The staff have been amazing with caring for dad. This disease is difficult and they are there every step of the way holding his hand when I can’t be. Management has been helpful and responsive when needed, and the front desk girl is so sweet.

First it is clean and spacious. Second as a vegetarian, I have been able to eat food that I like and plenty of it. Third the atmosphere is quiet and comfortable. And outside, the creative neighborhood is very pleasant to me. I have always liked it when I used to come and visit my daughter when she lived around the corner. I feel safe here. There is a good system of accountability and, when necessary, alarms. ( I accidentally pulled an alarm cord in the middle of the night. Someone was soon at my door calling my name. ) This is a very good place for me to live while I enjoy my old age. Almost 80. Walking, reading, writing, remembering.

Cleanliness is great. Food is fine. My dad has a special order of pancakes, one egg over easy and a small bowl of veggies - three times a day. They accommodate that. Staff is pleasant and helpful even when my dad is not. Admin staff is wonderful to work with and helpful in navigating all the hoops surrounding his care. We are now transitioning to Medicaid and that is going well. He has been in a double room and just got his roommate this week. It's a pretty tight space for two bodies. They manage his meds and stay on top of changes. My dad is not interested in any social interaction so I can't speak that but they have a monthly calendar of activities.

This community truly feels like family—many employees have been here for more than 10 years, which speaks volumes about the culture and continuity of care. Located in the heart of the Seattle metro area, it offers excellent value and a welcoming atmosphere. Residents can choose from a variety of living options including independent living, assisted living, and memory care, making it easy to find the right fit as needs change. It’s important to note that Medicaid payments are not accepted, so care is arranged through private pay or other funding sources.

The facility is beautiful with lots of amenities. I would recommend.

My opinion is based only on our interactions through the move in process. Unfortunately, my mother passed the day before she was to move in. Generally yes we had a good impression of the community. She didn't want to leave her condo but she realized living alone was no longer an option. Merrill Gardens was in her neighborhood and they were very welcoming so she was open to the idea and received a good impression from everyone there.

My father has been at Vineyard Park for over a year. He feels secure and is happy there. I appreciate the place because they offer many activities. It's always very clean. It smells good and the staff are friendly. You need realistic expectations. You are simply renting a room and getting meals. If there are health issues, you need to hire your own caregivers but that's gonna be true with any assisted living facility. When I need care, I think I would choose a group home due to the limited number of clients and more stable staff. But you have to do your homework and find a good one.

5 on all of them Stafford is a great place!! It is safe and feels very homey. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Everything is great! We love it. Many of the faculty have been there for over 20 years. Staff are friendly and seem happy to work there.

I have lived here for six years. I'm in independent living and enjoy the staff and the other residents that live here. The food is great with lots of variety. It's clean, well-maintained and the staff is very responsive.

Price and location. Family member needed to be close but not too close. View is amazing. Price and options for advanced care. Definitely a recommendation

It was a relief to find Truewood at First Hill. Who knew? It’s a little hidden gem right in the most chic, touristy part of downtown! A Place for Mom really helped and in 1 day lined up 4-5 senior homes with appointments for tours for us the following day! We landed here as the 4th of 5 places lined up to visit. Once we arrived at Truewood by Merril, First Hill—met the staff, residents and execs, we were hooked, cancelled the next place we were supposed to see and signed the contract that night. They were extremely accommodating while i was helping my parent move in, all hours of the day and night :), allowed me to stay while settling them in, and treated us with respect, kindness and genuine care all along the way. Really, we are so grateful for this place!! And the food is amazing ;) my parent is a picky eater, and every day he says the food is fantastic and they swerve all of his favorite things. Thanks again everyone!!!

We only toured 3 or 4 facilities and all most were lovely but Merrill Gardens had a vibrancy that wasn't present at the other facilities. I think my mom would have enjoyed living with these people. Unfortunately my mom passed away before she could move in.

They were great people all the way to mom's passing and beyond. I would highly recommend The Cottages of Lynwood to anybody looking.

My mother has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We placed her after an extensive search in the local area to the Cottages of Lacey. They group people mostly according to their stage of dementia and the amount of care they need. In my year of visiting with my mother on a very regular basis, I have witnessed the amount of wonderful care she's received there. All the staff know her, talk to her and genuinely care. They hire people who are natural care-givers. It's obvious. The care-givers approach their job with love. I've been very impressed--and after 1 year, can say I feel very good about my decision to have my mom be a resident at the Cottages. I can't speak highly enough about them.

After exploring numerous retirement communities, Truewood stood out as the most welcoming and affordable option in Seattle. [name removed] exceptional dedication shines through her ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with residents, support staff members, and offer valuable insights during tours. Her warmth and expertise instilled in me the assurance that my grandmother would receive top-notch care and comfort at Truewood. I wholeheartedly endorse Truewood by Merrill, First Hill to anyone seeking a supportive community for themselves or a loved one.

Great place!!! The facility is wonderful. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend Stafford Suites in Sumner. Beautiful place, is just perfect. They take great care of all the residents

There weren't a lot of activities, but everything else I would give a five we were real happy with the place. The staff did an excellent job. They really seem to care. I would definitely recommend Pacifica Senior Living Lynnwood to others!

Sunrise of Mercer Island is like a big, warm hug. You can feel the compassion that the staff has for the residents as soon as you walk into the building, and the care provided is second to none. I take great comfort knowing that those who live here are well taken care of and happy within their home.
