I chose American House because the manager was willing to work with me on the price and the facility looked nice. My 1 bedroom apartment is nice size for me, it was bigger than I thought it would be and I do have a balcony. I do not like the brand of foods they use, they have good variety but it all tastes the same most of the time. Overall, it has been a good experience and I would highly recommend.

Everyone has been super friendly and nice. The community is warm, inclusive, kinds, engaging, and they have been fabl to work with.

My mother liked it, and so do I, it was clean and they took good care of my mom. I would recommend this community to others.

It a very homey atmosphere in the residence rooms. The room sizes are good and offer different room options. I would recommend the community to others.

The food is suffering during covid, the portion size is small and they have forgotten my mom. before covid, the food was much better in the dining room setting. When my father's care was increased he was allowed to stay with my mom and he was able to age in place. she really likes the residence and the staff and has made friends. I would recommend this community to others

We chose American House Lakeside Senior Living because it was close to my house and it was also very clean. They were also income based, so they were able it help us out on price. The rooms were very nice for one person, they were like little apartments. I would recommend the community to others looking.

So far it’s seams like a very wonderful place for my Mom The only reason I’m giving the activity a low score is because the state or who ever is in charge of running this facility will not let these elderly people participate in social events. But [name removed] is trying her best to offer the residents at American House a new normal . Thank you

Very nice residence. Clean, smells nice, residents appeared to be happy. Room size is adequate. No problem, just that moving from a house to an apartment would be an adjustment for my folks, but they could have what they need in an apartment of this size. Family atmosphere.

What a change from the previous residence facility! This is for living! My mom loves the feeling of American Home; it’s a bubbly place with good activities, great food , and positivity . It’s wonderful for the apartment to have laundry & a kitchen ! Happy mom, happy daughter!

Staff very friendly and facilities were very clean and modern very bright and cheerful. Floor plan is well laid out so resident does not have to walk far to reach any of the facilities services.

Its just beautiful and the staff is wonderful and friendly.

Ive loived in other communiuties and found this community to be affirdable, but you also get your money worth. The Medical team could be a little more friendlier, but overall all the staff are great. Ive made a lot of friends here

I really enjoy how friendly everyone is in the building. Ive made so many friends, and Im looking forward to more years of good times. many places wont allow you to keep your animals, but here at american house you can bring your small pet with you.

I enjoy bingo at the building. There are so many activities and they are well organized. I enjoy living here, and all of the friend I have met.

This was the first apartment we toured. My grandma didn’t want to look anywhere else. She’s moving in and we couldn’t be happier

Brownstown is a beautiful location for mom. The rent is more than affordable, the apartments are gorgeous (lots of closet space), and the community is very active. There is a lot going around town and there is an awesome walking path in the back. She has met a lot of great people there. Staff is caring and go out of their way, building is very clean, never have to wait for maintenance to be done. Right by police station so she feels safe. 5/5

When my sister and I arrived we were told they did not have an appointment for us on the schedule. However they still accommodated us and were very kind. My sister only had two comments of concern. Stated the place had a nursing home feel to it upon entry. Also was uncomfortable with the long halls. Otherwise, she liked the units we were shown and thought they were very nice. Still looking.

Very good place to live and have activities. Good services.
