The facility and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor activities for the residents to participate in. The staff is very caring and professional. Overall, we have had a good experience here.

they really care about the people staying with them, there staff is "A" number one. they can handle anything that happens in that place, very clean, food is good, patients seem very content and happy. Mr. John Degen & Mrs. Phyllis Sanders are right on top of everything going on at all times. wish there more places like this for dementia patients.

It's been ok. I think communication could be better. Very clean. Staff is very friendly. Care could be better. My mom is incontinent and needs reminders every 2 hours and I feel they do not stay on top of that. She is always wet when I go there. I have had a few conversations about it but it is still happening. They just asked if she has to go. It doesn't work that way. She needs assistance and I don't feel like she gets that. Don't really see them that often. When my mom was 1st there I would see them but now hardly see them at all. Food is great! My mom never complains about the food. I have even said I just wanna go there for dinner so I don't have to cook. They try to get my mom involved but she doesn't want to. Pretty good right the value

Chesapeake Caregivers is excellent. They strive to provide the utmost in service. Right now I have the best caregivers ever. That was not always the case. But once I requested a change of caregiver, Chesapeake Caregivers responded immediately. Now I have the "gold standard" in care.

This was the third community we've tried. We were simply exhausted and were willing to stick with you guys. The first set of caregivers were a little too young, still in school, had full time jobs and not as experienced with dementia for our sister but being steadfast and waiting for a month or two, you introduced us to [name removed]. She was much older, excited to assist and friendly.

This agency will send out caregivers to help you when you need it. We used them for 3 weeks they did 12 hrs the first 2 weeks then the last week did 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening. They did an excellent job they were always on time. They would help him by doing light housekeeping and some laundry. Helped him to the toilet also. The staff did seem to be tired a lot going to one job right after another is what I noticed. The manager here was kind and nice and on the ball with things. I would recommend this agency.

In the process of renovations, however, the place is clean and they have a lot of activities. Rooms are set up in a way that allow a larger bed, whereas other places can only fit a twin. The best rate comes with sharing a room. To get a private room you'll pay more. The Chef on staff is one of the best caterers on the Eastern Shore.

One-story building with nice size cozy rooms with a little patio for each one. Big open dining hall. Staff very friendly and made you feel welcomed. Staff knew all residents by name. Residents were clean and happy. Activities for the location were plentiful. Homestead Manor feels like Home...very relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Seriously a place you should visit and a place suitable for your loved one to call Home

I think they do a good job overall at Chesapeake Caregivers! They're a small place, but the staff is caring and professional. I've really been impressed by how calm and efficient they are in handling any situation. The facility itself is clean, the food is good, and we're just very satisfied overall!

Overall I think they do a good job at Homestead Manor. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming, and they really went out of their way to make sure my loved one settled in and felt comfortable. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they take good care of the people that live here. My only complaint is that I think they could do a better job helping the residents get ready for appointments they have scheduled, it has been an issue a few times for us.

Once we got on the same page, Chesapeake Caregivers has been very easy to work with, and our caregiver is friendly and reasonably thorough. She is at a disadvantage since she only comes in once a week. But she will do anything that needs doing and will engage my father in conversation. The value is good, and Pop is grateful for the help.

All care givers were great except we had a bad experience with one and had to have her removed coming back. We picked this community because a family member was friends with the owner of the company.

I thought Homestead Manor seemed like a nice place, but unfortunately things did not work out here. My loved one has wandering issues, and despite their claims that it would not be an issue he was able to escape multiple times in a few weeks. It's a nice looking place, and the people seem friendly, but it is NOT appropriate for anyone with wandering issues.

Not enough staff to care for walkers and bed bound clients. Has resulted in accidents in the past with no explanations as to how they happen. Failed to read new medication dosage and almost harmed my family member. Prices changed as they saw fit, not based on requirements.

My parents currently pay $[removed] a month for rent, and the landlord plans to increase it to $[removed] a month, despite having already raised it by $[removed] last year. The apartments have not been updated since 1985 and are in poor condition. Fortunately, I have spoken with the other tenants, and they also plan to move out. It's only a matter of time before the management realizes the consequences of having an empty building.
