I really like it from a child standpoint. My mom is well taken care of. It's a clean facility. It is at a price point in which it is not breaking the bank for my mom. It's in a great location. However my...

Dependent Senior Living

This well established independent living community has one glaring flaw. Residents do not have access to a variety of health care companies. They have an in-house home health/private care agency that rents an office and is the preferred/ protected agency and friend of management. So if you're not happy with their services or if they don't have the skill set you need, you're out of luck. Upper management doesn't believe you should have the freedom of choice even though you're living independently.

Not recommended

My loved one was previously a resident at Emerson at Rosemeade Park and the entire experience was terrible. The facility was terrible and the staff was rude. I would not recommend this facility to others.

Basket Place Residence

They have been cutting back tremendously. It is not uncommon to wait 30 minute to get served in the dining room. There are now minimal housekeepers;4 to clean over 200 rooms. Quality people have left or been terminated so [name removed] can minimize cost. [name removed] never does her job and is nasty to residents. Good people like [name removed] are shunned aside. [name removed] , terrific salesperson and helpful, was terminated to allow a click member to stay. The head of marketing has left. Minimum and insufficient staff exist, and the service is horrible. Food has been cut back, only toast and oatmeal for breakfast to cut costs. There is not enough maintenance people and they just terminated one maintenance to save on cost. It is astounding that anyone would give the place more than a 2-star rating.,

Terrible place.

Recently they went to Continental Breakfast for a full breakfast. Now last week they asked the residents what meal they don't care about not having. The site is NON ADA COMPLIANT. DOOR CLOSERS THAT REQUIRE MORE THAN 18lbs to open. No handicap ramps to get to the public sidewalks. Have to go down the street to the next driveway They are raising their rents. Cleaning people who remove things from your room. Like laptops ECT. ALSO, USE A MASTER KEY TO GO into your room. Then when you say something on-site administrator says sorry about that. The east wing had MANY rooms that don't have A/C. Some also don't have heat. The quality of the facility has gone down since August of 2022 major Layoffs of employees. Buyer BEWARE.

Not what we expected

My husband is living there and he hates it. It's not at all what we were lead to believe. This is having the opposite effect on him. It hurts to see him so unhappy when I was the one who found this place. Very sad. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Emerson NIGHTMARE beware!

This place used to be great. Since new owners, which you can’t find any contact information for CR Capital TX. All residents know is [name removed] is one of three owners. You can’t find anything on the company itself. The food isn’t fit for a dog. They serve dry, overcooked food, with a lot of chili dogs, hamburgers, salads, and cardboard pizza. Several washing machines have been broke for over a year with no repairs. Cable goes out for days due to bad wiring in the building. Housekeeping happens when they feel like it. Maintenance man is lazy and at times foxes something after numerous times of placing it in the log book. This place is mismanaged with management that doesn’t care. They’re rarely in to talk to, and when you do they say they’re doing the best that they can. Residents beware.

HORRIBLE PLACES!

Emerson at Rosemeade Park (formerly Corinthians) used to be a safe friendly place to live for seniors. Under the guidance of the new management company 12 Oaks, this property is quickly going downhill. When residents push their emergency call buttons, the staff does not respond in a timely manner and residents are often left to lie in pain for hours, sometimes overnight. The only part of the building they bother to keep clean are the common areas. Residents' rooms are not cleaned regularly. The current manager is not friendly to residents, families or staff. When issues are presented to management, they ignore them. Please do NOT put your loved ones here!

Poor quality of care!!

My mother only lasted four days in the place before I pulled her out of there. The staff does not pay attention or watch what there residents are doing what so ever. One of the times I had found my mother in the courtyard, she had fallen and could not get back up. There was also a dog out there licking her face. I was in complete shock and could not believe the staff let it get to this point I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Would not recommend

Total failure One of my Parents has lived at Corinthians/Emerson for several years. While the Pandemic created challenges, the entire staff has gone downhill. I would only recommend this place if you like: • Bed Bug Infestations-many residents have experienced this pleasure • Cold food delivered in Styrofoam containers if they remember to deliver. • Faulty AC on the 2nd floor corridors- non existent • Maintenance where nothing ever gets fixed • Spotty at best Housekeeping • Continuous changes with entire personnel • Management staff that gives lip service and no improvements. Very disappointed.

Dissapointment

Moved our parents in Treemont at the end of October and have been most disappointed. The food is a joke. We moved our parents because they were no longer able to cook for themselves. The very small portions and the quality is sad. Fish sticks or Mexican food daily...one for lunch the other for dinner. Wait staff asked..do you want 1 or 2 tacos? And you may be lucky to get a little rice with it. We are having to buy dinners and deliver to them and buy food they can supplement their meals with. We will be moving them out as soon as the lease is up. We've learned our lesson and will be looking for a new place. They put on a good show for family when you come in to look over the place but after you're they it's not at all what you were hoping it would be. Very disappointed and sad that our parents have to stay for 8 more months. We have spoken with management and other residents as well - but to no avail. I can not recommend Treemont Dallas.
