Also very nice, but noisy. Sounds echoed is the open space. The apartments were oddly shaped, although very nice. It is much newer than the Meridian, but not better. The staff was friendly, & nice.

The [removed] cost of a 2BR/2BA unit. 2 meals a day weekly house; linens washed weekly (have to do personal laundry), access to programming, (exercise classes, art studio indoor pool) utilities included (not tele/internet) 26 floor plans largest with washer/dryer in unit = $4350; low end $3650.

we still keep this as an option if we get our house on the market

Great location, square ft is small for price. minimal closet space; small kitchens, no ovens (kitchenettes) Veterans benefit

very nice, but for a similar rate I felt Walnut Ridge offered more

Retirement and Assisted living

Very nice.

There is no salon on site, so if your loved one needs their nails to be cut a family member has to come and do it. There have been several times where we call for hours on end and no one picks up the phone. They also cannot fill prescriptions.

This is a nice place, but the food service is not the best as far as the food choices and they need more servers to pass the food out and get refills. Also a need to vacuum the hallways more offend. and more air-fresheners would be nice. When the residence tell them that somethings needs work on it takes awhile to get things done.

I didn't care for the guy in charge at all. When they interviewed my loved one he had her in tears. They didn't return my phone calls, and when we did come in he had us filling out papers. and we weren't ready for that. The memory care wasn't where the beautiful assisted living is, it was across the street and up a flight of stairs behind a locked door. The dining room was just a little kitchen, and the room was fairly nice, but I didn't like the concept.

Personal is not adequately trained. Consistently ask for updates, we receive nothing. Mom has been laying in bed for weeks & we've asked them to get her out & they don't work with her.

Quality of care leaves a great desired. The caregivers are poorly trained and not held the overall experience seems lacking, as if the care givers have not been trained. They do not live up to the expectations and they try to things the cannot. I am looking elsewhere now that I know what. Could not recommend this 0laceI am looking for. There are good care givers. I'm so disappointed in the quality of care.

My parents live at Jackson Creek Senior Living (independent living) and there are things they like about it: the activities staff, the other residents, proximity to my family, and the size/layout of their apartment are all strong positives. However, I talk to them daily and it is a constant swirl of mis-management: multiple elevators broken, one for many months, inability to source food for the kitchen due to lack of sign off by upper management (why do multiple upper managers need to sign off on the purchase of ice cream or bananas.... trust your chef more!), chronically understaffed dining servers/kitchen prep, disastrous fire alarm situation several weeks ago highlighting that staff were not trained in fire emergencies. I know that staffing is a challenge at the moment but believe in this case it is more a morale problem due to poor leadership/compensation, causing high rates of turnover.

[name removed] is now in Terra Vista in [facility name removed], a strictly Memory Care facility. It's an upgrade from what Magnolia had become, given that the renovation-caused transfer of memory care residents and more reliance on "agency" personnel. I wonder how long they knew shutting down was in the works. Needing to leave was rather abrupt and, of course, was stressful. The changes in staffing and housing for memory care residents precipitated by the major needed renovations caused upsetting disruption. Having to relocate was a challenge. I found several Magnolia caregivers dedicated and helpful.

Our family had an in person tour with The Belleview by Dial and we did not like it. I believe it was transitioning owners and while I liked it initially, follow through with sales staff became quite poor. I would not recommend it however maybe they've stabilized by now. Aside from poor communication by sales team it did not feel like a very alive place - rather a ghost town.

We were not greeted right away so we stood there wondering when someone would come to welcome us. Nearby staff seemed too busy to say hello. The entrance led directly into a dining area that seemed quite dark and uninviting . The person who finally came to greet us was disorganized and unprepared. We spent way more time asking her questions than she spent telling us about the facility. The written folder we were given was not particularly useful. We did have a good experience during the tour of different floor plans. The units we were shown were updated and had spacious closets that were very appealing. Some units had a view of the interior courtyard- also appealing. Other units looked over the parking lots. It seemed dark and dreary and was not a welcoming environment.

Since Dial has taken over the management of this community the rent has been raised twice, 17% in two years. There are no activities, meals are substandard and the staff does not return calls. This is a very expensive apartment complex.

If your elderly loved one DOESN'T need much help, whether they are in assisted living or memory care, this is the place for them. But if the staff has to put a little more effort into helping someone, this is NOT the place. Residents pay a LOT of money to live there and as such should receive better care than they do. This applies to some care givers, the nurse, the physician(s) and most definitely the director, Marie. Only after our loved one became injured and was sent to a rehab facility did we discover multiple issues with the care, or lack there of. You know its a problem when a staff member asks you if the "fracture was caused by a fall". Pretty sure that's something a care giver, who works with my loved one, should know. My loved one has a name and should be addressed by that name, NOT by the room number they live in. Disrespectful. Just because something is pretty and new and shiney does not mean better. Hyland Hills is a perfect example of that.

I fell for the pretty package putting parents 9/2022. There’s no head of nursing. One was hired to start the 16th of Sept but has been out in training for two weeks. The asst. director of nursing isn’t professional, nor is the executive director. The night staff aren’t supervised and aren’t trained. If you’re looking for your loved one to receive the care The Landings claims to offer, you will be disappointed. We have had to install a ring camera in the apt and take turns calling and visiting every day to get anything done that’s included in their care plan! The director doesn’t address concerns, and only cares about the almighty dollar, and is rude. No one knows the residents care plans, emergency numbers are not on the computers used by CNA’s but in files in a med storage room, the asst. nurse doesn’t respond to emails, and dad was left to lie on a cold floor for 15 min. While CNA walked around apt Until CNA friend showed up another 10 min later. Totally unacceptable! AVOID here

Beautiful place, but they do not want cases or have the staff for patients with severe Alzheimer's Instead of dealing with them they let them out of the locked facility. They were left outside in very hot outside temperatures and we had to pick them up. Very negative experience overall, they just were not qualified to deal with that particular situation.
