroughly done.

First, [name removed] from [community removed] helped us find an opening at Courtyard of Auburn Hills as her facility didn't have an immediate opening and offered to transfer my sister in law when one became available. As it turned out Auburn Hills was close to relatives and worked out fine for us also. I have to say the staff at both cottages were exceptionally accommodating to both my sister in law and us. They were always very kind and helpful to her with meals and medications. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful caring facility. They aim to provide the best possible experience. They have a great activities employee so on Friday afternoon there is great entertainment. Also, we have a nurse on duty who can take care of your needs.

All the staff quickly learned our family's names .They are constantly cleaning the common areas to keep it sanitized and tidy. They really embrace a team effort at Encore. ALL the staff are there to assist the residents as needed. Great variety of activities.

Encore was the only place that the residents seemed to be happy and enjoyed the activities. The rooms are Adequate.

Our family member has nothing but positive comments about the facility. Food is amazing, staff is very personable and caring. A very active social calendar has something for every resident. They really want input from residents to help make any improvements.

5 for all. This is a good safe facility with great staff and we would definitely recommend Encore Memory Care at Crystal Lake to other families based on the experience so far!

The staff and caregivers are so compassionate and thoughtful it has made a difficult time easier. Everyone takes time and shows genuine empathy to the families who live there. My parent enjoys the food and we all enjoy the activities.

The courtyard feels like family. always super clean, friendly staff, lots of activities available.

When I walked in the front door, I knew this was the place for me. Cleanliness is really important to me so I knew Hickory Park took great pride in this too. The staff is friendly and kind. The food is nutritious and always served warm. The Activity Director is wonderful. I love the Crafters group. I look forward to what we’re going to create every week.

A few months ago I started my search for a place with more care for my Mom. [name removed], assistant director at Hickory Park walked me through all the steps to help me know HP was the best place for my Mom. She guided me with such patience, compassion and direction. From the day I walked in, I had a warm feeling. The staff is absolutely amazing making my Mom feel welcomed as if she was always there. The place is beautiful and we were so happy with it being smaller and not so overwhelming. Every resident that passed her by, stopped to introduce themselves and welcome my Mom. Again [name removed] is an amazing person especially when you need someone to make you feel like you are making the right decision for the person you love.

You can see by my answers, I am very satisfied with placing my Husband in Encore. They really seem to care about the patients. I go almost every day and they treat everyone with respect.

The facility was very bright and clean. Residents were well cared for. Staff was always present. They were friendly and helpful to residents and visitors.

The staff are the best. They make this place feel like home. Everyone is kind and I can go to any person who works here with a question. From the caregivers to dining staff, everyone is top notch! A-okay!

Five for all of them. We love this place. It is a great location. The staff are wonderful. We love it. The staff are wonderful. They treat my mom with respect and the getter involved with all the activities there. My mom loves that place. They have rules. But it is an environment where they let them live their own lives and make some of their own decisions.

After visiting more than six communities, I determined that Hickory Park was the best fit for me. I was impressed with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the entire management team. They made an immediate impression on me and made me feel at home. The entire team is always ready to help. Good place to be and safely enjoy my days with friendly and caring people

I am so grateful for the staff at the Courtyard at Auburn Hills. They were so helpful in helping move my father out of skilled nursing rehab- you can tell that the people that work there really care for the residents. Staff are always friendly and responsive, with great communication.

I didn't look at any others. I was satisfied with what I saw at Encore, and the location was the closest to me than others I was considering to visit. I'm very confident that my brother is getting the best care. He seems very happy at Encore.
