Somberly has been an excellent fit for my mother in law. She started in assisted living when she injured her back. She recovered there with their assistance and PT and OT. She now lives in the Independent Living and is happy there .The community is very positive, the involvement is necessary for a positive experience. Obviously that varies from person to person but she is social and is having a great experience going on outings and shopping. She is even involved in the culinary board. She's made friends and tries to make new people feel welcomed. The initial dining was an adjustment but they try to be welcoming to newcomers. It helps when the family is involved in the transition

Not sure, as they are short staffed. They are trying to keep up. The staff and the residents are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Not sure, as they are short staffed and trying to keep up. The administration is friendly and trying to take care of requests. The food needs a little more variety. They did a survey for July request, so we will see how it goes. They need more activities. Need a full staff, caregivers, maintenance, housekeeping and dining room servers.

[name removed] was very helpful and answered all my questions as I toured [communities removed]. She has the sweetest personality and does her job well.

I had a very good experience with [name removed]! The tour was very informative and I got to meet the Chef([name removed])! We are working on the paperwork now and hope to get my wife’s admission soon!

[name removed] did an excellent job of showing me both Magnolia Place and Camelia Place. The two places are both part of Summer Village. They are quite a bit different from each other in that one is two story and more compact looking and the other is one story and more expansive looking.

Every single staff, member, or admin, who is friendly, courteous, helpful, and so very kind. Absolutely would recommend to anyone, the building itself is beautiful and clean. The grounds are lovely and immaculately cared for and the staff could not be more knowledgeable and friendly. It truly felt like Home.

Looking for an Assisted Living option for my 95-year-old mom. The staff at Somerby Edgewater were welcoming, informative and helpful in understanding her needs and sharing how the community at Somerby could support her in the move from Independent Living to Assisted Living.

The staff was always kind to my MIL; she was only there 2 weeks...respite.

They take great care of my dad. They worked with us for weeks to get him admitted as he first needed to recover from a serious health emergency. They worked with his prior facility as well. They are very supportive with ongoing care.

It all seems great right now, clean and they are putting up with her. I would recommend them all day to others who are searching for care for their loved ones.

Very nice staff was very helpful ., I was looking for a place for respite car unfortunately we would have to do 30 days, I was looking for 2weeks .

It is a good place. I would recommend it to others. My mother is not happy with most of the food.

My mother lived at the community and I feel like she is getting what we're paying for. The building is always clean when I visit. and the maintenance team is outstanding. Very personable and quick to take care of issues. My mom really enjoys the activities, especially ningo and there is amways something going on. Overall she feels safe and comfortable there and I am satisifed with the apartment and care.

It’s a wonderful community with lots of friendly & helpful residents & staff. My parents really enjoyed the thorough & informative tour.

I visited Somerby this week and was surprised to walk in to a large group of residents socializing in the common area. It felt so full of life which was a huge difference from other communities I've been to. Reception was welcoming and warm. Everyone that I came across gave me a kind greeting. The community was clean and lunch smelled amazing! I am looking forward to returning and learning more.

My goodness, this is a lovely community! From the moment I walked into the building I was warmly welcomed with a smile. A group of residents were gathered talking about the day's events. I left feeling uplifted and glad I visited.

There aren’t enough words to describe how great Somerby at Edgewater is![Names Removed] and the entire staff are so welcoming, kind, understanding, and you can tell they truly care about their residents and their families. My family and I had to figure out living arrangements for my MIL faster than we expected. I called[Name Removed] in a panic and she immediately jumped into action after meeting me once. Within a day we were able to have a spot secured for my MIL. They also have helped her get acclimated and even have her socializing! They are truly the best!

Although my experience has been a short one, I moved my godmother into Somerby a month ago so far I have been very pleased with the staff and their friendliness.[Name Removed] the sales manager goes above and beyond and does more than just her job title. She genuinely cares about the people living there. Also,[Name Removed], who heads up the nursing department has bent over backwards, helping me out with some tough situations with my godmother no matter what time of day or night I call her. I have seen a big change for the better since I moved her into Somerby. I am very encouraged with this new management that have taken over only since October. They seem extremely dedicated and determined to make Somerby a vibrant community!
