The staff are very caring and friendly. They stop by to check on my husband often in the day. The rooms are nice and laid out for easy access. The food is very very good, a lot of choice and nicely presented. No where is perfect and so I must add that the air conditioner is very noisy.

From beautiful, modern, luxurious apartments to exciting activities with an enthusiastic Director of Excitement, there is always plenty to do and places to socialize throughout this assisted living and memory care community. Staff are always courteous and accommodating. Well worth the price for a peaceful sound of mind that your loved ones are being cared for by a dedicated team.

I visited Lake Shore Commons in Wilmington NC unannounced. I was advised by my doctor that walking in unannounced is the best way to see what facilities are really like. I was greeted by the Sales lady with a smile and offered a cup of coffee. We talked and then walked around. I was very impressed. I even noted popcorn was being bagged for the residents. I have my information to share with my siblings. We will definitely be back to Lake Shore Commons. Thank you for a very nice visit!

Lake Shore Plaza has seemed like home since the first day. The administration was extremely helpful in helping me make decisions. I live in a cottage and love it! I have privacy and walk over for meals and activities visiting with many. I made the right decision for me.

I am so pleased with the friendly and kind care my parents are receiving at Tribute. The facility is beautiful and totally accessible. They work have to ensure the physician, emotional and mental health of all residents are met. I so appreciate the appropriateness of the planned activities for mental stimulation and socialization.

My mom, [name removed] make her home Ocean Ridge for a number of years prior to her death. Ocean Ridge far surpassed any of our family expectations. The management and all caregivers were a second family to her. The kindness, patience and love shown by everyone was such a gift! We looked at many facilities and NONE had the nurturing qualities of Ocean Ridge. Mind stimulation activities, exercise and socializing are an integral part of what they provide daily. There are not enough words or space to describe how much we love and appreciate them. The director is amazing and set the highest standards making the very best!

Bay Pointe was the best choice for mom. They have taken care of her for 1 1/2 years. [Name removed] is fabulous at seeing everyone is having fun. My 93 year old mother has been at BayPointe for several months. She came here after a fall and hip fracture and could no longer live alone. The medical staff is competent and prompt. The food is great and care is taken to see everyone has their particular dietary needs met. The office and support staff is professional and caring. I know my mom is being well taken care of with patience and love.

This community is excellent. The residents and staff are friendly. The staff is very accommodating and professional. There are a lot of activities. The facility is always clean. The food is great.

The residents are the primary focus but the love and genuine relationships developed between the residents, staff, and family members are what make the Georgian Lakeside such a special community!

This is a beautiful facility with excellent accommodations, attentive employees and delicious food. All the residents are very friendly. I recommend the Montecito highly.

My Mother [name removed] has been a resident of The Georgian Lakeside's Memory Care unit since January. We are very fortunate that she is there. The fact of Alzheimer's is so defeating. All you can really do for someone is make them as comfortable as possible and put them in the best environment. I believe that the Georgia Lakeside IS the best environment. The staff is so caring. Visiting there is an uplifting experience because of them. There is laughter and heart. I never worry about my Mom and I know she is getting the best care and experiencing so many more connections with people than before. I VISITED "LAKE SHORE COMMONS" IN WILMINGTON, NC. A FAMILY MEMBER NEEDED 24 HOUR ...SEVEN DAYS A WEEK MONORITING AND SUPERVISION. I ALSO VISITED OTHER SIMILAR FACILITIES ....BUT THE BEST PERSON....THE ONE WHO HELPED ME THE MOST WAS [name removed] OF LAKE SHORE COMMONS. IT WOULD BEHOOVE ANYONE TO NOT OVERLOOK TALKING WITH HER. GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO WALK DOWN THIS ROAD

Great energy, nice people, amenities were all there, good options for both independent living and assisted living, lots of residents and a good variety of ages/ability.

Tribute is another of my finalists. Beautiful place, excellent rooms. Lots of staff helping happy residents. I was very impressed with Tribute. They're on the high side of my price range, but still in the running.

Mom and I had a very nice visit with the manager, [name removed], at The Seville yesterday. He was very warm, friendly and welcoming especially to my Mom. I wanted for her to have a positive experience for our tour and it was every bit what I was hoping for. She liked it early on and was very ready to sign the contract after our tour and financial visit with [name removed].

Transitions can be so hard, and it was especially so for my Mother who recently lost her husband of 72+ years, and moved to Avamere from the family properties where she had lived her entire life. (91 years) Fortunately, the crew, staff, and other residents at Avamere were very warm and welcoming and continue to be so as Mom makes the hardest adjustment of her life. I was also welcomed to stay in her apartment for a few days and was able to partake of some of the activities, the dinner meals, and the amenities at Avamere. This also helped with her transition. Some amenities that she utilizes include exercise classes, walking the compound, church services, a beauty salon, the library, the little store, and many musical performances, all on site. The front desk staff is also very responsive to her needs, safety, and well being. Overall, I give very high marks to Avamere.
