Ardent Senior Living

My husband has Alzheimers and has been in Sutton Gardens for 3 years. It is a smaller facility, very clean and cozy. My husband and the other resident get very good care from very pleasant and patient staff. This has and is a very emotional situation, I’m extremely grateful to the administrator, nurse and staff for helping me with this situation. My husband is now part of the Sutton Gardens family, which truly is his family at this point and I at peace that he is safe and well taken care of now! [name removed]

We toured this community for my mom's care. We did like the staff. We did not see the menu of the meals. This community was not what we wanted due to they did not have separate restrooms for privacy. Families might want to tour this community for the care of a loved one.

My mom did well here during her respite stay. The staff was attentive and friendly and all in all, there were only a couple of issues that I had to point out and those were addressed right away. The community was nice and we did like taking her outside on one of our visits.

My brother is still getting adjusted and it would be helpful to get updates. However they make sure he is eating and he was playing bingo when a visitor stopped by. He joins the exercise class too. He is trying to do things on his own and they are teaching him to be a little more independent with the small things.

I have no complaints about the stay my father has had at this community. He has had no issues with the food and enjoys participating in the activities from time to time. I am very comfortable with the quality of care the staff have been providing him and like that he feels safe in his living environment . I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

The Birchwood Suites was a very nice facility. During my tour, I did not notice anything that needed improvement. The staff was nice and the person who took us around was friendly and knowledgeable.

My aunt was only at this community for a short time, but while she was there I was happy with the experience she was able to have. The staff where very cooperative with working with our family and where flexible on making accommodations to better assist our needs. The property was beautiful inside and out and the housekeeping team does a great job with maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. Overall it was a pleasant time and I would recommend this place to anyone.

We are very happy with the great care that our Aunt is receiving here. The staff are always attentive and caring to her needs. The meals are very good and she seems to enjoy them. The staff does offer activites for her to stay active. We like that the community was very clean. We are happy to see the care that is received here and would recommend others to come here for great care and value.

I really like this community, and my mother in law is doing very well. I know she is safe and being cared for well at this community, The staff is lovely, they have been great to work with. Every time I come to visit, and some times I just show up, but the community always looks great. Also my mother in law looks nice, they do a good job with her personal care. If I knew anybody that needed this type of care, I would recommend them to this community. It is a lovely community.

The tour was really nice and the people were knowledgeable about the community. The residents were out and about doing things in the community. We just did not think that this was the right place.

Birchwood Suites is not a large overwhelming facility which made it ideal for my mother. She needed a place with a homey feel and I cannot say enough about the wonderful care the staff provides. There is a separate shower room which is a negative for mom but I understand the safety concern. Some updating is needed but they are working on that.

We use the Day Service. Things are pretty good there. It's very convenient. They have something going at all times. They provide meals when needed. It seems to be pretty good. They have a lot of people and could use a few more staff. It's very clean, but the parking can be challenging, they could use more room for loading and unloading, and the driveway has some potholes, but all in all I am pleased.

Thank you to all the staff at Sutton Gardens for making it the warm and caring environment that it is. They are aware and responsive to his unspoken needs.

Small,warm and friendly. Sutton Gardens is an enhanced care facility...it has a great resident to patient ratio, which provides safe and individual care and concern. The facility itself is a bit old but is well maintained! The heart is in the staff ...from Administration, the resident caregivers to the building maintainers and...let's not forget the Chef! Thank You to a Great group of people.

We really loved it at Jones Manor on the Sound. But we found a better and much cheaper facility that was more convenient. We really loved this facility. It really felt homey here. There are fewer residents which really makes it nice. I do wish it was more fenced in so mom could wander around the grounds more. She loves to be outside. The person who took us on the tour was so so nice. Overall we loved this facility we just had to go with a different one that was a better fit.

The staff was always really good at contacting me regarding anything that happened with my dad or any questions. They were always available to answer any questions and always got back to me promptly. In general the staff was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

Sutton Gardens is a very caring facility. They are their to actually help them. Its a nice atmosphere it feels like home. she is very happy so am I. The have a lot of activities during the day. It is clean facility and maintained.

We visited this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a clean, nice looking, healthy community. Based on what I saw I could definitely recommend it as being worth a look!
