My garbage disposal was leaking and the rubber sealant on refrigerator door was loose. I put in a work order and someone was out the next day to see what was wrong. They replaced it disposal and sealant. [name removed] and her helper were helpful and friendly. I've been here 2 years and every time I've had to call about something, rather large or small, they are helpful and friendly.

The staff is exceptional. Everyone of them offers professional assistance from a Bus ride chaffered by [name removed] who makes every passenger feel "special", to [name removed] who offers virtual entertainment and offers weekly luncheons for a very small fee that is especially prepared with awesome recipes; and [name removed] who heads an outstanding repair and installation team. If you want a curtain rod or shelving installed, it is offered as part of the amenities. Covid 19 had curtailed many of the programs such as Friday night parties with live musicians and dancing with free cocktails as a part of the offering. I cannot say enough in praise of the staff and considering the dangers they face with this pandemic, they all deserve a big THANK YOU.

Carefree is my home. Will be my home until someone up there has different plans for me.

We toured Carefree and the staff were SO sweet and very attentive. They were very quick with their response time as well. The only roadblocks were that there was very little closet space in the rooms and there was no backyard area and my mom has a little dog so that would have been difficult.

The grounds are pretty. The staff is friendly. They need better security

It's for active seniors. I enjoy activities that are not at other 55+ communities. Check the website.

I would say that I'm comfortable here. The grounds are pretty, with areas to walk my dogs. Residents are friendly. I would recommend it.

The facility is good if the person moving in is independent. It's a little on the pricey side for a place that doesn't provide the services that many others do. So, I would recommend it for those that are independent and don't need all the extra services.

This place seems to be fun for seniors, income 1x rent, special offers $1 move in& first month rent free, friendly, feels like home.Parking spaces for seniors, getting in and out of vehicles too close together.

We live in the Villias which are perfect for us. The staff are all friendly and they are quick too meet our needs. It's a great location, near lots of stores and shopping.

I highly recommend this community. They care about their tenants. I think it's expensive, but everything else is good - great care. The finishes are good.

Difficult during pandemic but I felt welcomed and have met a great deal of wonderful people. Activities have been adjusted to meet safe standards. Spacious apartment. Great amenities.

The staff is nice, the activities budget keeps getting cut, and the food is pretty plain.

I chose this place years ago first for my mother in law and more recently for my mother. Prior to Covid it was great. Daily continental breakfast, several lunches weekly, happy hour, lots of activities, a shuttle that went to all the stores and several restaurants weekly. Now ... not so much. The ATM has been stolen 3x. The Beauty Salon is not open most of the time, most of my moms friends won't go to the salon. And now I hear, no night security? Every business is dealing with staff shortages but something significant has changed here. It took 6 weeks to get her washer fixed and we were told to move all belongings inside, so they could paint. That was in Nov... its now July and it's not complete. I'm hoping they can turn things around to how it used to be. For the cost, I would like to see all activities and offerings back, a functioning beauty salon, plus security!

If you are more independent then this may not be the community for you. The staff are good to work with, and are nice. Some of the activities that are available are bingo, line dancing, card games, pool, water aerobics, chair yoga, and more for the residents to choose from. There is a computer room and salon on site. They have been good at keeping up with their COVID protocols.

They have smokers but this is stated in small print. Most people here are disabled or with medical problems. A sedentary lifestyle is noted and seems more like a geriatric setting. Not much movement or traffic inside this type of community.

This community has smoking throughout the community. While touring the grounds, I smelled cigarette, tobacco, and, pipe smoke emanating from the enclosed porches that do not show the smoker. Verbally, I was not advised that this is a smoking facility. by the staff. I experienced a fast push to sign up by the staff.

[date removed] fridge blew up ,took over 1 month to fix, [date removed] discovered closet completely damaged by accumulated water, with mold entire closet. contents destroyed. manager stated damage & mold caused by clogged a/c condense. [date removed], manager said water needed to be extracted & several days to dry.[date removed]- service order on door advising "molded sheet rock needs removal".[date removed], calls to manager-no response, 7 notices from [date removed]. to property managers. Hired mold inspector& told harmful mold-in unit and air. forced to break lease and move due to sons ongoing illness In [date removed], informed by credit monitoring account was sent to collections, despite numerous attempt to reach agreement and never notifying me of anything despite numerous attempts to reach management and resolve.. On 2 occasions, managers left message regarding withholding rent but refused to address mold. sadly i was forced to choose with my sons poor health or leaving early due to report of toxic mold.
