I have been here under a year. I love the people here and enjoy some of the staff. The dinning service could be improved but getting better . The staff tries to help me the best they can , sometimes I’m a lot to handle though .

Im still new here, and getting used to everything and everyone. Everyone is very nice and friendly. They make me feel at home. I like the activities and can't wait to be settled and ready to participate.

Everyone here is nice. I get help whenever I need it. I like to read books, and play solitaire, and watch tv.I have company quite alot. The food is good and everyone is always smiling.I would recommend living here.

I go to crochet group and we make hats and scarves for the needy. I enjoy playing cards and the activities are great. I love going on the outings we have. I can go on the facility bus anything I need to.

I enjoy the activities here, residents and staff are very nice and out going. I have access to the outside parking lot from my door, and I can sit outside when I feel able. It's close to Krogers and I have an electric scooter I can ride down there.

I can come and go when I need to. I love all the activities. I love the staff and residents. I can go to dr. appointments on the facility bus when needed. I can do my own laundry, the way I like it done.

I moved here because I wanted to remain active. I moved here so I didn't have to leave and do activities. I enjoy the activities here. I am able to be independent. My children don't have to be concerned about me due to them living far away they know I'm safe and doing well.

I like living here because I don't have to go out in the cold. The people who live here are friendly. I enjoy playing bingo and especially when I win.i enjoy the entertainment. The housekeeping ladies are very nice. The servers in the dining room are terrific.

I have lived here for 10 years, first six with my wife and last four on my own. I like that I get to lead Veterans meetings every week with all the veterans in the community. Some days the food is good and some days are not my favorite. The staff is also great.

[Name removed], the Director, has lots of energy. She introduced my mom to everyone. They all know her by name. She has mild dementia and they have been great with her. They access them for PT and OT right there. The housekeeping is good, she doesn't need much. Move in was easy. The apartments on the 4th floor are brand new. Meals could use more variety. I would love to see more activities. We would highly recommend St Pauls to others.

Great place and my mother loves it there. Disappointed in the 8.3% rate increase this past January. The place was referred to us by a friend.

My mother is unhappy about the food. She doesn’t have many teeth and is hard for her to chew and says the meat is too tough. Also someone should be at the front desk at all times to let people in and out the door and to answer the phone.

A lot of the staff are very nice and helpful, but that is also when I'm there. The management really doesn't keep you apprised of things/changes. They also said they were going to fix her bathroom floor when we moved in, but haven't as of now. Not sure about the food as I haven't eaten there. They really don't get a choice, but my mother just eats what they provide and doesn't seem to ever complain. The move in process was fine. Housekeeping isn't always on time, but does okay. The only thing my mom complains about is not having anything to do in the evenings, but I think that's because of the other residents, so not really much you can do about that. Overall, I think my mom is happy and does not want to move.

What I like most is the sense of community for the residents. My loved one spends a lot of time in the cafeteria, and there is encouragement of other residents to sit together talk together and enjoy activities, and so her living there gives her a sense of community she would not have as she was living alone. I don't hear much from social workers or staff from the administration level as there's not many check-in's. I would like to see a little more communication from that level. We do get calls from the nursing staff once in a while if there are questions but otherwise, most of the interaction is initiated by us.

Great facility with friendly tenants and workforce. Plenty of good food.

My loved one is constantly complaining the food is terrible. We have gone as far as buying her a bigger fridge, crock pot, and a little electric skillet so she can prepare some of her own food. She doesn't want to go down there everyday to eat. She loves the place not interested in leaving, but in her words the food sucks.

We chose this facility because Mom knew a few of the residents. The only thing she really complains about is the food - which I hear is a common pastime for many assisted living residents. Staff is generally great. They've had some turnover.

Be sure to check it out. I'm glad I moved here. It's located in a good area with shopping and medical services close by. The staff is efficient, friendly, and very accommodating.I picked this residence because of the services offered, the price and location.

They were very friendly. Beautiful facility. Mother choose it. It is very close to mom's church.

I would say that overall Sugar Grove is a safe, nice place for seniors to live. Picked this company because my brother and I toured the facility and were impressed.
