The residents and staff, overall, are friendly & welcoming. However, the residents are basically home bodies. They don't venture out to go on very few group trips unless it's the Dollar Store or an event at a church.

My experience at Phoebe Wyncote Ministries: Independent Senior Living has been mostly positive. I would recommend it as an option for consideration for anyone seeking a place of their own. Especially if they're in need of assisted care or may need access sometime in their near future.

Pheobe Wyncote is quite pleasant, quiet, peaceful, friendly. It is in a really nice, suburban, neighborhood . It is reasonably priced; staff are all friendly; very casual, small, clean, easygoing. The Independent Living apartments that I have seen are quite pleasant, comfortable & easy to maintain. It is situated in a lovely, quiet, suburban neighborhood.

My loved one is pretty happy with the food. They have activities and try to get everyone involved but my loved one does not participate. We picked this community because it checked all of the boxes. I would recommend to other families.

It's a great place to put your loved one. There is always great communication with the staff. Any additional things that were needed, they called me right away, and always keep me informed with what's going on wiht my loved one. Overall, they have provided the best care as possible for my loved one.

Great place for senior short term rehabilitation. Facility is clean, inviting and offers a lot for senior care. All the care giving staff are awesome. It's a joint effort to help patients whether you are an aid, nurse, administration or housekeeping; they are pleasant, funny and have great personalities! Phoebe Wyncote is highly recommended for senior care and families that care!

The staff members at Phoebe Wyncote are incredible, it is a very affordable community so the value for cost is just awesome.

This community have literally been a godsend to us. It is a wonderful place and a relief to our family that my mom is being taken care of. The cost is very competitive and better then most places we looked at. The location was huge for our family. We are able to pick her up anytime we want and take her out which we love. The staff are incredibly nice. The have activities going on everyday and my mom is really social so she enjoys that.

We picked this community because, of primarily the location. My advice to other families, is to just schedule a tour and check it out for yourself and make a list of questions to ask so you don't forget anything.

Phoebe Wyncote was able to take away the stress we had, we knew our loved one was being taken care of. They were caring for our father and actually engaging and getting to know all of his interests. You could tell it was more than a job for the staff. Up until our loved ones passing there were so attentive and accommodating we were very pleased. We would recommend this community to others.

I would recommend it. This is a small facility. My loved one likes the size and how easy it is to get around. It's not overwhelming. She can make a call to the nurse if she needs help but my loved one takes care of herself. Lunch time seems to be the biggest meal. They fill out meal questionnaires for a day ahead. So they know what they are getting, if they want it. If they don't, they can choose a sandwich instead or something simple.

They have been very communicative by checking in with me and keeping me up to date on things. She has had to change to her apartment a couples. On average, the food is okay, but sometimes she doesn't enjoy it and doesn't want to eat. We chose this community because of availability, it was within her price range, and logistically it worked out well for her.

Mom is doing the best she can there. She seems to have settled in though she would much rather be at home I think. The staff is very friendly and nice very helpful when needed. Mom seems to like the food she is gaining a little weight. Under the circumstances, it was the best choice for her and she is getting the care she needs and that is the most important thing.

Overall I think they did a good job here. The staff were all very friendly, and they did what they needed to do when looking after the residents. Unfortunately this community didn't end up being a good fit for my loved one, he wasn't quite ready for this level of care.

Good location. Independent, but not really - no kitchens provided (only small fridge and microwave). All meals included. Only studio apartments.No garage. No way to charge electric car.

The lowest priced place--found a pretty good apartment, nice people, common areas plain

My ratings are a combination of her being there as an independent resident as well as her being a temporary resident upstairs in receiving therapy. In which she was treated unfairly by several staff members as well as had her wallet and cell phone stolen. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who cares about their loved ones

The Valleyview felt like it would be the kind of place where they would just lock up my father in his room and not check on him often. Almost like he would be forgotten. It was not an open atmosphere, they do check on their residents, but it just felt like one of those places. It was not a good fit.

We visited this facility on 8/26. This not the type of care we had envisioned for ourselves (assisted living vs. independent living). For K the facility was dark. For both of us the room sizes were small.
