Bethesda Senior Living Communities

I really liked Park Regency Thornton. At the time we did not go with this facility because it was smaller in size, but now looking back I think it would have been a good fit and I wish we would have placed my loved one here.

Our families experience so far with Bethesda Gardens has been good so far, the community has really fit our loved ones needs and we would recommend them to other families.

The Gardens is awesome. It has a very positive attitude / spirit about the place. It just feels good when you walk in. The apartments are very nice. And the staff have been very accommodating with any questions or requests.

I toured Park Regency Thornton and it's a beautiful and clean facility. We had a great tour. Part of the issue is, the communities who are specifically made for memory care only have much better layouts. Other places that have skilled nursing and assisted/independent living in addition to memory care, makes the memory care unit feel like an add on. It was kind of off to the side and down a long hallway. One of the rooms they showed us had a kitchenette in it. I believe it was or still is an assisted living apartment that they've converted into memory care. I didn't feel comfortable having him around appliances like a sink and a fridge by himself. I told the tour guide that I thought that was a little too much for him. We ultimately chose another community because Park Regency had a layout that just wasn't conducive for my loved one.

I've been very pleased with Collinwood, we are happy with them and so is my dad. I've been very impressed by the staff and their attentiveness and kindness. I like when they have different music programs that come in, they have several church services, and my dad enjoys some of the movies they play in the evening. they have done a pretty good job of communicating with our family, I'm pleased with that as well. I would recommend Collinwood to others.

This facility is full of wonderful caring staff. They are attentive to the residents needs. i would 100 percent place one of my relatives in this community.

The community is almost done with a rennovation. Beautiful colors, new furniture and wall treatments. I had the chance to have lunch there; Turkey/Bacon & cheese Croissant, potato salad and cake was my choice. It was very good. The management team had hosted a Pancake Bar that morning for the residents. They got to choose their toppings: blueberrys, whipped cream, chocolate! Yum! I walked through the dining room and visited with several tables. The residents were happy and chatting with each other at their tables. The physical therapist was working with a lady on the main floor. Lots of visiting in the common areas. The place felt very good!

We loved this community. The only drawback was it was out of our price range.

I toured Collinwood and thought it was great upon first impression. we chose another community because Collinwood did not have any immediate availability and did not fit into our budget.

My tour at The Gardens was really nice. They were more expensive than what I was looking for, but all in all it seemed like a more sophisticated place.

I really liked Pak Regency after touring with them. It is a really nice facility and they offer hospice care. Unfortunately they could not take my loved one because of his behavioral issues.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff and cleanliness all stand out to me. The staff are receptive to answering any questions the family may have about our loved one.

[name removed] is the Director of Activities. She leads painting classes, special art projects, cooking groups, themed parties and much more. The residents go out every week to shop and/or go out to eat at a local restaurant. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does. Lots of options and choices for residents to get involved.

Cambridge Court has a great Activity Director. During my visits I have watched her lead an Italian Cooking Class, painting class, Tai Chi, crafts projects and more. It is wonderful to see the residents engaged and happy.

The value for cost is one of the reason we chose this community, it has everything our loved one would need at a reasonable cost. They have a devotional every single day with different preachers, and other activities planned throughout the entire day if our friend wants to take advantage of it.

My sister and I showed up for a tour scheduled by [website removed], but there was no record of it. The activities director, [name removed] was just arriving and agreed to give us a tour. She was wonderful, every staff person we encountered was so friendly. Residents told us how much they loved it there. We hope to place our sister here in the near future.

I love the openness of the community! The sky-lights let in so much natural sunlight.

We chose Hickory Villa because we had a referral from a friend who had a great experience. Also the location was centrally located for family. The room sizes here are great and perfect for his needs. The staff really watches over him but they give him independence as well which he likes. They are always right on it if we have any questions or concerns. There is a transition period with nursing staff, so there has been a couple of mishaps but I think it is just from them regrouping and I don't see it as a long term problem. I would definitely recommend them.

This has been a very good experience for our family. I suggest you go check the community out for your loved ones. The staff have been very responsive to all of our needs. The community is very beautiful. We have been very happy with the accommodations.

Excellent experience touring the building, residents & facilities. I enjoyed the friendliness of residents, staff members and the warmth of director giving the tour. Very comprehensive and positive.
