Apex Oaks

This was my dads third Memory Care facility and the staff at Apex Oaks was hands down the best. They not only helped me get him moved in but when the time came for hospice care they recommended a great team. Unfortunately dad didn't last long, but they were wonderful helping me get through that tough time.

I really love the facility because it was brand new, clean, bright and warm & inviting! Very sweet people work there.

Very clean. No odors, ever. The food is great and tailored to the residents physical limitations. The rooms and shower facilities are a generous size. The staff is great. I wish they had emergency generators but they are evaluating installing them. Monitoring cameras are allowed in the rooms - a great feature. The price point compared to other facilities is great. This is not a skilled nursing facility so either you need hospice care or be able to take a loved one to the doctor or ER if needed. My family has no regrets about placing our loved one in Apex Oaks.

Apex Oaks is a warm inviting facility but not just because it’s newly built. The team is full of experienced memory care professionals to help residents with every facet of life. My father’s transition was particularly difficult and the Apex Oaks team did a wonderful job helping him and our family through the process.

This place is brand new, they have two small buildings with, maximum of 22 persons per building, so they have plenty of staff to cover all the resident's needs. A lot of the staff have many, many years experience and training with dementia/Alzheimer's patients, so they are very passionate about their work. Activities are created daily to keep the residents engaged physically and mentally. I visited this place first when I started my search for a place Mom could live, and it will be nearly impossible to find a better place. Residents were all friendly and looked well taken care of. Apex is a well thought out community. Although it isnt a grand size it is right for mom/dad who needs to be seen, checked on and given individual care. The staff know when they are having an off day and they communicate to the doctor and me so I am aware of any concerns. They even accommodate some dietary needs and the chef makes sure dietary orders are followed. Management cares about the residents too, they tune into residents from an individual basis. The space in the room are well used when the residents needs a quiet moment, nap or sleep but otherwise they engage in other areas of the facility for activities like playing games, out with the group, trivia, crafts, bingo, exercise or on a trip. I highly recommend you go see them for yourself.

We moved our mother 4 years ago to Apex Oaks. I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to the ladies of this fine company. They welcomed her with open arms and made her feel at home. They cared for her as if she were family. Since we had her there for so long everyone at Apex Oaks became our extended family. They showed a love and kindness to our mother that we will never forget. Thank you all for friendship.

We just LOVE Apex Oaks and all of their staff. My MIL was there before she passed away and my SIL lives there also. It is so comforting to know that my SIL is well taken care of and HAPPY! Now that COVID restrictions are mostly lifted my SIL is really enjoying the outings and weekly activities. The love, care and respect they gave my MIL and our entire family during her last weeks with us will never be forgotten! Thank you Apex Staff!!!

The staff are all very nice. They take good care of my loved one. They make sure my loved one is always clean. I don't have to worry about my loved one being taking care when he is here.

Memory care and asst living sides. 14 beds on asst living side. private with private bath available Only 2 caregivers per shift (day & night) but also have chef, RN, Admin, and maintenance/activities director for both sides

Apex Oaks of Cypress is a wonderful place. The staff takes excellent care of my husband. I'm allowed to visit any time. I'm very pleased with my choice.

Apex Oaks is everything I was looking for. The staff is friendly and kind. The facility is clean and small. It is close to my home. My husband has a private room. There are no animals.

Simply not true the previous Maybel reviews. Apex specializes in individual care and activities geared for the residents. Communication with families are proactive and gives a sense of knowledge of what is going on with your loved one. The activities include making bracelets or trivia, exercise, or specific events during the month. You can see for yourself by the pictures on Facebook and website. Or go observe for yourself. Great place for your loved one.

I visited this place and it was beautiful and the staff very friendly. I was looking for an assisted living and unfortunately for now they only offer memory care and the assisted living is soon to follow. If you are looking for a memory care I would highly recommend it.

We are very pleased with Apex as a memory care facility. The administration and staff are professional, skilled, knowledgeable, dedicated, and friendly.

If you’re looking for a small assisted living facility where your loved one will receive personalized care, Apex Oaks is a very nice place. The facility is well managed; the staff are professional and caring and the residents seem happy. The home is bright, cheerful and clean. I suppose it’s difficult to come up with activities for memory care residents, but that is one opportunity for improvement.

The marketing director and direct care staff were very friendly. I did notice a bad smell when entering the community. Resident rooms were very small.

Stay Away. Don't even consider this community. The overall from the staff to the care taking. I'm not sure if some of the staff could pass the It is a small community and I would expect them to do better, and they are not. The food is not good and cold. The cleaning is horrible, they don't empty the trash or keep the bath area clean. I have had to remind them to clean the rooms. The billing is never correct.
